Pregnancy with diabetic

Hi.. my 1st pregnancy was failure.. that's was my twins.. Now I miss my period but I check with specialist.. Dr say that I'm pregnant but he also ask me to come in 2 weeks for next scan.. I hope this is true pregnancy.. I already waited for 5 years.. and I also a diabetic. How to control my sugar... Hope can guide me on this.. thank you so much.. #pleasehelp
