Cool Mist Humidifier In SG?

So my 2yo has had cough for the longest time and there is a buildup of phlegm in his lungs. I read that cool air humidifier is useful in loosening up the phlegm. But does it work in SG? If not, how can i help my toddler expel those phlegm?

Same for my 2yo! I also just posted the same qn 😅. One reply i got was to open windows and just use fan. My windows has always been closed. Gonna try opening just a teeny bit

I am using the novita air humidifier. It may help but I suggest to consult a doctor first
