- 2024-05-13Hi #f1rstimemom here! I am experiencing some inner thigh and groin pain. I am only in week 11. Is that normal?
- 2024-05-13Hello fellow mummies.
My baby spit up quite a lot after feed after that she kept crying and wanting more. Her head turns towards my breast and mouth wide open. After I offered, she spit up awhile later again. Isn't she overfed already? 😵💫
- 2024-05-13The battery whether it meets the approved guidelines.. thanks
- 2024-05-13Hehe has most mummies in May gave birth already? Hehehe am still waiting for my turn :) but at the same time excited to hear from you all :)
- 2024-05-13Hihi FTM here. My baby keep wanting to latch on even after feeding. I'm worried about overfeeding. Once I removed my breast, baby cry.. what should I do..?
- 2024-05-13My LO can sleep for 3hrs-4hrs per 90ml of FM.
However I notice LO tends to cry for milk every 2hrs if i feed him 50ml of BM and 40ml of FM... and doesn't feel full after feeding.
Is there any ratio to bm:fm? Am I feeding him correctly?
- 2024-05-13So so much excited… 20 weeks done today ❤️❤️
- 2024-05-13I'm pregnant, already in the third trimester. My belly is quite big now and visible... I panicked so much, Mom. Earlier, I woke up on my stomach... yes, my belly was underneath 😭 I immediately cried and asked to be taken to the hospital for a check-up. I don't know how long I was lying on my stomach???
But thankfully, my baby is okay. The doctor really advised avoiding this sleeping position, especially with a big belly. It could've caused my baby can't get enough oxygen 😭
Has anyone experienced something similar?
- 2024-05-13Mom, is it normal if my baby (4.5 months old) breastfeeds very rarely, mostly only 5 times a day... he's not very active, he refuses to breastfeed unless it's his feeding schedule. He's very skinny compared to other babies his age... I'm worried but confused about what to do. My mother and husband say we don't need to go to the doctor for now. After all, he's not sick. But I'm still not at ease because my baby rarely cries too.
- 2024-05-13Mom, my baby (7.5 months old) has started standing up and pulling objects to stand. I was really surprised because I didn't expect him to do that at his age. In fact, a few times I've seen him able to walk while holding onto my/ his father's hand. Will my baby be walking soon?
I'm worried if this is too early or normal? Has anyone experienced this?
- 2024-05-13Mom... I'm really worried. My child is almost 1 year old (11 months) and still can't stand up... can sometimes stand with support, but still falls often. Not to mention standing, even when supported, they cry and just want to sit down. It's like they're scared. Why is that, mom... I want to take them to a pediatrician, but last time I went, I was scolded for supposedly not providing enough stimulation and not caring for my child. It's exhausting to be judged constantly.
has anyone experienced the same?
- 2024-05-13Is it true that if both parents are tall, our child will also grow tall? Until now, compared to children of the same age, they do appear taller although not significantly.
- 2024-05-13Hi there.. have anyone went through Amniocentesis testing? Care to share your experience?
- 2024-05-13Mom, I'm really worried. I've noticed that my baby seems to be struggling to breathe at times. They also seem lethargic... and their lips look a bit bluish. There's a family history of congenital heart disease, but I don't have it. Could it have been passed on to my baby?
- 2024-05-13I just want to share my appreciation for my in-laws...
They're really kind, even though I never expected anything from them. I used to be the type who just wanted everything to be peaceful, without any conflicts.
But my mother-in-law is really kind, she always asks if I need her help. My parents are far away. She always asks me what I'd like her to cook for me. She always asks if her son treats me well. She always jokes that if her son (my husband) doesn't treat me well, I should kick him (of course, she says this jokingly). She always says not to worry about her because her happiness is her husband's responsibility. She often refuses if we want to give her money or take her out.
I've come to believe that not all in-laws are mean. I'm very lucky to have met them and to have them as my in-laws. Thank you to my husband for marrying me, so I have in-laws like them!

- 2024-05-13Tried everything but still feeling nauseous all the time and throw up occasionally. Any tips/help?
- 2024-05-13Hi ladies. I am now 18 weeks.
In my 17wks I start feeling fluttering like feeling frm belly. Haha
Anyone felt any of such yet ? 🥰
- 2024-05-13Gastric discomfort
- 2024-05-13Not gaining weight
- 2024-05-14I'm in my week 14+. I feel nausea everyday and vomit quite abit even though gynae prescribed me meds to take. I feel very lonely in this pregnancy, like no one understands me and what i am going through.
I have lost 8+kg. I do feel depressed at times.
I am not sure what to do to help myself out of this situation. Help mummies!
- 2024-05-14Just tested positive for pregnancy via test kits, but I do not have any symptoms, unlike my first time. Is this normal?
P.S. first time pregnancy was a missed miscarriage earlier this year.
Any advice from mummies here that have similar situation?
