- 2024-12-23Hey mummies. I’m currently 20+ weeks and coughing for one week. The cough got worse, tried GP medication doesn’t work. Been coughing super badly until I visit the toilet a few times in an hour. During night time can’t sleep and visit the toilet as whenever I cough urine keep leaking. I’m a bit worry about my baby. Called KK they say more than 22 weeks need to go to delivery suite there. Is there anything to worry about and should I go to the delivery suite to see the doctor there? But the thing is I’m not a KK patient and my gynae is currently overseas.

- 2024-12-24I am currently at week 12 day 5, I am feeling my stomach is so bloated. Is that baby bump or bloated ? This is my first pregnancy.
- 2024-12-24Hi everyone. I am in a difficult situation. We gave set of keys to both our parents in case anything of emergency. With that, my father comes over almost everyday uninvited. I am okay with it but my spouse on the other hand thinks its rude and disrespectful. He wanted to tell my dad off but i stopped him as you know parents get sensitive as they age.
My spouse has repeatedly say he is going to tell him off but i do not want to ruin the already perfect relationship we have now as family/in laws.
I know i am wrong for stopping my spouse as this is his house too. But my dad only wanted to see his grandchildren. Just thats its abit too excessive😔
What should i do?
- 2024-12-24I thought I'm at week 6 based on my last period date but when I see the Gynae, she said its about 5 weeks. Did a virginal ultrasound and there's a York sac but that's all. Was prescripted Duphaston and a progesterone jab on the first visit and arranged another appt next week. Anyone experiencing the same thing ?
- 2024-12-24I'm currently taking pregnancy safe medicine prescribed by GP, but im worried about side effects on baby. Anyone knows if its ok to take antibiodics and panadol?

- 2024-12-24Hey mummy’s any recommendations for baby monitor
- 2024-12-24I first time pumping my breastmilk out but im not sure do i alternate giving baby bottle and direct latch every 3 hours ? Im not working and dont plan on working anytime soon so im wondering how do mummies feed your baby?
- 2024-12-24Got my 28 weeks check up and I lost almost 1kg of weight. Scan result says my baby is 1141g but im losing overall weight instead of gaining. Is it normal? Who else has the same experience as me? My pre pregnancy weight was about 68ishkg.. now im 69kg++.. im 30weeks now and i think im still losing/maintain my weight but i can see my tummy is getting bigger🤔
- 2024-12-24My LO is 19months old now & his poop tends to be mushy that causes it to leak out of his moony diaper pants. Im wondering if whats the best diaper so far to contain poonami?
- 2024-12-24I’m writing to seek some advice.
My 9 month old kid is currently attending an infant care centre near my place. The school has frequent cases of HFMD and conjunctivitis, despite their best efforts to step up their hygiene.
In the 5 months I’ve been sending my kid to infant care, there has been 3 times they’ve rejected my kid for getting spots, as they’re worried about potential HFMD. When I bring my kid to the doctor, they’ll just say that it doesn’t look like it yet, but instruct me to bring him back in 5 days time to check further. But in these 5 days, he can’t go to school because he’s being treated as potential HFMD. 5 days x 3 times = 15 days of no school. This is just a prominent one. There are also some when he just has runny nose when he’s cold and I’m also being asked to bring him home.
In the past week, this has been a breakdown of what happened:
Thursday: greenish mucus and sent back home after 1 hour (makes sense, this is ok)
Friday: potential red spots, rejected immediately at drop off
Monday: went polyclinic and found a nice doctor who said nope, just sensitive skin. Not hfmd and issued a memo saying as such and kid could go back ifc on the day itself.
Tuesday: eyes having greenish discharge, looks like conjunctivitis, to bring to doctor on Thursday to check and get a memo if all ok.
I’m a teacher in a secondary school and it is impossible to work from home. My husband is the same, he doesn’t have flexible working hours. We have limited leave days to take.
Other than getting a maid, or getting the help of relatives (they live very far away), could you share if you went through something similar, and how you solved your problems? TIA!
- 2024-12-25hey dearest mummies to be, can i know if anyone experience daily round ligament pain the moment they hit 2nd trimester? it’s been disrupting my sleep due to the “stitches” pain type of feeling, like when you’re done with a run? is it recommended to massage the area, or do we just power through it? 😭 would love any advise on this, thank you 💖
- 2024-12-25Hi Mommies,
Is it normal that my 5 months old baby refuse to eat solid food? I tried giving him diff types of puree but he doesnt like it :(
- 2024-12-25Due to personal reasons, I had severe depression during the time we first engaged tutor so had to cancel classes now and then as I couldn’t cope. Which I informed beforehand and apologised profusely for not being able to proceed with class. Even asked if the tutor would be okay to which the reply was “completely understand, dont worry too much”
Fast forward now. After everything ok for me, texted tutor twice on different occasions to continue but no response(3 weeks apart of each text)
I have a feeling that tutor no longer interested to teach us but my kid been asking about the tutor as comfortable with the teaching technique. Would it be wrong and seem desperate to contact the tutor again? Or can ask my kid to contact tutor instead?
Feel like unfair if tutor were to be upset and ghosted us coz my problem but when tutor was still teaching, he wasn’t punctual at all. Not 1 2 mins late but 30mins - 1 hr late and we still ok to change plans to fit tutor being late. Twice the tutor said on the way but an hour later we text, found out tutor slept and forgot about tuition. While kids, room all ready, snacks, hot tea been served.
- 2024-12-25Hi mummies. My 6 mth old baby like to shake his head side to side. Like saying no. Any mummies here also notice their babies do this? At what age? Is it normal..

