Trying to concieve

After having our first 1 year +, i was tested pregnant for 6 weeks+ but had a miscarriage soon after. Doc said better take a good rest for your body, and gave us birth control pill. Our son is now almost 3 years old, and we stopped the birth control pill a while ago and had trouble to get pregnant. Told the doctor, and she said it does a take a while for some to get pregnant. Does anybody had the same problem like us after take the pill? #pleasehelp

Ahhh I can understand how frustrating this must be lah, especially after waiting so long, a few of my mum friends also took a while to conceive after stopping the pill, so you're definitely not alone in this. Your doctor is right that it can take months for the body to regulate itself after hormonal contraception, tapi if you've been trying for a good stretch now without success, maybe it's worth asking your doc for some basic fertility checks (hormone levels, partner's count, etc.) just to rule out anything else lah.
