2024-02-26Husband earns a lot more but still expects me to contribute proportionately e.g I contribute 1k and he contributes 4k. We are still paying mortgage half half. I just feel resentful because I know people or friends where husband will just pay for everything.. but we have joint acc so we just use from there. Trying not to be calculative since we are saving for a house where he’ll paying more since he has more savings but just can’t help it… Also feeling more down everyday.. can post natal blues be so late? Once i go out, people start staring at me from head to toe and i feel so uncomfortable!!! :( i know that I'm plus sized thus they might be judging if im just fat or pregnantz but their stares really make me feel so irritated and sometimes i feel like telling them off! 2024-02-26Hi, I’m about 5/6weeks and I found out that I’m bleeding. Bleed with cramps. Red blood. Changed pad once. Similar to period. I have experienced miscarriage before (about 4 months back) and previously I saw clots. This time round, no clots just bleeding and cramps.. like period. I’m going to visit the doctor tmr but the constant worry is there. Any words to calm me down? Anyone faced similar issue? Do share!
2024-02-26Did anyone gain more than 10kg in pregnancy? I’m currently 35 week and I’ve gain over 20.. I don’t like like it however I’ve realized my body has a lot of water retention. So far my check up has been okay and I don’t have diabetics and pre clampsia. I heard some people saying gaining above 10 will be hard to lose but I know different body carries differently In pregnancy. I had a friend who gained 30kg but dropped everything after. My mom had the same.

2024-02-26Tested positive a week back. Went to the doctor and confirmed that I was 4/5 weeks pregnant. Did a scan but they couldn’t see anything as perhaps too early. Now I’m bleeding. And having cramps. Sharp abdominal pain. Is this spotting or is this sign of miscarriage?

2024-02-26Hi mommies, I am a first time mom and I am constantly worried about my baby core temperature rising due to the temperature of the room. Will overheating cause brain damage like how fever should not go above 40 degree Celsius? When I touch my baby, he feels warm not hot.. and a little sweat in his neck fold but not at the back of the neck. When i on 24 degrees Celsius , he will sneeze.. but when I woke up at 26 degree myself, I feel warmth .. may I know what temperature do you all on for room? 2024-02-28Went for scan yesterday and gynae only saw gestational sac (around week 6) although it grew in size compared to the last visit 4 days ago. Did transvaginal scan and it's also the same. Hope my hcg increases..going for blood test after that.

2024-02-28Hi, i just had a miscarriage and also found out i have a 6cm cysts on my ovarian and after the miscarriage check i cysts become smaller to 5cm.. doctor recommend to remove or wait for my next cycle of menstrual as the cysts might go away after menstrual but some cysts won't..after 2nd check the doctors said high won't go away as its might be a dermoid cysts..but im still waiting for my 1st menstrual and miracle..anyone have experience on similar situation on what i should do? Just hope miracle will happen. #ovariancyst

2024-02-28Just ranting!! My baby is at the phase where she likes to touch people’s faces now when she is held close. I get so anxious when people other than my husband and I carry her because she will touch their faces and then proceed to suck her fingers next… I just feel so gross… honestly I want to quickly jump in to clean her hands but that also would seem rude 😭 My husband is chill about it but I just get so irritated. 2024-02-28Will it be a good decision if i decide to invite my ex husband to my son's 1st birthday after cutting off almost all contact with him? He was never really physically present around my son while my baby boy is growing up & it was his decision as after he cheated on me while i was pregnant, i tried to not be a toxic person when we're around our son but he just couldn't care less to ask about how our son is doing + on top of that he doesn't really help out financially or carry out his responsibilities as the father to my son.. He only appeared in my son's life when he felt like it was convenient for him for example when our son is healthy & well he doesn't find time to appear acting as a father figure but when baby boy is in the hospital he just suddenly appears out of nowhere to visit our son then demandingly ask me to give baby boy to him when i just put our son to sleep & when i told him "no" snatched our son out of my hands aggressively. So should i let him be a part of our son's 1st birthday celebration on 11 march?

