2026-03-18Hi everyone, I’m 35 this year and have a 5 yr old son. We’ve been trying for a second child for a few months but it hasn’t been easy. 😣 I was hoping to keep the age gap within 5 years, but that may not happen as timing gets tighter. If we do conceive in the coming months, our second child would likely be born in early 2027, making the age gap over 5 years. 😞 My son has been asking for a sibling, which makes me feel a bit guilty for not able to give him one. I usually cooked porridge with a slow cooker but for times where i do not have enough time to do so, i am thinking i could cook baby noodles as its fast and like a instant ready option. 2026-03-19How long will it take for a mother to know how to take care of her own baby ? My baby 25 days old and I’m under confinement care by my confinement nanny … My nanny , mother in law & helper are taking turns to care for her. Everyone kept telling me they want me to focus on myself first. Im grateful to my family to come in to care for her . But it’s almost close to her1 month and i barely know how to take care of her when the nanny goes . I feel like I don’t bond much with her and she prefers the bottle over my chest. I end up have to exclusively pump only and combine feed her as I’m also under supply. My husband and I have tried to care for her for just 3 hours and we can barely manage as she starts to cry like crazy . I think she can sense we barely can care for her.. We’re trying to do more hands on but sometimes I just feel like I shouldn’t be near her cause I think she can sense my anxiety Any advise … #FTM #pumping #help1sttimemom
2026-03-20Hi, my baby’s umbilical cord fell off about a week plus. After a few days, i noticed that her belly button has blood. Went on about 2 days, 3rd day theres no blood at all and the 4th day, theres blood again before i bathed her. She’s 3wks old now. Is it normal? Theres no redness/swelling & she doesnt seemed to fuss/be uncomfortable when i cleaned her belly button. Please help me out if i should go to the doc’s or is this a normal thing & just wait it out & let her belly button dry properly. Thank you so much!!!!
