Gum swollen from fall

My 20mth LO is having a swollen gum on one of his front tooth from a fall. He wants to drink and eat but is in pain and feels traumatic for him. Can I actually just go to a normal paediatric clinic or should I actually visit a dentist?

My son was fallen and hit his mouth on the floor. His tooth was broken and his gum was swollen. I went to the dentist and he checked.
