- 2024-09-23KKh says this will be my bill size for A1 ward with a normal delivery. I'm giving birth in Nov.
Last time, there was no need to make payment online. Now, we can make payment before delivery.
- 2024-09-23I’m 11 weeks now and have been experiencing very bad nausea ever since I found out I was pregnant. My appetite was so bad that I could only stomach certain kinds of food that are mild tasting and “safe”. I can’t eat too much at one go too, I will feel very sick. So I get hungry every 1-3hrs. Sometimes I even get hungry 15mins after a meal. There is one food that I will always crave and can manage to finish the portion. That is my favourite cup noodle. So far I’ve been eating it 1-2 times a week. I know I’m not supposed to as per reading online, but sometimes I get so hungry and crave for that. I will ask my gynae when I see her next week. But I’m just wondering if any of you guys have the same cravings and how much of instant noodle do you eat.
- 2024-09-23Hi im af 21 weeks now and i have the constant night cramps and its really painful. Is that ok?
- 2024-09-23Can testing too early (8-9days) before period due date causes inconsistent results? Meaning to say today you see a very very faint line almost close to none, but the next day there is no line at all? Following day you probably see a very very faint line but again, you need to shine a torch to see that very very faint line..
- 2024-09-23Hi! First time mom here, there are still no signs of labour for me , I’m scared that I might continue on to 41 weeks and if asked to induce labour. Any advise. I still prefer natural birth
- 2024-09-23Is it normal to resent my MIL? I gave birth to my LO this year and things went downhill ever since then. At first our rs, pre baby was fine. She literally minded her own business.
It took me a while to have a baby because my husband and I planned for it. My MIL started saying things that I could be the problem we are still childless, I should go do this and that. It made me cry but I just passed it off as, she meant well. Which I do believe she did. Who doesn’t want a grandchild.
Bla bla bla. I got pregnant. And honestly, she doesn’t give a damn about me LOL. I only had my family and husband.
Anyway, when I gave birth. My entire new mother experience was ripped away from me because she turned up at the hospital almost immediately after I gave birth with many other people. She was selfish, very selfish. She held onto the baby, and made sure her people all touched the baby. She also forced people to carry my baby and ask them to kiss the baby. Mind you, she came so early, I didn’t even had the chance to carry my baby till night time when everyone left.
Anyway, during postpartum, she did so many things that hurt my feelings and I can’t look past it. She thinks she is the best mother better than anyone else and best part, she didn’t even take care of her children when they were young LOL.
Now, whenever we don’t visit her, she throw sarcastic remarks. Actually wanted to visit her more often but guess what, whatever I do is wrong in her eyes. She question my every action. Why this why that. Im open to hearing opinions and learning but everything I do is wrong. I dread being there. But I know my husband is sad about it.
My MIL also say shit things to my mother. One if it is acting like my mother doesn’t know how to take care of me and my child.
Now I try to like just be there when I have to and have small talks. I hate being there. I hate being her DIL. I don’t like her at all.
She makes me feel depressed 😔

- 2024-09-23I am 37 week 4day pregnant , do babies get less active around this period? I can barely feel his movement throughout the days , took out the Doppler and could detect heartbeat. Is it something I should be worried about ?
- 2024-09-23My sil gave birth yesterday, and my husband told me to visit since it's what a family should do.
I gave birth twice, but none of the times she visited me in hospital. Both times were not during covid, and there's no restriction.
Am I being unreasonable by not wanting to visit ?
- 2024-09-23I keep seeing a lot of people share that their babies go to sleep between 6-8pm, but my 3.5mo baby wakes up at 7am and sleeps around 10pm everyday. He gets around 5 hrs day time nap and sleeps through the night (at most 1 very short feed)
Is this normal? And for experienced mummies, did the bedtime move up at a certain age?
I tried to shift his routine to earlier before but he couldn't fall asleep. also didn't hit his milk intake for the day

- 2024-09-24My child is over two years old but still can't speak. He likes to babble, but I don’t know what he's saying. He also isn't able to express what he wants very well yet.......... Even though I often talk to him or teach him words for objects or animal names, sometimes he can only say one word. Do you worry about this, mom? It makes me sad when he is compared to others who are already good at talking, even though they're younger than him. Has any other mom experienced this? What’s the solution? Is it my fault?????????????
- 2024-09-24Just found out ytd that i'm pregnant! The line was so dark and it came up immediately. According to flo, i'm 5w3d based on Lmp. - 2024-09-25I have 2 boys (3 & 4yo) and I’m currently pregnant with #3. The reason I wanted to ask around is because my symptoms for #3 are so different from #1 & #2. My confinement lady told me maybe I’m having a girl from the symptoms I’m experiencing. I’m happy with either a boy or a girl and I’m not very superstitious but let’s hear what are your experiences! 😆
Baby #1 :
- Bad nausea & heart burn (nausea subsided after 4m)
- Minimal and slow weight gain (gained 12kg total)
- tummy shape is pointy
Baby #2
- slightly better nausea symptoms
- minimal and slow weight gain (gained 13kg total)
- tummy shape is pointy
Baby #3 (current)
- horrible nausea during month 1 & 2, had to be doing bed rest most of the time. Very bad appetite.
- immense hunger… every 1-2hrs after a meal hungry again
- Pimple galore 😂 never had pimples like that even through puberty
- Quicker weight gain, even though I’m not eating much?! 😂 (gained 2kg so far at 11weeks)
- 2024-09-25My girl is turning 15 months next week but she can’t walk independently yet. She can walk while holding onto furniture but my PD says she’s a little slow. Is this normal?
- 2024-09-25I've been having this dull pain in my lower stomach and wanting to go to the toilet to poop but nothing comes out.
It's been like this for the past 2 days, and I'm just wondering if the labour is nearing ?
Currently 34 weeks. Seems too early.

