My husband and i are looking for stroller at the moment, any advices on which brand of stroller that we should buy that can hold a newborn until toddler age, maybe until around 3yo??
Im not a big fan of shopping, so i wanted to get a good quality stroller that can last for a while. Thanks so much for all the input! 🙏🏽#firsttimemom #firstbaby

- 2023-10-30Hi mummies, i am into 2 months of motherhood life. Somehow i only can see the negative side like sleepless night, busy and hectic life. No more shopping and enjoy food. What is the positive side of being a mum?
- 2023-10-30Hi , my son is 13 months & can stand on his own & walk when holding onto something. However i am pressured by people saying he should be able to walk on his own already.
- 2023-10-30I’m a FTM at week 10. I’m experiencing occasional cramps in one side of my butt cheeks (none for abdominal, no abnormal discharge etc). Feels somewhat like having a pulled nerve. It’s been a few days and for no reason. Never encountered this bef preg or not like I’ve done any strenuous exercises ever since I’m preg. Is it a concern? Anyone experienced it too#firsttimemom #advicepls
- 2023-10-30Hi, my son has injured himself in playgroup CC at least 3 times within the past 2 months. Either by falling down or getting bitten / scratched by his friends. Would like to check if it’s normal is there anything I can do to highlight the school to be more observant of this matter?
- 2023-10-30I am a month PP would like to know. I dont wish to get pregnant again. If we do the deed on non ovulation days, wear condom and pull out before ejaculate, is there still chance of getting pregnant ?
When using condom do you let you husband cum inside you or pull out still?

- 2023-10-30This is my first pregnancy and gg to 6 weeks in a few days. Usually I won’t have any symptoms until it’s night time but it’s always just cramps or tender breasts however today I feel so dizzy and nauseous but I couldn’t vomit and it’s making me so uncomfortable plus my head hurts from being so dizzy.
Is this what morning sickness feels like?
- 2023-10-30Hi mummies! I just did my scan at week 24. Baby Head circumference and long bones were found to be behind GA at around 22 weeks. But baby weight is around 25 weeks.. Gynae said that it's not a concern and told me to reduce carbs.. Just wondering if anyone had similar experience?
- 2023-10-30My baby is 7 months old and she sweats the whole day, even when she sleeps in an aircon room.
Doctor say it's normal but she can sweat wet her pillow.
What can I do to stop her sweating, especially when she is sleeping thru the night?
- 2023-10-30Hi fellow mummies,
I just wanted to get some tips from you guys on sleep management and food consumption.
Right now I am 33 weeks and I keep having indigestion. The food doesn’t digest as fast as it used to and I keep having food coming up in my throat. Is there any way to help cope with this?
Also, sleeping is hard. I prefer sleeping on the right side as my baby will protest if I sleep on the left side. Is it normal? Everywhere on google recommends left side and I’ve been trying to rest on the left but it’s getting harder each day.

- 2023-10-30Hi mommies , I just went for my 20 weeks scan and all is well, doctor said baby is slightly on a bigger side. I was gaining 0.5kg weekly from week 19-21, however my weight remains the same at week 22. Should I be worried ? Is my baby not growing?
- 2023-10-30My boy has been drinking lesser milk nowadays, rarely finish a bottle of milk(supposedly 180ml/bottle) twice a day. Have been eating 2-3 meals a day. It is it normal? So afraid that he change his diet or his own, taking lesser milk at his age

- 2023-10-31Hi mommies. I’m currently in week 17 and my last appointment is week 12. At first i didn’t really think much when my gynea told me next appointment is 8 weeks later ( week 20) But some of my friends say theirs is 4 weeks apart. So I’m getting quite anxious as it has been so long. I dont know if anyone is same case like
- 2023-10-31Hello! I find that it’s actually more comfortable to lie on my back so that the ache from my shoulders go away, rather than on the side. Is it safe?
- 2023-10-31Those mummies that went thru csect, how long did you continue using your binder ? Is it normal to still wear binder even after confinement or 1.5 months. I feel like it helps to keep everything together esp with a saggy bulging tummy
- 2023-10-31This is my 1st pregnancy and I am feeling overwhelmed by waiting, there was a light yellow discharge for two days, and have been having little discharge, but I don’t have any bloody show, I’m tired and exhausted from having this baby in me, I feel so heavy and uncomfortable and I’ve been crying a lot for past few days. Like randomly cry throughout the day. My emotions are at the peak.
My due is on 1st, but if nothing happens and if I have to wait for 41 weeks to be induced, I have very little help as my helper is going to leave coming month, and I won’t have much help during my recovery, I am so worried.
- 2023-10-31Hello mummies , how do u feed ur LO with soy formula? My LO is 8 months old and having fever along with diarrhoea. PD recommend to drink soy formula but my LO refuse to drink even when i mix it tgt with her milk formula 🥲 Bought Isomil for her btw...

