- 2025-01-27I’ve been having sudden nausea and vomitting, and breathlessness for the past 3 days, it’s making me feel really unwell. I’m currently at 24 weeks and worried i might be developing signs of preeclampsia 🥲 my next gynae appt is only in end march. What should I do? Go to a nearby clinic or polyclinic or A&E?
- 2025-01-28Mommies & soon to be mommies - how do you deal with mid - late 3rd trimester woes while working? I can't for the life of me go to work a single week w/o taking an mc. It's always either sore pains, back pains, headaches or woke up late cos insomnia. I go to bed at 1030pm and still wakes up at 3am and then can't fall back asleep.
WFH is a no no in my company- such bs.
Tips please!
- 2025-01-28Hi there! First time mum here. Can I check if anyone recommends going to NUH womens clinic and any recommended gynae? What will be the difference in cost going there vs private in NUH itself?

- 2025-01-28Hi mummies, I am an FTM currently in week 29. I am renting a 2 bedroom HDB flat and planning on putting baby crib in my room, a bit of space constraint. I am still confused what baby crib to buy. Some sellers recommend buying models that can cater until the baby are toddlers or 4-5yo. Or should I buy bedside crib instead?
What about changing area, I dont think I can have a dedicated changing area. So what are the pros and cons?

- 2025-01-28I’ve brought up this matter to his PD before but he say it’s nothing serious since LO rashes will subside after shower. It’s probably heat rash or he’s sensitive to something.
All the products he use are mostly hypoallergenic.
But it’s still pretty concerning to me as he will keep scratching his neck when sleeping at night and wake up with neck rashes to the back.
Have anyone experienced the same situation? Might this be an early sign of Eczema?
- 2025-01-28Hello all! Im a first time nervous mummy here. Just went for my 28 weeks scan and baby is still in a breech position. Im kindda nervous as i have 3 more weeks before the next scan and if my baby’s still in breech position i might need to schedule czer.
Could you all kindly share your experience at what week your baby’s head down and your experience? Or if you have any recommendation on what to do to encourage baby to turn head down?

- 2025-01-28Hi all. Had my first pregnancy that ended with in a miscarriage last year July. Back story: had my first obs appt, did a scan and doctor said it’s small, but doctor didn’t say how many weeks. I assumed it was around 8-10weeks from LMP. Doctor didn’t say much except will see in 1 week but didn’t even make it to 1 week when I started heavy bleeding and had a miscarriage a couple days later. It was traumatic and so heart breaking as I wasn’t aware I was going through miscarriage. I felt so alone.
Just found out I’m pregnant mid Jan with the second pregnancy. Had my first obs appt yesterday and doctor said foetus is very small likely is 5weeks.
Now that made really anxious and stressed out as same words were said abt the first pregnancy but doctor again didn’t say much just said see in 3weeks. Got home and I just bawled until I slept. The fear got over my emotions. Events of the first time just played again. I’m really worried. My heart feels broken already.
Just wondering what I could do at this point. I really pray this baby grows in the next 3weeks or it will be another heart wrenching event. 😢
- 2025-01-28hello mommies, im 6 weeks pregnant and with my first pregnancy i had no to zero appetite at all and always nauseous and vomiting. my second pregnancy right now i keep having this constant hunger every 3-4 hrs at least and once my stomach feels "empty" then i'd feel so nauseous and the need to vomit. is this normal? 😩
- 2025-01-28Hi all. My 2 years plus old son is experiencing leaking or almost full diaper overnight. This only happened recently. He used to wear a diaper from 8pm till the next day, 7 pm with no leak. Currently using Diaper drypantz. Changed to a few brands but still experience this. So, I decided to change a diaper around 9pm. It got almost full and sometimes leak, too. Help! Is it normal for boys? Any brands you'd recommend and this too happen at school. During his nap time 😬
Getting too stressed handling this issue.

- 2025-01-30Hello, I know this is very sudden and literally just out of nowhere but I need some advice. I've been having difficulty communicating with my husband even before marriage and during pregnancy. Right now, my baby is 4 months going to be 5 and we're planning to get a divorce. I would like to know how would this affect the baby/kid in the future and if anyone of you grew up having parents who separated, please let me know your thoughts as well. Honestly, this ending is certainly not what I expected but it is needed as my husband is emotional abusive and does not communicate or even want to solve issues at all which is why I'd rather have the kid to myself as I do not want my baby to imitate his behaviours (hurling vulgarities/neglecting/manipulating/gaslighting) and attitude. Ofcourse there are always cons to having separated parents, but it'll be helpful to know some pros as well. Thank you in advanced :)

- 2025-01-31Hi mummies, I just hit 7 weeks today and like most people, very tired easily, but most weirdly, I get super hungry really fast, and right after a meal, I get bloated super quickly and that bloatness/indigestion feeling sticks around for quite a while! Anybody having the same experience?
Can I get some recommendation on small bites and snacks to eat so I can do more frequent light meals throughout the day?#firsttimemom
- 2025-01-31Hello, I’m at my 6 weeks now and experiencing a very bad stuffy and congested now. Went to GP to get medications but it’s not working out. Any home remedies that I can try? I turned on the humidifier too.

- 2025-01-31Hi mummies, i’m currently 36 weeks and 6 days, I’m already feeling tightening and pelvic pain. I gave birth to my first one exactly at 39 weeks going 40. Found out on the internet that i’m only on full preterm and i should be more cautious, but should i have any worries if i were to give birth early of 37 weeks? Will there be any possible risks that i need to be aware of if i were to be giving birth anytime soon? Feeling very anxious and worried 🥲

- 2025-02-01I’m first time mommy and currently on week 11.
I will be having the second scan in a couple of weeks including the NIPT test. May I know if any mommy here can recommend a good obgyn at KKH can see me throughout the pregnancy journey, who is dedicated and experienced for first time pregnancy like me?
Additionally, I should be opting for private at KKH. Is it true that the pricing is no different from private practice outside? If yes, please also feel free to recommend obgyn outside of KKH.
- 2025-02-01May I know what fruits/vegetables are safe to consume in order to get good breast milk for baby? Seems like my breast milk is causing my baby to get acne
- 2025-02-01Mummies, any idea what insect bite is this and how to treat it? My 2 yo girl got it from childcare a few times already but this time is especially bad. Doesn't look like normal mosquito bite as it is very swollen and hard to touch, now her entire leg is slightly swollen. It is also very itchy and she keeps scratching it. I have applied mosquito repellent lotion and used mosquito patches on her every day before sending her to childcare but she still got it.
