2026-06-08Hi Mummies, this is for mummies who are taking subsidies, do any of you have ever seen a private dr at kk aside from your appt? I've tried to go kk del suite to req for HL as im having bad heartburn, swollen feet and its affecting my sleep at night every single day. Ive only managed to sleep about 2-3 hours. As it affect my sleeping routine, it is also affecting my body to be healthy enough to work and my jobscope is an infant educarer. The dr only managed to give me 3 days HL as was adviced to take flu meds to help me w the sleep but it doesnt, ive tried massage, elevate my legs and even wear the socks compression but nothing helps to ease. Any advice on this or any subsidies mummies tried to see a private dr at kk for hl?

I'm looking at having diploma incase anything happen to my family, i can still have a job because with my current certificate its really hard to get a job. I mean i cant depend on my husband only. So Hope mommies who still studying can share your experience. I'm also open for mommies who doesnt pursue studies to share experience but working anything as long as can be there for children. TIA!

2026-06-09Hey Recently my 5 month old baby has been having frequent bowel movement, like arnd max 10 stool per day? However, each time she poop it’s just a little. Not watery but just softer than usual and it’s yellow. And there’s a little mucus, most prolly because she has runny nose too.. She had frequent bowel movement till there’s diaper rash. It’s been 5 days. Anyone experienced this before with their lo?

2026-06-11Anyone feeling the same, i don’t really have no appetite or sensitive of food smell. But I feel like I have a lot of phlegm that difficult to puke out, itchy throat and keep have feeling need to cough to clear the phlegm. wake up at night want to pee often and dehydrated so much, feel mouth very dry. Clearing throat occasionally can make me feel like wanna vomit also.
2026-06-11Hi mummies. I am >35 years old and expecting #3 now. I received some high risk results for Trisomy 13, 18 and 21 in my FTS results. I had already done NIPT so waiting for the results. It is extremely distressing for me as the ratio for Trisomy 18 was 1:18. Anyone has similar experiences to share some insights please?
2026-06-11I have a low pain threshold. And now at 36 weeks I've been having constipation and having hammeroide everytime I pass motion. Im able to push it back in. Sometimes it bleeds cause I push too hard. I read its called fissure due to tear. This makes me afraid of going through natural. Anyone experience the same? And does that hinder u to go natural?

2026-06-12Hi mummies, I need recommendations for gyne with excellent suturing skills, steady and professional from KKH. My previous gyne was Prof John Tee. Imo, he is the best. I had a high risk pregnancy but he made it as smooth as possible. He did my amniocentesis and delivered my baby in a 26 hours induced labour safely and I recovered well. During such procedures, he was both professional and caring at the same time. My experience at KKH was excellent. Unfortunately, I couldn't get him this time as he is not taking in new cases. 😭

To those who have give birth at kkh before, upon going there, are we allowed to bring personal bag & small cabin luggage during admission & inside the delivery suite? Do the delivery suite in kkh have space to store both of my bag? Or we need to pass to our spouse so they can help to bring to ward?
2026-06-12Has anyone changed hospital after growth scan? I was a subsidized pt at KKH. The dr I want is at SGH, Dr Yang as a private pt. So i dont know if i should just leave the apptmts as is at kkh and just go for sgh's. Or do i need to inform kkh first?

2026-06-13Hi all, I've stopped pumping/latching for a while now (I'd say about 2-3 weeks) as it was really stressful for me, I ended up having an unhealthy relationship to the whole idea of pumping/latching. But, my maternity leave is ending soon so I've decided to give it a try once more, so that my baby has my milk in infant care too (apart from formula).
