Mucus plug

Ay, yan ang gelatin-like plug na nasa cervix mo during pregnancy, it basically seals your womb to protect baby from bacteria and infection! When you're close to labor (could be days or weeks before), yun ang lalabas, sometimes may slight bleeding or brownish tinge, tapos alam mo na your body's preparing for delivery na. A few of us mums noticed ours during the last weeks ng pregnancy, some parang thick discharge lang, some more obvious with streaks of blood, pero hindi lahat nakikita agad so don't worry if you don't spot it. Just keep an eye out as you get closer to your due date, but if you're ever unsure about anything unusual, better to message your OB just to be safe!