- 2024-12-26Hey mummies to be, am a first time mum and have had nausea and daily vomiting, sometimes more than once a day. Tried to keep away from smell triggers but my daily commute to work requires me to walk past some food hawkers. Wearing a mask constantly. Have been having this vomiting and migraines since week 7 and even though it should get better in trimester 2, am still getting vomiting episodes at week 16. Migraines are more frequent too.
Any other mummies still experiencing nausea and migraines in tri 2?
Drinking icy cold water helps but will drinking it all the time risk my bb having asthma?
- 2024-12-26Hi Mummies, do you know usually how often will there be Mummy Market Baby Fair at Expo? The upcoming one is in Jan 2025. But just wondering when will the following one be, and how often.
Usually what’s the benefit of going baby fair? Are the prices for the products really better? Or more of getting a feel of the product itself?
- 2024-12-26SAHM; son turning 2 in Jan, 10m girl, currently pregnant. Hubby works part time for now but plans to start full time in Jan. We don't hv a hse yet. Now, Im staying with my mom, younger bro & my 2 kids in a 3rm while he stays with his mom. He would come over weekly n sometimes sleep at my mom's. I want to start working part time aft a few mth.
My mom's hse is at north. Her salary is less than 2.5k n bro is still a student. I'm planning to apply a sch at the north area.

- 2024-12-26I just experienced heavy bleeding yesterday night before falling asleep. Went to the hospital to check but doc could not find the source of bleeding and today it seems to have stopped. Is this normal?
First time being pregnant and being an overthinker definitely does not help.

- 2024-12-26My LO is 15 months old, and he's been rejecting his meals. He would probably have less than half a small bowl of porridge and stop. I've tried quite a number of ways to get him to eat, such as us adults eating with him, giving him more solid adult food eg rice and bread, adding snacks on his porridge to coax him to eat, changing up the cuisine type (Chinese, western, curry etc), pureeing his food until they're mush, letting him feed himself, feeding him, letting him play while eating etc. And he rejects them all after a short while. Now even his ifc teachers are saying tt he doesn't eat much in school, while he would eat a lot previously.
Does anyone have any idea how to make toddlers eat more? Please tell me this is a phase tt will pass soon,I'm at my wits end.
- 2024-12-26SAHM here; son turning 2 in Jan, 10m girl, currently pregnant. Hubby works part time for now but plans to start full time in Jan. We don't hv a hse yet. I stay with my mom, younger bro & my 2 kids in a 3rm while he stays with his uncle. He would come over weekly n sometimes sleep at my mom's. We plan to apply rental aft him working abt 3-4months, we both don't hv enuf cpf.We want to be independent and hv own hse as our kids are growing n needed space. I plan to put my son in sch n eventually my girl. So that I can focus on my baby n recover. I want to start working part time aft recovery. If possible I wanted to put my kids in sch quickly, so I can work part time while pregnant n go appt. If not I will work aft recovery from birth. Im scared part time jobs don't take pregnant lady.
My mom's hse is at north. Her salary is less than 2.5k n bro is still a student. I'm planning to apply a sch at the north area.
I have heard of a friend's friend had to pay abt 300-400 for sch fees(husb working, wife SAHM) I'm worried abt sch fees n any other fees like uniform.

- 2024-12-27Has anyone experience no period for more than 10 days of your expected day of menses but also with false negative pregnancy test for that entire period with no menses?
Cuz I'm currently experiencing this and this was my first time it happened. Yes, I do had sexual intercourse before recently and with no contraception used. Was actually hoping to see positive result or even a faint positive line but don't want to be too hopeful yet disappointed too.
So would appreciate if anyone can share if you had the same experience before or recently, and what was the result?
Seek for an advice 💜🙏🏻
- 2024-12-27Hi mummies!
Just would like to ask for your opinions and advise on my experience that I'm currently facing.
I am fairly regular in my period cycles, however I am 13 days late for my period from the expected day of my cycle. Not sure if it's part of the symptom of early pregnancy cuz people say that every pregnancy is different and when I conceived my first born 2 years ago, it wasn't like this. This is the first time I experience such case.
Before my expected day of period cycle this month, I had a sudden high body temperature, thinking I was having a fever but with no other fever symptoms such as cough, flu and etc. So it was just a sudden high body temperature that increase and decreases in 3 days. Following after I had "recovered", I had nausea and strong sense of smell at times especially there was once when I entered my bedroom and it smelled like a strong medicine smell, but only I smelled it when none of my family members including my husband did.
Then at times, I had this funny feeling in my tummy like I felt before during my first pregnancy... It feels like something is moving in my tummy. But I brushed off the thoughts from my mind cuz my tummy is still flat so it can't be right.. Also I had acne breakouts more than before and now started craving. What makes me more confused is that I had these weird symptoms but after 13 days of late period, still tested *Negative for pregnancy test*.
My husband is pretty worried as well. We went to Poly last week to check up incase their medical stuff can detect for any possibilities but unfortunately it is still tested negative.
So I would kindly ask for any super mummies advice or opinions about this🙏🏻 Thank you so much 😭🙏🏻