What about induce labour ward charges? Is it claimable with our own medisave (since we are also saying for more than 8 hours, for normal hospitalisation also can claim medisave so what about induce labour ward charges??) is it can claim more than the cap amount from the maternity package?

Anyone have this issue before? How long you get conceived again.
- 2024-09-25I'm thinking of open communication with your kid, and proceeding from there seems to be a better approach in the long run.
I am asking since some of the parents suggested I should be more demanding and give punishments so that kid will learn which sounds harsh in my opinion.

- 2024-09-26Went in for a U/S today at 5w5d. Managed to see the gestational sac and nothing else. Sac was measuring exactly 5w5d. Have seen some people being able to see fetal pole n yoke sac at 5w5d. Next appt would be Wed where i'll be 6w4d. Do i need to be worried? So far no bleeding. There's some sort of symptoms like on and off tender boobs, bloating and gassy, mild nausea?
- 2024-09-26I'm a first time mom so everything is new to me and i am feeling anxious, scared and excited too. But I constantly think of miscarriage, like i will go through it sooner or later. Or if I make it to the end of the journey, I would die while giving birth. I'm usually a positive person, but throughout my journey I'm so opposite. I don't know how to make myself believe that things will be alright and both me and the baby will make it through yknow. Has anyone else gone through such a negative minded space too? How do you overcome it? 😭

- 2024-09-28My son takes a really long time to sleep despite having a set routine of him playing his toys, shower time, milk and getting into bed
We can be in bed and all tucked in at 10pm and he’ll only fall asleep at like 12am earliest. If I start our bedtime at 9pm, he continues to stay awake until 12am or fastest 11.30pm
Is there a way I can shorten this window?

- 2024-09-28I’m 25 weeks pregnant today and starting to feel the water retention on both hands and legs. Anyone knows how to tackle this issue? My legs get itchy and lack of blood flow at night, whereas both my hands feel sore throughout the day :(
- 2024-09-28After 4 weeks of paternal leave, my husband he’s now back at work, and I’m left handling our newborn on my own. My mother-in-law only helps with bathing the baby after she comes home around 1 PM. Although I know how to bathe my baby, I let her do it because I think sometimes elderly people just want to feel needed.
However, my mother-in-law can be extremely toxic when she’s in a bad mood.
1. She often makes unnecessary comments, like when I turn on the bathroom light during the day to brush my teeth, saying things like, “Why do you need the light? It’s still bright outside!” (even though the bathroom is completely dark with the door closed).
2. One time, my newborn’s shirt had a stain, and she told me to clean it, saying, “Don’t let my son do it, he has to work. You’re just at home, and you can rest, but he can’t.”
3. During my first week of confinement, I was in pain and couldn’t walk much. When my husband brought my meals to the room, she criticized, saying, “Why can’t she eat in the living room?”
4. She insists that newborns don’t get hot, yet when my baby got a heat rash, it was clear that he was uncomfortable. Babies are human, why wouldn’t they feel hot?
5. She always wants my baby to wear the same few outfits she bought (she only bought three), insisting they be worn repeatedly, even though I have plenty of clothes for him.
6. When my baby is fussy and cries, she’ll say things like, “Give him a pacifier,” or “Pat him,” (which I’m already doing). I have my own ways of calming him, but she constantly interferes.
7. She has a granddaughter who comes over, screaming loudly, and it disrupts my baby’s sleep. She prioritizes her granddaughter, but when my husband is home, she acts as though she’s deeply concerned about my son, wanting to hold him even when he’s peacefully sleeping.
8. I’m feeding my baby formula, and she made a comment about his tongue being white, saying it’ll stay white in the future. When my husband’s friends visited, she casually mentioned to them that I don’t have breast milk, as if it’s something shameful.
I’m struggling to cope with her toxic remarks. Her words hurt me deeply, and it’s affecting me. I’m also someone’s daughter, and if my mom knew what was happening, she’d be heartbroken. I don’t even dare tell her about it.
- 2024-09-28Hi mummies!

- 2024-09-28I’m 37w pregnant now and a have history of getting recurring yeast infection even before pregnancy but gynae also mentioned it’s very normal to be prone to it during pregnancy.
My gynae has been prescribing GYNO TRAVOGEN suppository throughout my entire pregnancy (probably happened 5-6x within 9 months) 😭😭😭 and this specific medicine always ITCHES me to death (like literal torture) minimum 48 hours and then a burning sensation follows 😭😭😭
I’ve told my gynae this but she mentioned it’s the only meds that works well so I just got to bear with it.
I’ve tried to seek for alternate treatment with another gynae and it’s true the other suppository didn’t solve my problem 😭
I’m desperate for a treatment but at the same time don’t want to constantly itch and burn for days due to medication. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this please? Thank you.

- 2024-09-28I am a FTM and just gave birth recently. I'm not sure about how long I can sustain in providing BM to my baby. My supply is fairly ok, but I feel quite drained out. Is anyone else in the same shoes as me? Did u change to full FM eventually, and if it's ideal?
- 2024-09-28My newborn hiccups when he sleep. Do I wake him up to burp him or let him continue sleep?
- 2024-09-28When did your baby start facing down during your pregnancy? I heard it's anywhere between weeks 32-37. and How do you know if your baby is finally facing down, ready for delivery? I'm Week 31 and went for my recent checkup and my gynae told me my baby is not facing down yet. If she doesn't face down within 4 weeks, I'll have to go for C-section. But I absolutely don't want to do C-section. Would anyone have an idea of how to figure out if the baby is facing down or how to make the baby face down?
