- 2025-05-19Hi mummies!
Just got to know i’m pregnant for the 3rd time. Was having mixed feelings at first when i saw the results on the kit and immediately cried. Reason is because i wasn’t ready and overwhelmed because my daughter is only 2 years old rn. I’m afraid i can’t give equal amount of love to both my babies. Secondly, my first son passed on bcs of a disease and i don’t want the same thing to happen. However, my husband was so happy to know that i’m pregnant and he kept being positive about it and now my views change and i’m starting to accept this pregnancy. Please pray for my mental health.
Aside from this - may i know what folic acid can i take OTC watsons/guardian? Cause i’m still waiting for my polyclinic referral.
- 2025-05-19Hi fellow moms! I'm a first-time mom-to-be at 12 weeks pregnant and feeling a bit overwhelmed. After being retrenched due to office politics, I've spent the past 2 years upskilling with courses, hoping to land a new job. Now, I'm close to securing a role in a completely new industry, but I'm worried about balancing a new job and motherhood simultaneously. To make things more complicated, the company isn't aware of my pregnancy yet. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How did you handle it?

- 2025-05-19Hello mummies! I delivered my baby 1.5 weeks ago. Because of my low milk supply, i decided to latch baby on demand to boost my supply and to pump, including night time. I can’t help but feel like i am all alone in this world at night when i am trying to settle baby to go back to sleep. I feel helpless and lonely, like i am fighting this low supply war all by myself. Anyone feeling this way too?
- 2025-05-19Hello~ I missed my period by 6days and just peed on the stick.
What am I suppose to do?
I read some of the article to visit gyne 7~8 weeks. Is that from last period?
Do I walk straight to KK or private clinic?
Or i need to go to polyclinic to get referral?
- 2025-05-19hi mummies! my baby is 3.5 months old and is drinking gentlease! he is feeding on 120ml but doesn’t last three hours! i tend to feed another 90ml within two hours mark. just wondering if any mummies whose baby drinks gentlease has the same problem?
understand that based on manufacturer, 2 to 6 months baby should be feeding @ 150ml but my baby has bad acid reflux so we’re slowly increasing his milk intake. unsure if it’s because we’re feeding at 120ml that’s why he seems more hungry?

- 2025-05-21Hi Mummies,
Have you ever been fat shamed during pregnancy? I've always gained weight easily. And for my first child, I gained 20kg. Throughout the pregnancy, I had people commenting on how big I was and 'jokingly' saying that maybe I am having twins. Tbh, it is really hurtful.
Now I am having my second baby. I am 12 weeks, but it looks like I am 5 months pregnant. I am not eating overly much either, just really bloated. I have friends and family already beginning to comment on how big I look, telling me to watch my intake. I even have a friend who is pregnant like me commenting about how no one can tell she is pregnant, unlike me, who is round. She brags about how she actually lost weight when pregnant and is very proud of how she is still able to maintain her figure.
- 2025-05-21Hi Mummies, can I know do you get your baby photo after every ultrasound scan visit? I didn't get mine , they just did a quick scan and when I requested for 1 scan photo the nurse told me no photo. 😐
- 2025-05-21Dear Moms, may i know what pacifiers are yall using for your LOs? I know its a trial and error. But i just wanna know how yall choose the pacifiers thanks. #AskingAsAMom
- 2025-05-21Mother in law’s reaction to me being pregnant for the second time?
1) telling my hub that i should “tie my tubes” in case i get pregnant again. Reason? She doesnt think i’m a good mum based on her standards (need to be like her, she takeaway 1 packet of food, she give to her child then just chew on plain bread and say she always give the best to her children). Lol.
2) We dont stay together. She told me she want to help with my first born, 6 years old now, on sundays. I bring him over. As the weeks go by, she need to broadcast and mention to my hub that she’s helping us take care of our child. After she know about the pregnancy, she told us “ya to you guys good news, but i dont think its good news to me.”
3) She’s worried that we will “trouble” her financially or physically but me and my hub earn comfortable salary and most times, when i have something urgent, my parents are the ones who help out with my firstborn.
4) I dont feel comfortable enough for her to look after my second one also. Like who smacks a 6 year old for spelling a word wrong or for being “noisy” aka singing songs in the living room? Who says “use your brain, dont be stupid” to a primary 1 kid?
5) Today she messaged my hub saying “Please dont bring the baby back” and “ask her mother to take care.” LOL.
Feel unappreciated. CNY i gave her an angbao, her birthday i bring her out to celebrate. Mothers day i even bought gold for her (she just say oh ok i’ll open when i’m free”. I’m not asking her to treat me like royalty but at least dont be so kns right? Just ranting. I know my points are all over the place but yeah. I feel better after yapping about it. Haha. #MotherInLaw

- 2025-05-22hi baby is 3month old now, does anyone have any idea on a natural remedy to treat cough and flu(runny nose) for baby?