- 2024-05-14
- 2024-05-14Since giving birth, I don't know why I often feel lonely. It's like... many people don't understand the new sides of me that have emerged. Outwardly, I still laugh, can chat, maybe seem just fine. But deep down... I feel alone in facing all of this. The transition from being a wife to being a mother. It feels really strange to me. My priorities have changed. I become lazy to meet friends and prefer to play with my child. I know it's my choice. But still, it feels lonely...
anyone ever felt the same way? how do you cope with it?
- 2024-05-14agree. especially after giving birth... i think we can never sleep the same way we did before. right, mama?????
- 2024-05-14After reading an article... it said that if a child enjoys flapping hands (repetitive hitting movements), it's one of the signs of autism. Is that true... I sometimes see my child doing movements like that. But he's only 7 months old? People around me say not to worry too much because he's still a baby and still exploring his motor skills. But as a mother, I'm really worried. Any advice or anyone have similar experiences?
- 2024-05-14My husband always asks for sex every day. Literally every night. I wonder if he's not tired from work??? I'm at home, you know... Sometimes I do feel tired but I feel bad if I don't say yes to my husband. I've even politely declined, but he still "insists" 😂 but seriously, is this normal? I'm a bit worried that if I don't say yes to him, he'll seek satisfaction elsewhere...
- 2024-05-14I'm a new mom and I've been experiencing some worries lately about my baby's development. My little one is reaching the age where they should be hitting certain milestones, but I can't shake off the feeling that something might be wrong.
I've noticed a few things that concern me, particularly when it comes to their responsiveness and interaction with their surroundings. Sometimes, my baby seems less engaged compared to other infants their age. I've been reading about signs of intellectual disabilities, and some of them seem to match what I'm observing.
I know every child develops at their own pace, but I can't help but feel anxious. Has anyone else experienced similar concerns with their baby's development? How did you cope with it? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
- 2024-05-14Special grooming needs vary greatly among different cat breeds due to differences in coat type, length, and texture. Understanding these unique requirements is essential for maintaining a cat’s health and appearance.
Whether you’re a cat owner grooming your feline friend at home or a professional cat groomer in Singapore, tailoring your approach to
suit the specific needs of each breed ensures a positive grooming experience for both the cat and the groomer.
Long-haired breeds, such as Persians, Maine Coons, and Ragdolls, require frequent grooming to prevent mats, tangles, and excessive shedding. Regular brushing is crucial for removing loose fur, preventing mats from forming, and distributing natural oils throughout the coat.
For such, a cat grooming Singapore routine that includes daily brushing with a wide-toothed comb or slicker brush helps keep their coats in optimal condition is necessary. In addition to brushing, long-haired breeds may benefit from occasional baths to remove dirt, debris, and excess oils from their coats. When bathing these cats, it’s important to use a gentle cat-specific shampoo and thoroughly rinse to avoid skin irritation. After bathing, carefully dry the cat with a towel or low-heat blow dryer to prevent chilling and matting of the fur.
Short-haired breeds, such as Siamese, Bombay, and British Shorthair cats, also require regular grooming to maintain healthy coats and minimize shedding. While they may not need as much brushing as long-haired breeds, they still benefit from weekly cat grooming sessions to remove loose fur and reduce the risk of hairballs. A soft-bristled brush or
grooming glove is ideal for gently removing dead hair and stimulating the skin.
Certain breeds, such as Sphynx and Devon Rex cats, have unique grooming needs due to their lack of fur or fine, curly coats. Despite their hairless appearance, these cats still require regular grooming to maintain skin health and remove excess oils. Bathing with a mild, hypoallergenic shampoo is essential for keeping their skin clean and free of debris.
Additionally, applying a moisturizing lotion or oil helps prevent dryness and irritation. For breeds with folded or excessive skin, such as Scottish Folds and Exotic Shorthairs, extra care must be taken during their grooming to avoid skin infections and irritation. Regularly
inspecting and cleaning the skin folds, especially around the face and tail, helps prevent moisture buildup and bacterial growth. Using a damp cloth or gentle pet wipes to clean these areas can help maintain skin health and prevent odor.
In conclusion, understanding the special grooming needs of different cat breeds is essential for providing proper care and maintaining their health and well-being. Whether cat grooming at home, tailoring grooming techniques to suit the specific requirements of each
breed ensures a positive grooming experience for both the cat and the groomer. By investing time and effort into regular grooming, cat owners can help their feline companions look and feel their best.

- 2024-05-14Hi moms-to-be,
I recently had a check-up with my OBGYN, and they mentioned that my fetus seems to be smaller than expected for this stage of pregnancy. Needless to say, this news has left me feeling quite anxious and worried about the health and development of my baby.
I can't shake off this feeling of concern. can this lead to my baby stops growing? Has anyone else experienced something similar during their pregnancy? Did your baby's size end up causing any complications or was everything okay in the end?
