Note:
- She had her 15-month vaccination on Friday noon.
- She also has had a loss of appetite and has not really been drinking her milk very well.
- She’s been very cranky and clingy
- 2024-11-26I am currently a public patient at NUH, currently at week 32. I am planning to go for a specialist after week 36, as I prefer to have a certain doctor for delivery due to some personal reasons.
I understand that I will become a private patient once I choose doctor and thus the clinic charges will go up, but I am a bit confused about how it’s gonna affect the delivery charges.
Are there any mommies who did like this? I really would appreciate any information on this. #pregnancy

- 2024-11-27Feeling guilty as we haven't really started feeding solids to my 8 months old baby. He ate one or twice then stopped and feed occasionally. When he is fed puree, he kinda don't know how to swallow or just spit out.. the reason the delay was that he was having cough then later diarrhea and now recovered. But lately he vomits one or 2 times a day. We don't know what is happening, going to the doctors.
If compared to no.1, I'm afraid he is delayed in his milestones.. but also know that boys might develop later? Idk, feels v guilty
- 2024-11-27Anyone have any idea that if we do ligation after 2nd child we are given extra money ? Is it true ? And can we do during giving birth as csect as i was told by the doctor that if i were to have 3rd child in future it will be very very risky for both baby n mum ....
- 2024-11-27Am I the only one feeling this way.
I am tired and exhausted. I am crying now, somehow I can’t stop crying. I am 32 weeks pregnant and have gestational diabetes. I need to go to office and my body feel exhausted everyday.
Today my diabetes nurse called me regarding my readings. She told me I must reduce my food intake. I told her there is an 8 hour gap between my meals so I need extra snacks, all I ate in that time window was few cashew nuts , an apple and 2 thin biscuits. She flatly said I can just eat an apple and that’s it. She talked to me as if I am not not taking care of my baby. It was really sad for me. I am eating the same foods everyday as there are only few things that controls my sugar level.
I am hungry every evening after work and travel still I don’t eat anything extra so my sugar levels will be under control. Also go for walks as my doctor said so that my sugar levels can be controlled. I feel tired everyday. After all this to be scolded and listen to her saying that I am eating too much is hard for me.
Please don’t judge me, I just wanted to talk to someone, because I can’t stop crying. I believe there will be more people who experience worse here and be able to talk to me.

- 2024-11-27I’ve been feeling frustrated with my mother-in-law lately. I’m on maternity leave until next year, and my baby is now 2 months old, almost 3 months. Ever since I gave birth, my MIL would often ask to come over to see the baby. Because I’m always at home and my husband is self-employed. However, every week, she would asks us to come over at least twice, which is starting to feel overwhelming because I really need my rest.
When we visit her, she tends to take my baby away into another room for hours. For example, we were there for 6 hours, and during that time, she didn’t want to return the baby to me, even though she was crying. As a mom, it’s really hard to hear my baby cry and not be able to comfort her. When my baby cries, it means she needs me, even if family members are trying to soothe her. I feel like my MIL doesn’t always recognize that and tries to comfort the baby herself instead of giving her back to me. I understand she wants to help and “give me a break”, but the longer my baby is away from me, the more anxious I become.
I’ve told my husband that I’d prefer to have the baby back when she’s upset, but he says I should give his mom a chance to play with her. Has anyone else experienced this? How do you deal with situations like this?

- 2024-11-27My LO is 15 mths, we shampoo her once 1 day, is it too often?
- 2024-11-27I had some blood mucus spotting exactly at 40weeks. Went for check and was suggested induce as was having Braxton hicks. During induce, no dilation but there were severe contraction pains. Doctor monitored and informed that baby heartbeat is not looking well. Had an emergency csect. And doctor informed that baby has pooped too. There goes my painful birth story. Even though ive been active throughout my pregnancy and was doing all the exercises im disappointed that i couldnt get dilated even 1cm. Now recovering from csect is just hard not able to take care of myself nor mu baby. Im emotionally down and im in pain and feeling so humbled that i need help to walk and go to toilet even. #firsttimemom #birthstory #RespectMyPost #1stymom #caesaraen

- 2024-11-28Hi, has anyone done NIPT in Singapore? I am having my prenatal check-up at a private clinic in Singapore, and they have offered Harmony and Panorama as options. Does anyone know what the differences are and which is the more popular choice?
- 2024-11-28I'm 36 and had a miscarriage when I was 32. We decided to try again in 2024. Here's a short comparison between this and my last pregnancy at 6 weeks.
Compared to my last pregnancy, at 6 weeks I'm a lot more nauseous and have not had any bleeding. The last time I miscarried, i had bleeding and the fetus had a slow heart beat and my hcg was also low. I ended up mc at 10 weeks and had D&C at 11 weeks as it didn't come out.
This time around, the fetus seems normal with Heartbeat at 130. Fetus at 3.15mm. I'm exactly 6 weeks from the 1st day of last period. And the baby is also 6 weeks old based on scan. However I think everyone is different and some may have a different gestational age on the scanning.
Hoping everything goes well along with anyone else who had a miscarriage before :) and who is anxious about being older.

He also has a lot of spit up (legit will be all over the floor) after feeds if he drinks. He sleep well and is pooping/peeing normally. Any advices from the mamas here? Should we bring him to see a pd?

Would it be ok to request to have HL from week 37 or 38 onwards? Not too sure if being tired is an acceptable reason for HL… FYI, im seeing Dr at NUH.
