- 2025-01-13Hi mommies! I’m 33 weeks + 6 days now and I’m so tired all the time but can’t sleep either. I dread going to work now because of travelling and I can’t sit for long hours straight. I’m on iron pills due to low blood count since I was 28 weeks and I oftentimes blackout. Do you all think if I request HL, it will be given? I heard public hospitals are not so generous in giving out HL. Please do help me out. Thank you in advance! #1stimemom #Needadvice

- 2025-01-14I recently register my son to start school next Month feb. I received a call a few days ltr asking if I'm still interested n looking for a sch. She told me that she would email me back.
Im not sure if I need to apply financial assistance first then I can get a confirmation of my son's place or do I just wait for email n apply for it aft confirmation?
And also about the fees, I rmb she mentioned abt registration fee which is 80+ n something about deposit/one month fee about 600+. If my son's alrd confirmed, do I pay 600+ by cda acc or do I pay the amt aft subsidies thru cda?
Btw, I'm a SAHM who has another younger baby 11m.#Needadvice
- 2025-01-14My 8 months baby still wakes up to feed around 2x between 7pm-7am. She'd sleep for 5-6 hours long stretch before waking up around 1am and 4am to feed then sleep. I'm curious: how long does your baby sleep to be considered "sleeping through the night"? 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep? What time does your baby start sleeping at night? #firstmom #sleepadvice ##firstbaby
- 2025-01-14Hi,
I’ve yet to make any appointment for my current pregnancy but was wondering has anyone switched from KKH subsidised to TMC?
My first was at TMC and I really love it but that was years back. It was quite pricey so I’m exploring options is going to kkh subsidized first then TMC would save abit cost?
Anyone did it before? Is it cheaper? #firstTime_mom #firstmom #advicepls #needadviceplease

- 2025-01-15I'm 9 weeks pregnant, my first pregnancy. Trying my best to eat nutrients rich food for my baby.
I've always been a picky eater and sensitive to the smell of food but a huge foodie and have always eaten relatively healthy (minimal to no processed food and no sugar). My sensitivity to smell heightened and just the thought of food, makes me nauseated and it doesn't get better even towards the evenings.
Eating/drinking really sour stuff helps for a short while. I can keep the food I eat down, but I dread the thought of the next meal.
Because I'm still actively exercising, I would need to eat more. I heard it gets better into the 2nd trimester, but I'm worried if it doesn't.
Any active moms here struggling to eat properly? What did you do to get more nutrients in?

- 2025-01-15Hi momma. I've just sent my 2 years old to N1. I've been a sahm for this 2 years. After sending him, I noticed alot of his classmates are more advanced then him. My 2 years old can't speak a full sentence. Whereas the rest of his classmates can have a full blown conversation. My child can say a good 2 single words. He doesn't know how to pull down his own diapers and pants. Although back home he throws his own diapers and etc. I feel like I haven't done a good job being a sahm and I didn't teach my child alot of things but instead I did alot of things for him. And I feel I made a big mistake. As soon as he cries, or refuses to do things I let it go and get it done for him. Alot of things are on my mind such as isit normal for a 2 year old not to say a sentence? Isit normal for them not to be independent yet? Isit normal for them not to be able to have much self help skills? Or am I not doing my job as a sahm?

- 2025-01-17hello fellow mummies!
i’ve just gone for my week 37 gynae appt and was being told that bb was at an occiput posterior (aka sunny side up) position & was not told that bb was in this position on my prev appts.. this may cause labor to be more difficult and higher chance for ecsect.. i’m wondering if there are any fellow mummies out there who has experienced this too? and if there’s a chance for bb to turn and not stay in this position?

- 2025-01-18Hi mummies! Need help from experienced mummies who have travelled overseas with your 1 year olds.
We're planning a trip to Japan in April, and my baby will be turning 1 that month. Currently he's 9 months plus and already transitioned to porridge (with bits of chicken, salmon, vegs, etc.). It's our first time traveling overseas with him, and my worry is that it's difficult to find food for him in the restaurants that we go to. What was your experience like? Did you make do with food at the restaurants and simplify it for your baby? Or did you pack some ingredients from home and cook food at your place before heading out? Or did you just pack food pouches (gerber, rafferty's, etc.) and prep them when you're out?
Apologies for the super noob questions. First time travelling out and it feels SOOO daunting. And this is just the food part, haven't planned out the plane experience yet 😥
TIA for your suggestions mummies 😘