I would really appreciate hearing from other moms who may have gone through similar situations or have any relevant experiences to share. Your insights and advice would mean a lot to me during this stressful time.
- 2024-05-14Lately I've noticed something quite unexpected - my sex drive has skyrocketed! It seems like I can't go a day without feeling incredibly turned on, and it's honestly taking me by surprise.
I've heard that some women experience changes in their libido during pregnancy, but I never expected it to be this intense. Is anyone else going through something similar? Is it normal to have such a high sex drive during pregnancy, or should I be concerned about it?
- 2024-05-14I'm currently expecting my first child, and I've been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). While I'm thrilled about the pregnancy, I can't help but feel anxious about how my condition might affect the baby's health.
I've done some research, and it seems like there can be potential risks associated with PCOS during pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, preterm birth, preeclampsia, and even autism???? I'm also concerned about the possibility of passing on any genetic factors related to PCOS to my baby.
anyone has similar experience?

- 2024-05-14Logo design plays a pivotal role in shaping the identity and perception of a startup. For emerging businesses, a well-crafted logo serves as a visual cornerstone, conveying the brand’s values, personality, and unique selling points. Here’s why custom logo design is crucial for startups and how partnering with a business logo designer can set them on the path to success.
First impressions matter, especially in the competitive landscape of startups. A logo is often the first point of contact between a brand and its audience, appearing on websites, social media profiles, business cards, and marketing materials. As such, it should capture the essence of the startup and resonate with its target audience, leaving a lasting impression
that sets the tone for future interactions.
Custom logo design offers startups the opportunity to stand out in a crowded marketplace and differentiate themselves from competitors. By working with a skilled business logo designer, startups can translate their vision, mission, and values into a visual identity that speaks to their audience and sets them apart from the competition. Whether aiming for a
sleek and modern look or a quirky and unconventional vibe, a custom-designed logo allows startups to express their unique personality and positioning.
Moreover, a well-designed logo builds credibility and trust, instilling confidence in potential customers and investors. Startups often face skepticism and uncertainty in their early stages, but a professional and polished logo signals professionalism, reliability, and commitment to
quality. It lends legitimacy to the brand and reinforces its credibility, helping to attract customers, partners, and funding opportunities.
Beyond aesthetics, a custom logo designed for startups should be versatile and adaptable to various applications and contexts. It should look equally impressive whether displayed on a website header, printed on merchandise, or scaled down for social media avatars. A business
logo designer understands the importance of scalability and provides startups with logo files in different formats and resolutions to ensure consistency across platforms and mediums.
Furthermore, a logo design Singapore process involves collaboration and iteration, allowing startups to refine their brand identity and visual language along the way. Through brainstorming sessions, concept development, and feedback loops, startups can actively participate in shaping their logo and ensuring it aligns with their evolving goals and
aspirations.
In conclusion, custom logo designing is a critical investment for startups seeking to establish a strong brand presence and make a memorable impression on their audience. Partnering with a skilled business logo designer empowers startups to create a distinctive and impactful
visual identity that reflects their values, resonates with their audience, and sets the stage for future success.

- 2024-05-14My fiancé's younger brother is 20 y/o he's very much a spoiled brat, rude and lazy asf. His mother and my fiancé expect me to baby his brother when i told my fiancé his brother is 20 y/o and is well-abled.
Why I said he's spoiled brat, rude and lazy? here's one of a few key things (there's more lol): -
1) Doesn't work part time to contribute to the family, excuse: "because i'm still studying". this is just a useless excuse, my fiancé started working when he was 14 y/o whilst still studying (full-time)
2) I hide my snack/instant noodles in the room because he's been taking my stuff without asking for permission or letting me know. BUTTTT, he still went ahead to the room and took my instant noodles 😇🙂, when called out, he's pathetic reason "i have nothing to eat obviously i take la" in rude arrogant manner and unapologetic (obviously never even apologise for it). I told him this instant noodle was not sold in SG yet as it just recently released (obviously 1 packet of instant noodles cost close to $5 lol there's a surge in price because it just got released 😞) and he was also so rude and arrogant saying that i'm staying at HIS MUM'S HOUSE and all my stuff is "their property" 😮💨 and nope his mother did not ask her son to apologise (he's her fav child 🫨)
3) He always cook, use the plates, etc and never wash up and my fiancé expect me to wash up his dishes as well 🥱 I told him no he is well-abled to wash up on his own (imagine i haven't even married into his family and he's already expecting me to baby his 20 Y/O BROTHER) — i'm currently 26 wks pregnant, taking care of my son, full-time working and also part-time studying for my diploma 🤐
4) He is soo lazy that he can't even buy his own food right below the block there's a kopitiam 👺 he's mom asked me to collect food for her son (my fiancé younger brother) ☠️
I already told my fiancé firmly that I will not take care of his younger brother 😵💫 I told him i'm the only child and I did not even do housework back in my home yet you're expecting me to take care of your younger brother?!
