Aih, understandable lah nak betulkan rumah masa pregnant, tapi 35 minggu ni dah quite far along, better to check with your doctor or midwife dulu about the fumes, especially since you're in an enclosed space with the door. A few of my mum friends avoided strong-smelling products like grease during their last trimester sebab tak tau exactly berapa safe, and honestly it's just not worth the worry when you're that far along, boleh ask your husband or someone else to handle the door fixing, or at least do it with windows wide open and you stay far away? Better safe than sorry kan, especially masa akhir pregnancy when everything feels so heavy already!
