Definitely U can do so. More nutritious for the toddler too. EBM is not only meant for bb only. My 22 mths is still taking. That is in the event if you have excess. Breastfeeding a toddler is a little different from nursing a baby. After all, by age one, children are getting most of their nutrition from solid foods and most start drinking cow’s milk around their first birthdays as well, so there are no hard and fast rules about how much or how often a toddler should nurse. Even so, one of the benefits of extended breastfeeding is the nutritional boost it can give a toddler, especially a picky one. In fact, experts believe that the composition of breast milk changes to adapt to a toddler’s nutritional needs. Even if your child eats like a little bird, by nursing he may make up for any deficiencies created by his pickiness.

I’ve read about tandem nursing in which a mother breastfeeds both a newborn and a toddler. Some mothers chose to do that because they had to stop nursing their older child when their supply was affected after getting pregnant with the second child. Hence, after they gave birth, they would breastfeed both children. It seemed fine to those mothers. The recommendation is to ensure that the infant gets to nurse first since he/she is getting all their nutrients from the breast milk while the toddler is able to get nutrients from regular meals. So in the same regard, I think it would be perfectly fine for a toddler to be drink EBM that was meant for a one-month old.

Yes. BM would always be more superior to FM. BM of newborn is stock full of nutrients.