- 2025-05-22We will be going on a trip in a couple of weeks, and my morning sickness is extremely terrible this time round. My puke comes out suddenly, can’t even be controlled. Plus I have a toddler who sticks to me like a 3M sticker. Can any mummies here give me any tips for the follow (I told my gynae not to give me the anti-nausea pills because I’m avoiding medication if it’s not life-threatening medical condition):
1) any natural remedies for nausea, especially on plane?
2) how to handle vomiting with a toddler next to me? (My toddler ran after me a few times when I rushed to toilet to puke and kept asking me if I’m ok. I feel so bad for my toddler to let him see me so distressed & sick)
3) my toddler needs me to wear him and rock him to sleep whenever we are overseas, if not he won’t nap as he’s having too much fun and won’t wind down on his own, unless I lock him in my carrier and rock him to sleep. Toddler is currently 16kg. Should I still wear him this trip, or are there are ways to get him to sleep? I’m in my late 30s, so I find myself more exhausted and my body is aching badly even though I’m only around week 6 now.
I appreciate all your kind advice and feedback. Appreciate if mummies could keep any bashing to yourselves for now. Thank you 🙏
- 2025-05-22I’m in my first trimester, and I’m vomiting up to 8x a day. I’m working, and it’s so disruptive. The anti-nausea medicine doesn’t work on me at all. I don’t know how to survive this. It’s not just physically straining, it’s mentally torturous. Plus I have a super sticky and active toddler. There’s just no rest for me! Any mummies here can give me some tips on managing this? #Needadvice
- 2025-05-22Why my baby can not weight gain still she is 9kgs
- 2025-05-22Does help relief cough via a patch rather than orally taking meds
- 2025-05-23With Manuka honey. Easy to take and great tasting for the kids.
- 2025-05-24This is my second pregnancy. For first pregnancy, my morning sickness lasted till 2nd tri. On my current pregnancy, my morning sickness lasted about 5 days only (but those 5 days were very extreme, I vomited from day to night and night to day, up to 10 times within 24hrs). Is this a cause for concern? No cramps, no bleeding at the moment, nipples still alittle sore.
Did any mummies experience such a miracle of having such a short morning sickness and still managed to have your pregnancy proceed along with a healthy baby? I’m a nervous wreck now. The last we went to gynae, I was supposedly only 5weeks, and had the diamond shape ultrasound picture which was normal. Am due to see gynae again in 2 weeks’ time to check for heartbeat.

- 2025-05-24Just wanted to get some perspective.,,
My husband went for a wedding dinner and plan was for him to come home afterwards because we are visiting my parents the next morning.
Mind you he is the kind of person who needs sleep or he cannot function at all. Usually I would cancel visiting my parents but something happened over the week and I want to go and make sure they are ok. So I communicated this to my husband early on and also offered to put baby to bed since he'd have to wake up early.
At 11+pm I texted him and asked where he is already, since the wedding dinner would have ended. He said he was going to the after party like ???
Firstly, he didn't bring his keys (intentionally because he would have been coming back early and was lazy to bring). He'll be calling either me or his mother to open the door for him, when he comes back 2am?? 3am?? Secondly, I'm here taking our child for the whole night, offered to take a larger load the next day, and he decided it was a good idea to engage in something that's knowingly going to drain him even more the next day?
I'm not trying to be controlling or anything but it's just SO FRUSTRATING. It's so selfish, irresponsible and inconsiderate in my perspective. IMO you can have me time and go out and enjoy once in a while la, but not when (1) timing isn't right - this is the life you chose now what, and (2) it's affecting others ...
Am I being a bi*ch 😭😭😭
