2025-05-05Hi mummies! Wondering how your gynaes were like/how was your experience? I’m in my 18 week now and feel a little frustrated with mine. I chose mine because initially I felt that she was very positive vibes and cheerful, so I didn’t mind paying more for the consults etc. However, one thing that has been bothering me was that throughout the months of pregnancy, sometimes when I do have questions or concerns, I can’t seem to reach the clinic even though they have WhatsApp. Eg when I had questions about the kind of medicine I could take as I’ve gotten a flu, when I had shingles, etc. They seem to only get back to me after 2-3 days minimally. Sometimes I don’t want to seem impatient but it can make me anxious especially if I’m sick and need some advise. (I do go to the GP but they would always direct me back to my gynae yet I can’t get a response) I’m not sure if this is the average waiting time for a reply cuz it’s my first pregnancy. Hoping to get some feedback on this for me to better manage my own expectations. Thank you :)

2025-05-06I'm 16w in 2 days. Everyone says 2nd trimester is the easiest, but I am really constipated (my piles bled yesterday), burping a lot and dry heaving when hungry or after food, no appetite during dinner time, and really bloated after I forced myself to take some fish, veggie and rice. Anyone like me? It took me 7 years to be pregnant, but this journey gets tougher and harder 😢 😭

Now I found out I was pregnant and I have no choice but to continue working here but i want ask you all can i request any doctor unpaid leave for 2 months ? 2025-05-07Hi all, my preferred Gynae is only available to see me when I am at 9 weeks. Is this too late for my first check up? Thinking if I should change Gynae to get an earlier appointment, though not sure if an earlier appointment will change any outcome.
2025-05-07My first pregnancy was found with no heartbeat at 8 weeks when I did my first scan. Now I’m expecting again, nearing 8 weeks too, and my body symptoms seem to be gone. The fear is back, for history might repeat itself. I’m not sure how to deal with it if it happens again. My doctor's appointment (public) will be on either the 10th or 11th of pregnancy due to my delay in booking it. I’m feeling nervous and wonder if I should go for a one-time scanning at a private clinic before hospital just to reassure myself or to wait another 2-3weeks.
2025-05-07I'm in my first trimester and nothing is appetising to me. Literally nothing. I'll spend an hour looking through apps for food but nothing. Then when I do eat for the sake of eating, I want to vomit out whatever I ate. Is it normal? What is this feeling?

2025-05-09Have been down with flu/colds for the past 2 months or so. Each time, recovery takes around 2-3 weeks, and by the time I’m almost better, I get hit with another bout of sickness. So had like 4 bouts of flu over 8-10 weeks already. And with each recovery taking so long, I’m almost perpetually down with something. Feeling super congested and coughing. Almost every time there is a mild fever. And 100% of the time loss of smell. And I had a flu jab. Nope meds and jab didn’t bring me the relief I imagined. I feel so defeated because of ongoing cycle of flus. Anyone also experienced persistent sickness? Did it affect the baby?

2025-05-09When i check using the pregnancy kit, it stated there that i am pregnant 1-2weeks. But when i did my urine test recently at the clinic, it says negative. And i do still feel the symptoms though. What do you guys think? Im just worried.
