- 2026-08-31I feel like I've met with a inexperienced doctor
Doctor say placenta is low laying + baby seems small, 1 part of the womb or something is not getting sufficient blood flow so hence may have affected the size of baby
Dr wanted me to take Aspirin to thin my blood but i rejected
They say if it really continue the effect would be
1) baby will be small
2) i will have high BP
Since is the detailed scan they scanned the brain area and dr say it seems like 1 part of the brain is under developed or not developed cos it did not show in the scan
But i had to scan 4 times bcos of the position of the baby(lodge at my pelvic bone) scanned 4 times and i got bruises
she didnt state if tat part is missing what happens to the baby also she jus say it looks missing need to rescan later+ check size of baby in 4 weeks
Not only that, when I ask about my food intake she keeps interrupting me n wanted to offer my consultant???? Counselling help with food intake meh
- 2026-08-31Hi mummies, wanted to ask if anyone has the same experience as i do. Each time I take ganilia, i have this metallic taste in my mouth that is very disturbing. It caused me to lose my appetite at times and feel nauseated. Does anyone have a similar experience? How do you overcome this?
- 2026-08-31I’m in my 40s and recently started wondering whether I should be screened for colorectal cancer. I don’t have any major symptoms, but there is a history of bowel problems in my family, which has made me a little concerned.
For those who have gone through screening, what made you decide to see a doctor, and what kind of tests did they recommend?
- 2026-08-31My dad has recently developed some swelling and aching in one of his legs, especially around the calf. He hasn’t had any obvious injury, so we’re not sure what could be causing it.
I’ve read a little about Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), and some of the symptoms sound similar. How can we tell if it could be DVT or just a muscle problem? Should I take him to see a doctor to have it checked, and what kind of tests are usually done to confirm it?
- 2026-08-31Hello. Any mummies here have experience with gynae Dr Wang Wanxuan from KKH? TIA!
- 2026-09-01Hi moms! I recently found out I have gallstones after giving birth, and honestly, I didn’t expect it at all. I started having some stomach pain and discomfort after pregnancy and initially thought it was just something I ate or maybe acid reflux.
Has anyone else developed gallstones after pregnancy? What symptoms did you experience, and did you need surgery or were you able to manage it with medication and diet? Would really appreciate hearing your experiences, especially from other mums who have gone through something similar. 🤍
- 2026-09-01I’ve been having a really bad gout flare-up lately, and honestly, it’s been tough trying to deal with the pain while also taking care of my kids. Has anyone else gone through this? Are there any home remedies, foods to avoid, or lifestyle changes that actually helped you manage your gout? I’m also thinking of seeing a doctor, so if anyone has had a good experience with a gout specialist, I’d really appreciate a recommendation.
- 2026-09-01I’m a parent in Singapore and have recently become concerned about some changes in my bowel habits. I’m looking for a Colorectal specialist clinic and also What should I consider when choosing a colorectal specialist?
- 2026-09-01Lately, I’ve noticed my nose has been blocked quite often, along with some facial pressure and headaches. I initially thought it was just a passing issue, but it’s been happening more frequently. Could these be signs of a sinus problem, and when should I consider getting it checked?

- 2026-09-01For parents with teenagers who are getting ready to learn driving, what are the most important things they should know about driver's licenses, requirements, road safety, and preparing for the licensing process? I’d love to hear tips and experiences from other parents.
- 2026-09-01I recently remarried and at first me and hubby weren’t sure if we want to have another child as we have our own from our previous marriage. But after some discussions, we decided to try and we do want to intentionally have one.
As both of us are in our 40s, we thought it may not happened as smoothly. But i guess age is just a number. I am very happy and excited especially since this pregnancy happened at a matured age where the idea to have a child is an intended choice.
however, my stepson is 18, while my son is 17 and my second is 14. The gap for both of us to start over is quite huge. I am excited but I’m scared. I wonder how early I should start seeing my OBYGYN. I honestly forgot the process.

- 2026-09-02Hi ladies! 😊 Any recommendations for affordable and comfortable nursing bras and nursing camisoles?
For bras, I’m looking for the soft pull-on type without any back hooks, preferably wireless and comfortable enough to wear at home/sleep in too.
Would love to know which brands you ladies are using and recommend! ❤️

- 2026-09-03Hi mummie, wanna ask yr opinion.
Currently im seeing Dr Serene from KKH as pte patient. Ive met her on 2 occasions. I was thinking if i shld change my doctor to Dr Suzanna.
Shld i just stay with Dr Serene or is it ok for me to change?
- 2026-09-03Im in my 40s and pregnant with my 3rd child. I have high blood pressure. I had only recently found out i was pregnant. The age gap between my youngest (2nd son) and my current pregnancy is 14 years.
I have visited GP for referral to see an obstetrician. At the GP, at first, the doctor told me he will increase my present dosage, - from amLODIPine Tablet 2.5mg to 5mg).
When we were at the pharmacy, the same GP doctor kindly came up to us and said he had switched us from amLODIPine to NIFEdipine LA tablet - 60mg. It was a fast process so I didnt really process everything until later.
I know I should trust the doctor when he said that NIFEdipine is safer for pregnancy as compared to amLODIPine. But i doubtful fingers turned to google and the risk is there.
I fear mongered myself. Anyone has experience with hypertension/ high BP while pregnant or is in the medical industry? Would you like to share some tips and advice on how i can manage myself?
- 2026-09-03Hello, any fellow Type 2 diabetes mummies here that can share your pregnancy journey with me? It’s my first pregnancy and I’m so worried that my diabetes will affect the little one that’s growing in me ;(

- 2026-09-03Hi mummies 💗 Anyone has recent 2025–2026 experience with KKH or SGH B2?
I’m currently under KKH but still contemplating whether to stay or switch to SGH. My firstborn was delivered at SGH under A1, so this time round I’m not sure what to expect for subsidised/B2.
Would love to know your birth experience, how the doctors/nurses were, the ward environment, and whether B2 has aircon 😂
For normal delivery, how many days did you usually stay before discharge?
I’ve heard quite a few bad reviews about KKH lately 😭 so now I’m scared and really cannot decide hahaha. Please share your recent experiences!