2024-02-29Hi Mummies, what will u guys do if this situation happened to your toddler? So to begin with, My daughter is in Nursery 2 in pcf sparkletots . Today she did tell me that her classmates push her till she fell down and she cried, her teacher console her and to my surprised my daughter told me that her teacher said to her DONT TELL MUMMY (FRIEND NAME) PUSH U OK. So what is her teacher motive? Why must she teach my daughter to tell lies and not be honest? Its already been like 2 3 times her classmates will push her , from different person but we just been keep quiet because we do understand its a kids and sometimes they are quite playful wanna play around with friends. Just that today, i cant expect her teacher teach her to lie and not be honest.
2024-02-29Hello! Just curious how much you guys give to relative / nanny for taking care of baby? Currently LO 3MO. We initially wanted government infant care when my ML ends but till now still no slot available (applied since 6 months ago lol). For private there is slot but it's around 2k + without subsidy. My mom suggested that she can help to take care and also wanted to take a break from work while we wait for infant care. So she quit her job and will start helping us soon. Btw she is only 54 this year.. Her boss allows her to go back anytime. She is taking around 2.1k before cpf. Initially, I quoted $800-$1k for her to take care of LO. Do note that she will be coming to our place daily (only mon to fri, PH and weekend excluded as we will take care baby ourselves) as our workplace is nearby (20mins via public transport hence not wise to travel all the way to mom place in the north to drop baby n go work - we no car btw).. She doesn't need to buy baby stuff as we will provide, and she doesn't need to do housework or cook as we have a helper and meals will be cooked for her. We also make sure there will always be food at home. My husband suggested 1.5k..he mentioned that he had rather let family member take care than sending infant care.. Hence we are gonna pay her that rate.. My mom did mention before that she has got no cpf if she helped us, + she is taking a pay cut.. but she also said any amount that's comfortable for us as money isn't an issue, and she really loves her grandchild. Just a note that my siblings and I give her allowance monthly and on top of that, my siblings help her to top up CPF. I'm just thinking if 1.5k is too much? Not sure of what is current nanny rate n their job responsibilities.
2024-02-29Hi mummies please help me out for not over thingking my LO is currently having a high fever on and off until now,She having fever 5th days already now,i taking her to the hospital already on her 2nd day of fever,Kk hospital gave her 2 kinds of medicine which is ibuprofen and paracetamol,igave the ibuprofen when her temp. Is 38.5 degree C and above when the paracetamol is never respond to her fever within 2 hours.My question is why her fever stay so high and never ever been going down😪😪😪i feel so sad for my poor little girl🥹🥹😭I am a first time mum is someone go through like this before?i am so stress in a whole day.Somemore when my husband go to work me and my LO in a whole day.Idont have someone to help me,i followed all the medication and how to taking care of fever baby,but why until now my LO never get well🥹😭😭😭#adviceplease #firsttimemom #newmom Help me 😭😭😭😢😢😢
2024-02-297weeks & 3days, here starts my morning sickness🤢 And I've been so sick pass 5days. Jus fever, flu, cough, phglem, you name it. Apparently immunity is compromised thru out pregnancy so that our body doesn't hurt our child thinkin to be foreign species. Doesn't that mean thru out pregnancy goin to be unwell ? 2024-03-01Just went for HCG count check this week and all was normal except for spotting and brown discharge. Was asked to take 4 duphaston tablets daily. Saw a small dark coloured clot flushed out today with same brown discharge again. Was initially reduced to light spotting but the dark brown bleeding seems slightly more on pantyliner now. Is it normal? Will try to see a gynae later

2024-03-02Any mummies struggling with breastfeeding? Am 21 PP FTM, am on/off getting clog/engorged, and everytime I didn't managed to clear it off myself. Seems like I am just not good with it. Sometimes it just got uncomfortable/sore or pain that I don't even feel like touching it anymore. Recently I have gotten a stubborn patch of clog, that caused me on/off having slight fever, even the lataction masseur couldn't clear it off 😔 told me have to clear few rounds as its been there for few days, told me to hot compress and massage need to apply pressure cannot soft touch, I tried, but it felt so sore, pain and don't really clear. Don't feel like touching it anymore, cause it's so not comfortable. And everytime calling in a lataction massage not an idea in the long run too.. Felt like giving up... Anyone were in a same situation like me?
