- 2024-03-18Hi all, just wondering how long is your usual gynae appt waiting time? I’m with a private gynae at Mount A and my appt time varies from 30min-1.5hrs wait 🫠
- 2024-03-18Supposed to be at 7 weeks however scan shows slow fetal heart beat and at 5.5 weeks. Have to come back to scan again in a week's time. Worried definitely as I have history of miscarriages. Anyone here experienced this but end up giving birth successfully? Thank you for sharing your stories in advance.
- 2024-03-18Fellow parents, is it true that autism is hereditary? At what age can its characteristics be seen in babies, and what are they like...
I'm a bit worried, my baby doesn't like to make eye contact when I talk to him is that normal?
- 2024-03-18Good morning, my husband and I could be considered newlyweds. We got to know each other through matchmaking and proceed to get married 3 months later. As newlyweds, there's still much for us to learn about matters related to sex...
At the age of 3 months into our marriage, after we finish being intimate, my husband always rushes to the bathroom first to clean up. Because this has been happening since the beginning, I gathered the courage to ask why he always seems in a hurry to go to the bathroom? Because I want to cuddle after we finish. Then my husband's answer, "if I don't clean up quickly, it feels itchy." And apparently, this itching sensation has been there since the first night. So when my husband is already out, that's when the itching sensation appears. Is this normal????
- 2024-03-18Having a kind and caring mother-in-law is wonderful. However, my mother-in-law has issues from her past that affects the way she loves her grandchild now.
She doesn't really bond with her kids, including his son (m husband) because when she used to work, her kids were entrusted to others... Now that she has grandchildren, she finally wants to be closer than the other grandmother (my mother) or anyone else. As a daughter-in-law, I feel a bit uncomfortable, especially because now she's only at home and still energetic. Every day she would ask about my son, even though my family isn't like that at all. The worst part is her own son (my husband) is never on her mind, so their focus (my in-laws) is solely on the grandchild. Granted, it's their first grandchild, but my mother isn't that extreme. After observing people my mother-in-law's age who have similar stories, it seems that past issues lead to a desire to be "closest to the grandchild." Does anyone have a similar experience?
By the way, my husband and I are committed, even though he's the firstborn son and our child often stays with me, we don't want to favor one side of the grandparents over the other.

- 2024-03-18Entering into 2nd trimester and suddenly all the morning sickness is gone. Feeling insecure if the pregnancy is doing well. Still need to wait for a few more days before my next checkups. 🤔
Anyone feels the same?
- 2024-03-18Can't believe what happened at my last appointment! 😱 My doctor had been telling me for months that my little one was a girl, but guess what? Last week, we found out it's actually a BOY! Can you believe it? I'm still wrapping my head around it! Have any of you experienced this? Is it really possible for a baby's gender to change, or was it just a big mix-up? 🤷🏽♀️ Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! #MomLife #PregnancyJourney #BabyGenderMystery
- 2024-03-18Can't wrap my head around this one... Just had the most surreal conversation with my hubby... He actually said he doesn't want me to give birth because he loves me so much when I'm pregnant! And he thinks I'm even sexier while pregnant... is he normal because i feel pretty scared
- 2024-03-18Hi Mummies,
My boy is turning 1 year old tomorrow but he is still not walking on his own.

Shall I be worried ? Please help me mummies 🙏

- 2024-03-18Hi mummies, I am a first time mum & I am planning a trip to Korea around my 23 week mark, and I’m wondering if anyone had a prior experience of travelling around this phase of pregnancy?
Will it feel too heavy to walk, should we expect any discomfort or if it’s ok?
Just slightly worried and uncertain cause I dontknow what to expect. Appreciate any sharing (: thank you!

- 2024-03-18Hi mommies !
I am having an issue with regular tap water. I can taste its metal contents more so.
Even before pregnant, I can say difference to brand waters & can say which household tap water feels heavyweight to swallow #weird.
But now I can taste so much of its metal. Idk what I am tasting. The closest I can describe is metal. Any suggestions ?
It's getting bad. it's gross to drink. But I am forcing myself to drink. I can feel my dehydration a lot.
I also wouldn't want to add sugar to my water coz I am afraid of diabetic. Wuld love to hear in frm you ladies :)
- 2024-03-19Regretfully, I introduced screen time to my little one at a very early age, hoping to buy some free time for myself amidst the chaos and lack of support. 😞 Now, my precious child is displaying autism-like symptoms (refuse talking, eye contact, scream when not getting screen time when he wants it... refuse eating if not watching tv/ video), and I can't help but blame myself. Has anyone experience similar thing?
- 2024-03-19I mistook what I thought was normal vaginal discharge for something much more serious – AMNIOTIC FLUID leaking. It was only when I felt cramps and a nagging sense that something wasn't right that I rushed to the hospital. Now, I can't help but wonder, how could I have avoided this scare? Has anyone else experienced a similar situation, and what steps did you take to prevent it from happening again?