I have absolutely no complaints in doing housework as I know I need to contribute to the household but I told my fiancé that I WILL ONLY CONTRIBUTE FOR MY PART (my son, fiancé and me). Nothing else.
I just hope I could quickly move-out of this house as I know there will be more issues arising after this happened.
- 2024-05-14I'm worried, Is it normal? My positive test was two weeks ago. And im only visiting the gynae at week 8
- 2024-05-14Hi, im 34 weeks pregnant and baby is transverse 🥲 anyone have experience if baby will turn head down at a later time just before birth?
- 2024-05-14Sorry this might be disgusting.. does anyone knows what’s this? My LO doesn’t have any fever or flu or cough …
- 2024-05-14My husband going on a company trip and I arranged for a staycation with my family and relatives the weekend before he flies off. I have already texted him one week ago. Suddenly when I was talking about it just now he flew into rage. Saying why I always focus on other people and not him, our family should come first. He wants our daughter to be with him before he flies off. I don't get it.
Ok if our family comes first, why is it when I am sick he never ask if I feel better or check on me?
Why is it taking care of our child is my responsibility and not his? He told me before because I want to have a child. Fine if that is the case then u shouldn't need Ur child before u fly off.
I am so so so pissed off.
- 2024-05-14Hi mummiessss have you ever dropped your phone on your baby? 😭 I was bf my baby and fell asleep with him by my side. My mil came in and asked when my husb will be back. In my grogginess I reached for my phone and it slipped out of my hand and fell on my baby. Luckily it wasn't too high but the phone is hard. Now I'm feeling so guilty, please don't bash 😭
- 2024-05-14I am having flu and cough and tested ART and it turn out to be positive. I am not sure what to do. See GP or go hospital at this late hour. I am worried for my baby.
- 2024-05-14Hi, mommies.
Can I check when you guys stopped breastfeeding? And how did u feel? I felt bad when I stopped and I also missed it but I think it's hard to relactate. How do I overcome this feeling :(

- 2024-05-15To be exact, I'm worried about the results of the scan. Keep telling myself everything will be fine but can't stop worrying as I have been waiting for this baby for a long time. So I'm really hoping my baby is healthy and I can finally be a mother in Dec.
- 2024-05-15Any ladies getting upper back pain in first trimester? My upper back hurts when i woke up today.#adviceappreciated
- 2024-05-15Have you ever experienced hostile treatment from kkh nurses and their staffs?
I don't know if it's because I'm under a subsidised route. Staffs are always harsh and impatient towards patients.
Lactation support, like no support, scolded me when I was struggling to bf my newborn. She said do I still want to bf or not? It's my first time and quite traumatic experience for me.
Is that why ppl go for private route?
- 2024-05-15Working mum. 5mo Baby looked after by MIL.
I am happy that Baby is being well taken care of. But I feel very upset whenever I go to pick up my Baby.. because he doesn't show any excitement when he sees me and show little interest in playing with me..
He laugh at every silly expression and sound that his granny makes..
Haiz.. I know it's because he spend a lot of time with her. But it is making me so sad looking at them play. 😞

- 2024-05-15Hi Mommies/Mommies-To-Be,
Just wondering what is your thought on "beating your kids" as part of parenting style?
My husband's family is more towards using physical punishment like beating when their kids rebel. Personally, I prefer to approach it through communication and holistic view. Maybe partly because I was raised in a different style by my parents. When I saw my own brother and my sis-in-law teaching their daughter is also more with love and explanation, like treating her to be more mature in thinking not driven by fear of getting punished.
I used to discuss a lot with my husband on how I wish to raise our child next time but it rarely ended up well 😂 This is because he still believes that a kid has to experience the cane pain or punishment then they'll be able to learn more. I am not sure is it because his family is dominated mostly by males, cos all he has are brothers and nephews.
For now, I try not to think so much of how he'll raise our kids but I am honestly quite worried everytime I witness his brother hit his kids so hard or talking harshly. I am a believer that parents should set good examples to their kids if we want our kids to have good manners too.
- 2024-05-15Or can just nap in the carrier/ stroller? Thanks
- 2024-05-15Regular grooming is an essential aspect of responsible pet ownership, ensuring the health, comfort, and well-being of our furry companions. Whether performed at home or by professional pet groomers Singapore, encompasses a range of tasks aimed at maintaining a pet’s hygiene, appearance, and overall health. In a humid climate, where pets are susceptible to skin issues and coat matting, regular grooming becomes even more crucial.
Professional pet grooming services in Singapore offer specialized expertise and tools to ensure pets receive the highest standard of care. Regular grooming sessions at professional salons involve bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat trimming, among other services tailored to the specific needs of each pet. These skilled groomers understand the importance of using pet-safe products and techniques to promote a stress-free and enjoyable grooming experience.
