Wa'alaikumassalam sis! Congrats on your recovery. Honestly, yang penting intention mu yang ikhlas, mandi wajib tu fokus pada cleansing dengan air yang mengalir, bukan gosok-gosok macam mandi biasa. Just pour the water gently over, make sure you istinja' dengan betul, and that's sufficient lah. A few of my mum friends shared the same worry, and their ustazah told them the same thing, as long as the water reaches properly, it counts. Since your wound is still healing though, best to check with your gynae first pasal how much water contact is safe before you do the full mandi wajib, just to be extra careful with the stitches.
