KKH Experience

I delivered my second at KKH on the subsidized ward two years ago and honestly it was fine lah. The staff were helpful, the facilities were clean, and they took good care of me and baby. It's a public hospital so things move a bit slower and you might share a ward with other mums, but for the price you pay it's really good value. My main tip would be to bring extra toiletries and snacks because the ward food is pretty basic, and maybe prep some things beforehand so you're not scrambling when labour starts. Waiting time can be quite long for appointments and you won’t always see the same doctor, but during delivery the nurses and doctors were quite caring. Ward also manageable. Don’t scare yourself too much from online stories 😅 every pregnancy/delivery experience really different one.
