Course for pre mature baby

I haven't personally gone through this, but I've heard from a friend whose baby was in the KKH NICU that the hospital does require parents to attend some training before discharge, covering things like feeding and basic care for a premature baby. It makes sense when you think about it, because preemie care at home is quite different from a full-term baby, so the training helps you feel more confident and prepared. It can feel like one more thing to deal with when you're already exhausted, but most parents say it was actually really useful once they got home. Maybe check with your baby's care team at KKH directly, as the requirements may vary depending on how early your baby was born.
