38 weeks check up

Question

hello, currently 38 W 1 D,last utz ko po is 21 weeks and nung nagpacheck up ako 34 weeks tsaka nalang daw po ako mag requestan ng utz and other laboratories, nung bumalik naman po ako ng 37 weeks and 3 days wala naman po nirequest sakin, as in chineck lang heartbeat ni baby using their tetoscope po ba yun ? please po correct me if im wrong, and ater icheck pinayuhan ako na tuloy lang ang mga iniinom kong vitamins kase anytime pwede pumutok water bag, mag dugo or humilab ang tyan ko, don nalang daw po ako bumalik sa hospital  incase mangyari mga yun... sa public hospital po pala ako nagpapa check up kaya wala ako specific ob or even doctor... should I go for 2nd opinion po ba for prenatal check up ko or wait ko nalang po sinabi ni doc sakin para mag punta hospital ? thanks po sana may mag answer sakin... #advicepls #pleasehelp #firstbaby #firstmom #respect

Uy, totally understandable ang concern mo lalo na first-time mom ka pa, honestly, a few of us din nag-worry sa public hospital kasi parang minimal lang ang checks sometimes, pero it really depends sa individual pregnancy naman. Since you're already 38 weeks and approaching the critical stage, I think it's worth getting a second opinion just para sa peace of mind mo, especially kung gusto mo ng more detailed ultrasound or lab work to make sure everything is really okay with baby and you. Your instinct as a mom is important din, so if you feel like you need more reassurance, hindi naman masama mag-consult sa private ob or kahit sa ibang public hospital, better safe than sorry, especially ngayon na ganitapalapit mo na sa labor, di ba?
