Congratulations on your 14 weeks, mommy! From what I've generally heard, PPUM being a government hospital means the costs are much more manageable compared to private, normal delivery would be quite affordable, and even C-section at the private wing (UMSC) is around RM15k, so the government side is significantly lower than that. The care from doctors and nurses is generally spoken of warmly, though like any busy government hospital, you may need a little patience with waiting times. Some mums I know prefer it specifically because the medical expertise there is very strong, being a teaching hospital and all. I hope whichever you choose between PPUM and HTA works out beautifully for you and baby!
