Baby hitting me during latching

Our baby just recently started hitting my face, chest and pulling my spectacles when he is feeding (2 months)...is that normal? He sucks furiously and loud during bedtime. It just seems very strange, and he is our first so I have nothing to compare to. Will that make our baby an impatient or hot tempered as he grows older?
