Umbilical Hernia
My 7 weeks son has umbilican hernia. It popped out pag crying. No blood, hindi mabaho or anything. Sabi ng pedia it will resolve on its own until 6 months. Meron po ba sa inyo na naayos ang umbilical hernia ng kusa? Thanks.
Aw, don't worry mama, ito talaga ang common sa newborns at marami sa amin na naging okay lang with time! One of my mum friends' baby had the same thing at around that age, and it closed up completely by 5 months, she just made sure not to put any pressure on it pag diaper changes, and whenever it popped out during crying she'd gently push it back in. Since your pedia already said it will resolve on its own by 6 months, you're on the right track, pero if you notice swelling na hindi bumababa, discoloration, or kung maging malambot or soft ang area, best to follow up agad para peace of mind. Karamihan talaga ng babies grow out of it naturally, kaya stay positive!
