Honestly, the essentials really boil down to basics, lots of onesies and sleepers (newborns grow SO fast, kaya don't go overboard with newborn size), good quality diapers, a reliable feeding setup whether you're nursing or formula, and honestly, a nail clipper set because those tiny nails are sharp! A few of us tried buying everything cute and themed, pero nagsisisi kami kasi the baby doesn't care about coordinated stuff, they just need comfort. I'd suggest waiting till after you find out baby's gender so you can focus on what really matters instead of getting swayed by all the pretty things.