- 2023-10-31Hi, I would like to get some advice here. My husband have been traveling and he has an upcoming trip (close to 2 weeks) to be away. We have been quarreling on this point and it’s affecting our relationship as I feel unsupported in my pregnancy. It’s tough balancing being a supportive wife as it’s a legit biz trip vs meeting my own needs as I am a more anxious first time mum. Currently in trimester 2z
Any advice would be appreciated!
- 2023-10-31I was expecting a normal delivery, but I am wondering, if let’s say, I have not gone into labour yet, can I request for a C sect at week 40? Has anyone done that? Currently I’m under NUH.
- 2023-10-31I’m wondering if 2 months if enough maternity leave before I go back to work. I feel I’m the sort who can’t be cooped up at home too long. Was thinking of breaking up my ML 2 months den work 2 months den another 2 months ML. Fully intend to try expressing milk even at work too
- 2023-11-01Hi moms, my baby is 12 months 15 days. He's been sleeping in his own cot since he was 1 month but for the past 3 days, he would wake up at night and cry to sleep in our bed. And he sleeps so deep and long in our bed, didn't even wake up when his pacifier drop.
Is this regression? Will he go back to his own routine? Or is it time to get for him a new bed?
Please advise. Im a new mother
- 2023-11-01Im living with my in-laws, waiting for our house to be ready next year. Recently the aircon units broke down more frequently, its causing all of us (including me and hb) a lot of inconveniences and in laws are thinking of replacing all the old aircon which may involve repiping and more extensive works to the house. Also better for me and the baby in the future. But I was warned by others that it is a bane to do any major works to the place I stay throughout my pregnancy. I must avoid it at all cost (not just keep away from the Reno site during Reno period but if Reno, I should totally move out of the house for the rest of my pregnancy??). How serious is this?? What should I do to deal with both side of things
I feel bad for causing inconvenience to the household but I can’t ignore what I heard about the pantang for the sake of the baby…

- 2023-11-01Is it true that they say baby boy drinks more milk more often ?
My 6 weeks old baby boy born @ 3kg and now is 4.9kg, fully formula fed and drinking 80ml/feed. First few weeks he used to drink every 3hr then it changed to mostly every 2hrs and recently past few days its only 1.5hr bt he’s already crying for milk and nothing can console him. I try to drag time by consoling him or taling to him, rock him, walk walk but nothing works, he keep crying and showing hungry cue. Like searching for nipple etc.
Should i still give him if he demand even if its only 1.5hr? Mostly during daytime. Nightime after 11/12pm he would usually cry 3-4hrs.
Im scared im overfeeding him and itll lead to health issue.
But if according to calculation weight x150ml, he’s still within the range. Just that im scared of keep feeding him less than 2hrs. Since they say babies always feed 2-3hrs.
Anyone facing same thing too?
- 2023-11-01If my baby farts alot does that mean he’s gassy? Does ridwind or gripe water works for gassy baby?
- 2023-11-01Hi mummies, need some help here! Looking for a suitable pregnancy insurance and baby insurance to cover the baby for life, critical illness, hospitalisation and accident. Any recommendations? What do you all buy?
- 2023-11-01Does any of mummies here their child also love to stick with the father more than mummy? My baby has been crying and fussing alot these days. I cant seem to pacify him, only my husband. When baby can even recognise my husband's voice and he can go quiet instantly. My baby also loves to be carried by my husband too. Im quite sad about this, does that mean my baby wont look for me anymore? #firstbaby #advicepls #firsttimemom
- 2023-11-01I'm currently with my private gynae. We have been with him pre-pregnancy and he has been really great and professional all this time. But recently during the 16weeks scan, his clinic shared the antenatal and doctors fees, but due to financial constraints, we've decided not to continue on with the clinic, which is quite unfortunate. For those mummies who have had to switch gynae halfway, is this a common thing where you don't follow through with the same gynae till the end? Did you also get anything for your previous gynae before the change? FTM mom here and unsure of so many things! 😅
- 2023-11-01Can I just wipe dry my pump after washing when I’m in the office? Or do we have to sterilize?
- 2023-11-01My LO is 8m. Suddenly, he doesn’t want to eat. Been offering him different types of food, but he rejects. Previous months when first start solids, he was okay with accepting food. Suddenly he only prefers his baby biscuits and milk.
What can I do to make him want to eat? Should I be worried at all if he doesn’t want to it? #advicepls #firsttimemom
- 2023-11-01Hi mummies! I’m 34weeks along. My baby was head down from Wk 20 all the way up till Week 30’s check. But during the recent scan at Wk 34, baby is lying at transverse position.
Has any mummies done ECV at KKH? What are the cost or procedures for sub patient? Do share your experience please ☹️
Was told that if during the next scan at Wk 36, if baby is still not heads down, I’ll need to do an ECV or choose C-Sect.
- 2023-11-01How many weeks after csect did you go back to your normal routine of doing house chores like mopping, vacumming etc as sometimes need to squat or bend down

