2024-10-28Me and my wife is about to divorce and part of the cause was money issue. So guys help me up how much should I give? Wife and kids stay in my law house with in law care (4yo, 6mo) and I not staying with them using mil electric or water bill. I didnt study hard so my salary won’t be flying high. I 1 day already work 18hr full time and part time. Full time 2.9k before cpf Part time 800 fix I give my wife $500 w $2k limit CC House coming so force myself put 1k for saving How much balance I left ? Weekend outing bill mostly under me. Baby milk powder and diaper most my dad sometime me and my wife So how much should I really need to give my wife and mil? I guess my wife also pressure by mil about money issue.

2024-10-28As much as I know I should be strong, but I'm still a human and I still have slight trauma of giving birth to my 1st in 2023. I took epidural last minute when the pain was unbearable although i tried to avoid it (also because I heard and have relatives who had bad experiences with epi). So now that I'm expecting my 2nd, my colleague told me better to take epi again since I've took it before and had no side effects. But, i'm still worried. May I know what are yall experiences, for those who have 2nd child and above? How was your delivery experiences and is it better to go ahead with epidual again? #Second_Baby
2024-10-28My MIL is extremely overbearing and annoying. She forces her way into my room when I’m breastfeeding even when my husband repeatedly told her twice we don’t want her in the room cause she say she don’t see what’s wrong. She likes to give me a lecture on how to take care of my own baby (how I should hold the bottle, what confinement nanny I hire, how I should dress him) and keeps buying me shit I don’t need cause she thinks those things she buy (like clothes) are “better” for baby. She literally even gave me a lecture 1hr after I gave birth cause I was drinking plain water instead of red date tea in the hospital. And she also constantly turn up at my house uninvited. I hate her so much and every single thing she do irks me now. My husband knows that i am at my limit but he is obviously sandwiched between and I don’t want to make things ugly too. But she doesn’t get the hint and keeps pushing my buttons. How do you deal with someone like her?!!!?
2024-10-28Im currently 36weeks2days. And my baby is still in breech position and doc say she will do one last scan next week to see if baby will be head down if not i need to plan for a csection. Is there any possible way that my baby could turn head down position?i really hoping to give birth naturally😭😭😭

2024-10-28Hi all, not sure if I’m being too paranoid. My baby is one week old and has been extra awake in the middle of the night and it can take about 2hours to put her back to sleep. She sleeps very well in the day and just awake in the middle of the night. Is this normal? Or is there a way to fix this? #FTM

Suddenly now both same amount and sometimes left is more than the right... is this normal? Also if it is not, how can i increase my milk supply back? Thank you.....

2024-10-29Hi I'm a 22yo SAHM, with a 21m boy and a 8m girl. I just did a pregnancy test as I'm late of 2weeks period and feeling a bit of stomach discomfort. Turns out it was positive. Currently, we are staying at my mom's house and planning to apply rental hdb by next year. Our finances for these 2-3 months is a bit tight. My husband asked me if I wanted to abort or keep and understand our current situation if I wanted to abort. I feel so lost. I know that if we keep the baby we have to be ready to face the situation of raising the baby along with my 2 other kids. But at the same time, I feel that if I were to abort, I would feel guilty about it and maybe It will make me emotional and affect my other 2 kids. I feel like I won't be mentally stable to take care of my 2 kids if I abort :( I'm already feeling emotional and my hands are shaking just thinking about it. I was planning to register my 2 kids to childcare and receive some subsidies while I go and look for a job and help out my husband. If I decide to keep the baby and after giving birth, I plan to use the patch as a birth control. Pls don't judge me the only birth control I used before was just condom. I know it's not easy raising a kid but my husband and I are willing to work extra hard to save as much money as we can while waiting for the baby and our rental house. We are willing to do whatever it takes to raise our children properly without asking help from our family. Pls help to advice. (Extra: If any Muslims reading this pls advice) Also, i wanna know as a muslim what is the view on abortion regarding my situation whether if it's permissible or should I keep and try my best to take good care/help my husband with finance?

2024-10-29I’m in week36 now and muscle cramps from the back of my buttocks started only this week. It strikes only at the middle of the night. The position of the cramp makes it difficult to stretch the muscle to get relieve. I’ve been on calcium-fortified soya milk and iron tablets since the second trimester. Any other remedies?