One of the primary benefits of regular grooming is the prevention of skin problems and coat matting. In a tropical climatic condition, pets are prone to excessive shedding and accumulation of dirt, debris, and allergens in their coats. Regular brushing and bathing remove these impurities, preventing skin irritation, hot spots, and fungal infections.
Professional groomers have the expertise to identify early signs of skin issues and recommend appropriate treatments, helping to maintain a pet’s skin health.
Furthermore, regular grooming promotes good hygiene and odor control, which is particularly important for indoor pets living near their owners. Keeping a pet’s coat clean and well-maintained reduces the spread of allergens and bacteria, contributing to a healthier living environment for both pets and their owners. Pet groomers in Singapore use high-quality shampoos and conditioners formulated for pets’ sensitive skin, leaving them smelling fresh and looking their best.
Additionally, pet grooming Singapore sessions provide an opportunity for early detection of health problems. Professional groomers often observe changes in a pet’s skin, coat, or behavior that may indicate underlying health issues such as parasites, skin infections, or ear infections. Detecting these issues early allows pet owners to seek timely veterinary care, preventing potential complications and ensuring their pet’s overall well-being.
Beyond the physical benefits, regular grooming fosters a stronger bond between pets and their owners. Grooming sessions provide valuable one-on-one time for pets and their owners to interact positively, strengthening their relationship and trust. This bonding experience can reduce a pet’s anxiety about grooming and enhance their overall happiness and quality of life.
In conclusion, regular grooming is essential for maintaining a pet’s health, hygiene, and appearance. Professional pet grooming services in Singapore offer expert care and specialized treatments tailored to each pet’s needs. By prioritizing regular grooming, pet owners can ensure their furry friends remain happy, healthy, and well-groomed for years to come.

- 2024-05-15Mom, I'm worried. Why doesn't my baby nurse frequently like other babies? I heard that newborns can breastfeed every 2 hours, even every hour... My baby is irregular. Sometimes, he can sleep for up to 4 hours... then breastfeed. But sometimes, it's after 1 hour, then he breastfeeds. I can't seem to grasp the same nursing pattern. - 2024-05-15Is it safe to use peppermint and orange essential oil diffuser to curb with nausea? In first trimester.
- 2024-05-15Hi. I'm a BF mum.
My baby often latch on me and fall asleep. Sometimes I skip the burping part because I don't wanna wake baby up. But she kept spitting out milk. I've asked polyclinic during monthly checkup and they advised to burp after every feed.
Whenever I tried, she didn't burp either. Like very hard to make her burp 😅 she kept farting though. I will feel guilty whenever I skip the burping part or didn't manage to make her burp..b
- 2024-05-15I actually bought it from a tiktok live because it was having a sale. I got 3 bottles bundle and Im finishing the 3rd bottle soon. My daughter's hair grew faster in 3 months. Massage the scalp with the oil(not oily) to enhance blood flow so that it'll grow hair faster. I massaged using soft bristle baby brush.
- 2024-05-15Hi mummies, usually when will your stomach start to show for 2nd pregnancy?
- 2024-05-15Would need advice if anyone has positive result for this test and ended up giving birth in the next 1/2 weeks? I am currently 25 +4 days
- 2024-05-15I hope you're all doing well! I'm a new mom and my baby is now 2 months old. As a first-time parent, I can't help but worry about whether my little one's development is on track. I'm constantly comparing her milestones to what I read online and hear from other parents.
Here are some things I've observed:
She can lift her head briefly during tummy time.
She smiles back at us and seems to recognize our faces.
She coos and makes some baby sounds.
She follows objects with her eyes.
Are these signs that she's developing healthily? Are there other milestones I should be looking for at this age? I would really appreciate any advice or reassurance from more experienced parents.
- 2024-05-15My baby is now 3 months old, and I have some concerns about her sleeping pattern. As a first-time parent, I just want to make sure everything is okay and that she's getting the rest she needs.
Currently, my baby's sleep schedule looks something like this:
She sleeps for 3-4 hours at a time during the night, waking up to feed.
During the day, she takes several naps, ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Sometimes, she seems to nap frequently and other times she's awake for longer stretches and seems a bit fussier.
Is this normal for a baby her age? Should I be doing something different to help her develop a more consistent sleep pattern? Any tips or experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated.
- 2024-05-15I'm feeling a bit worried about my baby's motor development. My little one is 4.5 months old, and I've noticed some things that are starting to concern me. During tummy time, she struggles to lift her head and doesn't push up on her arms like I've seen other babies do. Oh and also, she hasn't shown any interest in reaching for or grabbing toys. When I put a toy in her hand, she doesn't seem to grasp it firmly...
Are these signs something I should be worried about at this stage?
- 2024-05-15how do you know if a baby is tired? Sometimes she starts crying, and I think it might be because she’s tired, but my sister-in-law keeps insisting that she just wants to play more. I’m worried that I might be missing the signs of tiredness and pushing her too much.
