If your baby is at risk for food allergies, for example, if baby or anyone in the family has eczema, asthma, allergies then you should avoid all wheat products until your baby is at least one year old. Most paediatricians believe that wheat should be the last grain introduced to baby's diet. This, in theory, will allow you find out if your baby has any sensitivity to grains. Following this method does not guarantee that your baby will not have a reaction to wheat – but – it will indicate if you need to watch for grain sensitivities.

I agree about checking for wheat allergies first. Also make sure the size of the pasta you choose is not too big for her to eat/swallow. The little pasta stars are a good start.
