Baby Not Sleeping Well

My baby hasn't been sleeping well. He seems to be panting heavily at times. And seems uncalm. We didn't allow him to have pacifier also. Is there anyway to improve his sleep better? He recently went to childcare, not sure if something there trigger him not sleeping well.
