Mummy, I totally understand your worry, head circumference can be scary when the numbers don't match the chart, but the fact that doctor is monitoring and baby's development is all normal is actually quite reassuring lah. A few of us in my mummy group went through similar things, and sometimes it's just genetics (like you said, maybe from one side of the family) or baby just developed a bit differently, doesn't mean something's wrong if everything else checks out. Since doctor is keeping an eye on it, just stay consistent with the check-ups and trust the process; most of the time these babies catch up or it turns out to be nothing at all. You're doing the right thing by getting it checked, so try not to stress yourself too much, okay?