What are the clear signs that a baby this age is tired? Here are some things I've noticed, but I’m not sure if they’re related to tiredness:
She rubs her eyes and gets a bit fussy.
Sometimes she yawns or her movements become slower.
She seems less interested in her toys and more irritable.
Are these signs of tiredness, or could it be something else? How do you balance playtime and rest? I want to make sure she’s getting the right amount of both.
- 2024-05-15I've heard that irregular sleep can affect a baby's health and even their brain development.
Here's what's going on:
my baby doesn’t have a consistent sleep schedule. Some nights she sleeps for long stretches, while other nights she wakes up frequently.
During the day, her naps are all over the place – sometimes short, sometimes long, and at varying times.
She seems cranky and fussy during the day, which makes me think she’s not getting enough quality sleep.
I’ve read that proper sleep is crucial for brain development at this age, and I’m worried that her irregular sleeping pattern might cause health problems or affect her development.
Have any of you experienced similar issues with your babies? How did you manage to establish a consistent sleep routine?
- 2024-05-15I’m really angry and worried right now because my in-laws keep insisting on giving my 7-month-old baby honey. They believe it’s healthy and beneficial, but I know it can be dangerous for babies under 1 year old.
Despite me telling them multiple times about the risks, they don’t seem to take me seriously. I’ve explained that honey can cause infant botulism, which is a serious condition caused by bacteria in honey that a baby’s immature digestive system can’t handle.
I’m at my wits’ end because they keep pushing this, and I’m scared for my baby’s safety. It’s causing a lot of tension and stress in the family.
- 2024-05-15I’m a first-time mom, and my baby is now 7 months old. I’m curious to know what skills are typical for babies in the 6-9 months age range. I want to make sure my little one is on track and to know what milestones to look forward to.
Could you share what your babies were doing at this age? Things like motor skills, cognitive development, and any cute or surprising abilities they started to show. I’d love to hear about your experiences and get some insights into what’s considered normal for this stage.
- 2024-05-15I just had to share my excitement and a bit of surprise with you all! My baby is 7,5 months old, and today he stood up for the first time! 😲 Although he still needs support and holds onto furniture, seeing him stand was such a thrilling and unexpected moment.
I wasn’t expecting this milestone so soon, and it really took me by surprise. Have any of you experienced this with your little ones at this age?
- 2024-05-15My little one just turned 11 months old, and lately, I've been feeling really bothered and annoyed by some of his behaviors. It seems like he's been extra fussy, clingy, and throwing more tantrums than usual. I know it's all part of his development, but it's really wearing me down.
I love my baby more than anything, but sometimes it's just overwhelming, you know? I'm trying my best to stay patient and understanding, but some days are really tough. what should i do?
- 2024-05-16I had a fight with hub though we are ‘ok’ now but i still feel insecure. I know he has been stressed at work i really wish not to disturb of bother him but i have been really really moody lately suddenly emo suddenly happy. I have depression few years back too. It is the same feeling that repeats over again… 😪😪 i get urge to self harm but then my brain will signal me i had baby and i cry all over again. I just felt so valuable and empty rn.

- 2024-05-16Im a broke mom currently on HL. All the baby stuff is putting a toll on my husb and i. What jobs can i do remotely without having to travel to earn some money?
- 2024-05-16I’m week 7 now had nausea, tiredness and sore breasts last 2-3 weeks but this morning I woke up and the soreness is gone. There are 2 little spots of brown discharge on my underwear but when I wiped there nothing. Should I be worried? I’m also not as tired as I was last few weeks.. have I miscarried ? :(
My ultrasound at week 6 was normal saw the fetus in the sac and the flickering of the heart. Gynae said to visit him again at week 8
- 2024-05-16I just had to share the most amazing thing my baby did today! My little one is approaching 1 year. Today, while we were playing together, my baby finally started clapping all on their own. I was worried but now i can breath easy.... It was the cutest thing I've ever seen!
I know it might seem like a small thing, but to me, it's a huge milestone and a wonderful reminder of how incredible this journey is.
- 2024-05-16My little one is now 11 months old, and I'm curious about what's considered normal for language skills at this age.
I've noticed that my baby babbles a lot and seems to be trying to mimic some sounds, but they don't have any real words yet. Is this typical for an 11-month-old? When did your babies start saying their first words, and what were they?
- 2024-05-16I just had a really enlightening conversation with my friend, who happens to be a pediatrician, and I wanted to share some valuable insights she gave me about understanding our little ones' emotions.
According to my friend, one of the key indicators of a child's emotional well-being is observing their sleep and eating habits, body language, facial expressions, and communication.
- Sleep and Eating Habits: Paying attention to our children's sleep patterns and eating habits can provide valuable clues about their emotional state. Healthy sleep and eating routines are often signs of a happy and content child, while disruptions in these areas may indicate underlying stress or discomfort.