- 2024-03-19Sometimes, being a working mother is a choice we make consciously. For me, pursuing a career as a working woman was a dream I chased, but when I had children, I started to feel the pressure from the judgmental eyes around me. Every day, as I strive to juggle work tasks and care for my children, I feel like I'm being scrutinized. My in-laws often inquire about my children with a tone of pity, as if they doubt my abilities as a working mother. Even my own parents sometimes make comments that make me feel inadequate. When we visit their house, there are often remarks implying that I don't give enough attention to my children, or that I should spend more time at home. They even compare me to my sister-in-law, who is a stay-at-home mom, without understanding the reality behind closed doors. They don't even know, my sister-in-law whom they proudly boast about, what her real behavior is like out there. She often gossips and talks negatively about others, she's extravagant, and it's not uncommon for her to show hatred.
My husband always tries to reassure me that I'm a great mother and that I'm doing everything well. However, sometimes the negative words and looks from my in-laws and parents make me feel defeated and powerless. Has anyone else experienced something similar? How do you cope with these feelings? I would like to hear experiences and advice from all of you. Thank you for your time and attention.

- 2024-03-19Hello mummies! My daughter is 14 months already. Just want to ask anyone also have the scar with a bit thick and red? Is it normal? Or mostly all of u have the flat scar and barely see the scar?
- 2024-03-19Hi mommies! My bf and his family is brining me to go eat Swensen buffet ( the one at terminal 2) and I’m just curious am I allowed to eat seafood on ice? If cannot I wouldn’t even go don’t want to waste their money ahahahah#newmom
- 2024-03-19FTM here, 7weeks PP. I’ve been trying to BF my LO since he was born and even engage an LC to help with latching. Some days he latches, some days he refused to latch, no matter how hard I tried.
Secondly, my supply is really extremely low. I do pumping, but barely reaches 10ml for both side.
With the result I get, I feel like giving up BF.
Any advice on how to increase supply? I do take Swiss Breastfeeding Support as supplement and snack on some lactation cookies but still the same.
Or should I just give full FM as it’s really exhausting to trying to get him to latch or pump.
- 2024-03-19Hi mummies, its my first pregnancy, in my 13 weeks and i realize my face skin has been peeling around my face area. Sometimes i use moisturizer it gets better but some days it still dry and skin will peel. Is it normal to be this way?
- 2024-03-20Just wondering how many pieces of new born diapers we need to get before baby move from NB to size S? Heard that babies grow very quickly and dont wish to overstock on this.
- 2024-03-20Not a question - just venting that it's so hard when you're in the first trimester where culturally we don't share but all I want to do is yell at everybody that I'm making a new human. I know it's precarious but life is life mah and anything can happen anytime why should I only share after the first three months lol.
- 2024-03-20Hello. Any mummies recently gave birth at Mount A? What do you pack in your hospital bag? I searched online but it seems very insufficient.. 😅 thank you in advance!
- 2024-03-202nd child but couldn’t feel baby’s kick is that normal? I hear that 2nd pregnancy will feel the lick easier and faster and that actually by 16-20weeks can feel alrdy
But i dint sense anything, is that okay? ):
- 2024-03-20Hi there!!
I just wanted to ask if any other mummies here have harvested colostrum during their pregnancy before?
I exclusively pumped for my daughter, then stopped pumping 3 months ago when I learned about my second pregnancy. My breasts "deflated" when I stopped pumping, but recently they have swollen again. The swelling reminds me of my previous experience with mastitis swelling, so I'm wondering if I can express some milk (colostrum) now to relieve the swollen feeling.
In week 18 now - need some advice is have 🥲
- 2024-03-20Did a cervical check ytd morning, not dilated yet but noticed my mucus plug dropped at night. Even till now when i wipe i still see it. Having on off cramps as well, it comes and go. Unable to time it like normal contractions cos quite irregular.
So i’m not sure if its contractions or just normal cramping? Should i head to the delivery suite already? Afraid that they will ask me to go home and wait for more contractions 😰

How many times does your baby poo in a day? Especially after the start of solids. My baby usually poop 2 times a day. But i realised after changing FM for 6months old & starting solids my baby poop 4 times a day everyday. I dont know if it’s normal or could it be diarrhoea?

- 2024-03-21Anyone had Dr Wong as a gynae before? FTM here, I’ve visited his clinic once and felt that he was a pretty decent doctor. However, would like to get some feedback as to whether he is pro-natural? Would like to avoid C-sec as much as possible (understand that this is something we can’t really control, but would ideally prefer a pro-natural birth doctor) TIA!
- 2024-03-21I kept on having this pain on my left buttock. It kept attacking me if I seat for too long or even laying down on my left. I'm not sure how to describe the pain. It will only attack when I hit the 3 trimester. Anyone else having this issue? What was your remedy or what do you do to ease the pain?
- 2024-03-21Hi Mummies! I am currently fully breastfeeding my 8 month old baby. I've introduced a bottle before but stopped when he was about 2 months old once the dad started working. I'm a Stay at home mom. I want to introduce it back again so I can relax a little (someone can take over)🥲. Any advice? I bought Hegen and Avent Natural bottle. He would suck for a while then stop and kinda chew on it, then repeat. Is there anyone currently doing mix feeds? Are your babies taking it well? #adviceplease #FTM

Are they expecting my waterbag to break on its own so that i can deliver? Or are they going to determine if they should induce? When should i tell my company my ML period? I dont know which date I'm giving birth thus i can't commit any dates yet. Sorry for being this confused but I'm a FTM. Any advices is appreciated.