2024-10-30Im currently at 8 weeks pregnant and I am worried I will miss the chance to do some tests that can only be done during 1st trimester. Have not gone for any pre-natal appointment as I only found out I am pregnant at 7 weeks. This is my first time being pregnant after trying for 4 years and I am worried if pregnancy is viable or not. I have been consuming over the counter folic acid from watsons, 500mg + 800mg, is that too much? Thank you!

2024-10-30Tested positive last week and sore nipples started. Other than that no other obvious symptom. No nausea, morning sickness. Is it ok? First doc appointment next week. Feeling anxious as I had a missed miscarriage last year.
2024-10-30Did FTS at KKH last week and result out that I have higher risk of Trisomy 18. 1:171. Doctor recommend me to go for NIPT or wait till 20th week for the scan. Went ahead with NIPT. Need to wait for 2 weeks for the result. So worried now. My first pregnancy. Week 12+6 now

2024-10-30Is it a normal that husbands become lazy and non present once the wife gives birth? My husband does not share any household chores like washing clothes or cooking his or the baby's food. He is always at home because of leave but refused to contribute in any way. Now he has a surgery, even more so an excuse of not helping at all. As for baby necessities, he is very stingy with purchases and I use most of my money to buy baby's things. No choice I have to stay as a working mom so that I can be financially independent but I still need to take care of both baby and household. He whole day jus play with his handphone, or drink alcohol at night, or quarrel with me over money matters. I thought of separation but I had chosen him my own family so I can't go back to my parents anymore. I thought of marriage counselling, but he refused. Shld I even consider single parenting and divorce? #help #advicepls #nojudgement

2024-10-30Hi, my girl is 8 months this year. Believe she caught a virus at her infant care and having diarrhoea. We have been cleaning her and changing her diapers often, not sure if it is what causes her nappy rashes to worsen. Understand that we should keep the area clean at all time. FTM here, I am not sure if I should not put on diapers for her at the moment (worry it may expose her to more bacteria), because she’s getting very and super irritated and cranky every single time we change and wash her down, and also her rashes does not seem to subside. On a side note, we bought her to clinic and were told to continue upkeep hygiene and also to continue to apply diaper cream on her (as per usual), but apparently we realise it worsen as the day goes. Seeking some advice for any parents that have any suggestions or any experience on it. Thanks much in advance.

2024-10-31Did a pregnancy test recently. Had a weird dream just a few days before I found out I was pregnant. It was an unplanned pregnancy and we alrd have 2 kids. Financial wise it's a bit tough for a 3rd baby. In that dream, I was at the hospital in pain. Beside me was a doctor and my husband (unsure if my husband, wasn't clear in the dream). But I clearly saw a doctor was holding a fetus that was still developing but it was black and there was blood. The doctor asked me if I wanted to see. I said no because I was emotional of losing a baby. The doc forced me to see the unborn baby. I was crying so badly but the doc still force and showed the fetus right Infront of my face. And I woke up from the dream aft that. I was confused if it was a sign of anything. Any islamic/general views on this ?

2024-11-02Hi, my genitals area have gotten a lot darker than usual ever since I became pregnant. Im talking 3-4 shades darker and it’s quite unsightly (in my own personal opinion) I was wondering if this was normal because I’m worried it’s a sign of GD? I’m taking the test in 2 weeks but can’t help noticing the dark areas. Is anyone going through the same thing? For context, I’m Chinese but I’m not fair skinned.

2024-11-02Hi. I’m going into my 36 weeks soon and I went for my usual routine scan yesterday. (35+5). Gynae says that baby is measuring small at about 2.2kg :( my previous scan at 31weeks, baby was around 1.5kg. So she said baby’s growth is slow and should be more than 2.5kg by now. she also told me that it’s not because I’m not eating enough because blood test shows that it’s my placenta “ageing” earlier than expected. She suggested inducing my baby at 38 weeks if baby’s growth is stagnant due to my incompetent placenta. Any advices or anyone who went through the same thing as me?

2024-11-02Currently my toddler n baby are drinking the fairprice gold brand. My toddler has been drinking it well so far. But for my baby, recently she's not pooping as often and constipated. She drank the 0-6m n had no problems but constipated when she's 8m. Wouldn't poop abt 2-4 days, when she poop she would cry n sweating. I was thinking it was the cause of the milk. I was thinking to switch to either lactogen or dugro. Also, should I switch my toddler's milk? These 2 months, I find it a bit tight to continue with the fairprice brand.