- Body Language: Our children's body language can speak volumes about how they're feeling. Relaxed and open body language, with engaged movements, is typically a sign of happiness and comfort. Conversely, tense or withdrawn body language may indicate stress or unease.
- Facial Expressions: Facial expressions are another important indicator of our children's emotions. A bright-eyed smile and laughter often signify happiness, while a furrowed brow or downturned mouth may signal distress or discomfort.
- Communication: How our children communicate with us is crucial for understanding their emotional needs. Whether it's through babbling, gestures, or words, effective communication can help us gauge their level of happiness and address any concerns they may have.
By being mindful of these aspects of our children's behavior, we can better support their emotional well-being and create a nurturing environment where they feel safe and loved.
I hope you find these insights as valuable as I did! Feel free to share your own experiences or thoughts!
- 2024-05-16Moms, I could really use some advice or insights from those who may have been through a similar situation.
My son, who is now 3 and a half years old, has been showing signs of jealousy towards his newborn sister, who is just 3 months old. Whenever I'm caring for or spending time with his little sister, he often acts out or seeks extra attention from me. It's been challenging to manage his feelings of jealousy while also ensuring that both of my children feel loved and valued.
Moreover, I've noticed that he also gets jealous when I hold or communicate with other people's kids. It seems like he feels threatened whenever I interact with other children, and I'm not sure how to address this behavior in a sensitive and supportive way.
I want to help my son navigate these emotions and understand that it's normal to feel jealous sometimes, but I also want to encourage positive interactions and foster a loving sibling relationship between him and his sister. Is it possible?
- 2024-05-16Hey moms,
I need some advice here. My daughter just turned 4, and she's already reaching a height of almost 115 cm! I can't help but feel a bit confused and worried. Is this normal for her age?
I've heard that children grow at different rates, but seeing her taller than most kids her age makes me wonder if there's something abnormal going on. Should I be concerned about her height at this stage?
Any insights or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

These techniques encompass various aspects of design, including color, typography, imagery, layout, and visual hierarchy, to create visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences.
As a web designer in Singapore, mastering visual design techniques is crucial to creating memorable and impactful websites that leave a lasting impression on visitors. One of the key elements of visual design is color theory. Understanding the psychology of colors and how they evoke emotions and convey messages can help web designers choose the right color palette to reflect a brand’s personality and resonate with its target audience. Whether it’s using bold and vibrant colors to create a sense of energy and excitement or soft and muted tones to evoke a feeling of calm and sophistication, color plays a vital role in shaping the overall look and feel of a website.
Typography is another important aspect of visual design for web designers. Selecting the right fonts and typography styles can enhance readability, convey hierarchy, and reinforce brand identity. Freelance web designers often have the freedom to experiment with typography and create custom font pairings that reflect the unique personality of a website or brand. High-quality, relevant imagery can enhance storytelling, evoke emotions, and showcase products or services effectively. As a freelance web designer, sourcing or creating compelling visual content is essential for creating impactful websites that capture the attention of visitors and encourage them to explore further.
In terms of layout, visual hierarchy plays a critical role in guiding users’ attention and prioritizing content on a web page. By strategically arranging elements such as headings, images, and call-to-action buttons, web designers can create clear pathways for users to navigate through the website and find the information they need quickly and easily. Using whitespace effectively also helps improve readability and create a sense of balance and harmony in the design.
In conclusion, mastering visual design techniques is essential for freelance web designers in Singapore to create visually stunning and effective websites that engage users and communicate brand messages effectively. - 2024-05-16Hi mamas,
I’m first time sending my toddler to play group. May I know how often do you usually get updates from your childcare center and to what extent? Do they share updates daily about the activities they did, how well they eat, sleep etc. Also do they share photos?

- 2024-05-16Im 6 weeks in. I experienced sharp stomach pain multiple times in a night. First when i was carry a bag (not too heavy) and later when i reached for something overhead. In between there were mild episodes of jabbing pain too though it comes in pangs and eventually subsided. No spotting. My earliest gynea appointment is 2 weeks later. Is this normal?
- 2024-05-16Hi FTM mum here and I’m planning to hire a helper. I have confinement nanny for 1st month but not sure how to arrange once nanny leaves. - 2024-05-16Any mummies wake up feeling wide awake? It is a maternal animal instinct thing to protect from predators... no matter how little I sleep or how much I sleep I wake up super wide awake.. unlike in the past where you feel like sleeping in longer, can't open your eyes, brain haven't start functioning 😅 it's like alert mode..
Also!! I noticed everytime I wake up I immediately feel my womb and certain sides would feel hard, is it the baby positioning 🤣 ? after I wake up and leave my bed my womb becomes soft again haha
- 2024-05-16My LO drinks every 2.5-3hrs during the day . Do I let him sleep and only feed him when he cries for milk at night or wake him up to feed every 3 hours?
