Anybody used cold cabbage to dry up their milk?

Yes, cold cabbage leaves do work for quite a few mums I know, the general advice is to peel the leaves, chill them in the fridge, then tuck them into your bra and leave them on until they wilt, repeating as needed. My neighbour did this when she was weaning and said it helped with the engorgement discomfort quite noticeably within a day or two, though her supply took a bit longer to fully dry up. That said, some mums find it mainly eases the swelling and soreness rather than stopping milk completely, so it's worth pairing it with other measures like a firm, supportive bra and reducing stimulation, it probably works better as part of the overall process than as a standalone fix. Worth trying since it's low-risk and easy to get, but just go in with realistic expectations on the timeline.
