Repeat Newborn Screening?

My baby was born at 35-36 weeks. He's 16 days old today. I received a text today to claim his newborn screening result and for repeat newborn screening 28 days after birth. Should I worry po ba na pinapaulit ang newborn screening nya? I don't know the results yet. First time mommy here. And may moms din po ba dito na pinanganak ang baby nila at 35-36 weeks or what they called late preterm? Pinag 2nd newborn screening din po ba ang baby nyo?

Hindi ka mag-worry, mama, repeat screening ay standard lang for preterm babies kasi sometimes ang results ay hindi clear sa first test dahil sa matinding transitions ng body nila outside the womb, lalo na sa premature babies pa! One of my mum friends's baby was born at 34 weeks and ginawa rin ang repeat screening, and everything turned out fine naman. Go ahead and claim the first result so you know kung ano ang baseline, then ready lang kayo for the repeat screening on day 28, pero if may concerns ka na ngayon about the results or ang process, definitely ask your pediatrician to explain everything, okay?