- 2024-05-16My 15 mo understands the words but not saying much speech. Says mama , dada, papa but don't point to the person. Learns to walk at 10 mo and plays well independently. Stacking the blocks and keeping the toys. Claps, waves and points at things. The speech wise not really picking up.
Is it something to be worried about ? #adviceappreciated
- 2024-05-16Since my 12 weeks scan, 20 weeks scan baby is mostly in breech position. More like sunny side up, with buttocks at my pelvic area. I’m 28 weeks now and still feel the movements around the same area, not in the upper or rib area. Is this normal? Has baby moved before or always in the same position? Overthinking and worrying about the position. Please share if any similar experience or what I should take note of please. Thank you
- 2024-05-16Hi parents!
Would like to get an input on my situation right now. My boys both started school this year, one is in N2 while the other one is in PG,while i have worries about my first born going to school knowing that he's got separation anxiety,so far his teacher never once complain about him. My second child however is a different story.
My second child is abit more independent,he loves going to school and he's doing pretty well in terms of academic and stuff but i kept getting text from his teacher to pick him up from school everytime he gets cranky. I'm not sure if its normal for teachers to send home cranky 2 years old or is it they cannot handle my child?
I understand if he is cranky plus sick and would pick him up as soon as i can but it became an every week routine. They would say that he's cranky and would want me to pick him up or they would say that he is sick but when we get home he's doing okay. The teacher there would throw in sarcastic remarks here and there and sometimes roll her eyes when i send my kids to school. I always pick my boys up from school before 6 and she would ask me to pick them up earlier, like 4 pm. They would say that my son is cranky and he's crying etc but when i come to pick them up,seldom would i hear him crying.
I'm also a private student,i have to study and i'm home all the time but how can i study when i have to pick my kids up everytime he gets "cranky". I get that teachers get overwhelmed and there are alot of other student they have to look after but just because i'm not working like other parents doesn't mean during their time in school i'm free.
I notice as well that there are other student being cranky but the teacher never ask their parents to pick them up,only my son and i can't help but wonder is it because they're working and i'm not?
Not sure if i should bring this up to the principal, don't want my kids to be treated differently if something were to happen to the teacher. Not trying to change school also cause my kids are comfortable in this school and my cranky son actually likes his teacher. I'm not sure what to do and its keeping me up all night just thinking about this.#adviceappreciated

- 2024-05-17A website is often the most valuable asset for a business or individual. As such, maintaining a backup for your website is crucial to ensure its security and integrity. Here’s why having a backup is essential and how a website designer can help.
First and foremost, backups protect against data loss. Websites can be vulnerable to various threats such as hacking, malware, and server failures. A backup ensures that you have a copy of all your data, from files and images to databases. If your website experiences a catastrophic failure or security breach, a backup allows you to restore it to a previous state quickly and efficiently. This minimizes downtime and ensures continuity in your online presence.
Secondly, backups help in maintaining website integrity after updates. Regular updates to your website’s software, themes, and plugins are necessary for security and performance improvements. However, updates can sometimes cause conflicts or errors, potentially breaking your website. A backup enables you to revert to a functional version of your site if an update goes wrong, thus safeguarding your website’s functionality.
Additionally, maintaining backups is essential for compliance and disaster recovery. Many industries have regulations requiring businesses to keep data secure and recoverable. Regular backups ensure you meet these compliance requirements and are prepared for any unforeseen disasters. This not only protects your business but also builds trust with your customers, knowing their data is safe.
A professional website designer Singapore can set up and manage your backup system efficiently. They can recommend the best backup solutions tailored to your website’s needs and ensure that backups are performed regularly. Website designers also verify the integrity of backups and test restoration processes, guaranteeing that your backup system will work when needed.
In conclusion, maintaining a backup for your website is an indispensable practice that protects against data loss, ensures website integrity, and helps with compliance and disaster recovery. By working with a skilled web designer Singapore, you can implement a robust backup strategy that keeps your website secure and operational at all times.

- 2024-05-17Hi, FTM with formula milk fed baby. I read that baby milk is exempted from the LAG restriction. Does that mean I can bring my thermal flask filled 500 ml of hot water?
I know I can request hot water from the cabin crew, but I am afraid there is not enough time for the hot water to cool down for baby to drink. Hence, I thought it will be easier if I can bring my own hot water, so as and when I can prepare the milk.
Anyone with experience to share? Thanks in advance!! :)

- 2024-05-18I went for my routine check up yesterday happily as I am supposed to be week 8+6. However I was told that there is no more heartbeat. I am in so much shock as the heartbeat was very strong just a week back.
Gynae said this may be due to genetics issue but I can’t help to think if it’s because of us having sex once a few days ago. We were very careful to be gentle and slow.
My pregnancy is a high risk one and I have been taking progesterone daily. We had sex once around 7 weeks but bb was healthy and heartbeat was strong after that so we didn’t think it would be a problem.