- 2023-11-01Would you give up your seat for another pregnant lady? But you yourself is pregnant too. Or would you be brave to get someone to give up?
- 2023-11-01Is it normal for babies to sleep while we’re holding them, but once we put them down theyll cry non stop even after patting and shuushing etc. Did put buttocks down first and put my hand on his chest once he’s laid down.
Any tips to make baby still sleep when putting them down? My baby is 6 weeks old. My baby hates carrier, be it those konny type or ergobaby so we would always need to hold him by hand
- 2023-11-01Hi mummies, i’ve been having white creamy discharge but not so much. Is it normal? Do you all encounter it too?
- 2023-11-01I was not fastened with seatbelt at the backseat as it was just a short distance (like a 10mins drive to reach destination). I didn’t expect to experience the shock of my life where the driver step onto e-brake and I almost hit against the front seat!
Luckily my tummy didn’t slam against anything. But I got the bad shock and my tummy has this very cramp feeling.
May I know if I should ignore it (I’m currently 14w) and monitor.. or should I go see doc just to be assured? Not sure if I’m thinking too much.
- 2023-11-01Dear mummies, may i know or any suggestion, what type of repellent do you use when you house has mosquito? I have 2 toddler and one 3 weeks newborn.. my both toddler has been always got bites on their hands and legs during night time sleep... as for my baby, sleep separately in baby cot with net.. please give me suggestion... #pleasehelp #advicepls

- 2023-11-01Hi mummies.. is there anyone here that ever used a service of a confinement nanny?? Can anyone share the range of price for one?
My husband and i are expat and we dont feel like having live in nanny/ maid, we also far from family so it will be only two of us taking care of the newborn later on. #advicepls
- 2023-11-02I have been sleeping on my left as I heard it’s better.. but sometimes I really have trouble falling asleep on my left as sleeping in the same position make my back hurt.. so I would turn to the right once awhile.. I just wonder if I need to see a gynae because last night when I turn to the right, my stomach hurt but I am so tired that I fell asleep ..when I wake up, I was sleeping on my right, and when I try to turn, I feel “stucked” for awhile and my stomach cramped for awhile before I have the flexibility to turn to the other side again.. is it normal?#firsttimemom #advicepls #advicepls
- 2023-11-02My baby is 1 month old and i realise he always have like white stringy “loose threads” around his hand esp his palm. Like those from clothes. Anyone knows whats that? And is it normal ? It kind of comes off from his skin?
- 2023-11-02What does feed on demand means? My baby usually feed every 2-3 hours but alot of times by 1 or 1.5hr he’s already asking for milk. Sometimes can even hear his stomach growl? By feeding on demands means give milk whenever he ask ? He’s formula fed, 1.5 months, 90ml
- 2023-11-02My 2 months old baby will be starting infant care next month. They gave us list of things to bring, which includes bib. Just want to know mummies out there do you use the U shape bib or the V shape bib? Cause at home we usually only use burp cloth, rarely bibs.
- 2023-11-02Is it normal for baby (1 month) to spill milk all over his mouth & chin everytime when drinking milk from bottle ? Baby is bottle formula fed.
- 2023-11-02Is it normal for the area around incision to still be sore even after 6 weeks ? Esp when touched or press. Like the top and bottom around incision/around pubic.
And sometimes the area around incision and incision itself feels “crampy” every now and then, esp after sitting or laying in bed for too long eg sleeping. Cause they say by 6 weeks you should already recover
- 2023-11-02If i dont do tummy time early (1 month onwards) or dont do it regularly, will it hinder my baby’s neck strength and development ? I feel like some days im too tired that ill just rest or play my phone when baby’s awake and not crying.
- 2023-11-02For sparkletots infant care, will they shower our baby? If yes, do we need to bring our own shower gel or do they use theirs? What brand are they using

- 2023-11-02Hello! Was wondering roughly how many scans will be done and at which weeks usually? For what it’s worth, I’m under KKH subsidised route.
- 2023-11-02Hello Mummies, my baby boy had his first jab 2 months ago and the bum is swelling. Today, we found out that its bleeding a little (like pimple). Is this normal? Or should I be worried?
- 2023-11-02Hi mommies, does anyone experience vaginal itching especially at the vaginal lips? Currently I'm 26 weeks and I noticed an increase in vaginal discharge hence I usually wear a pantyliner and change during the day and at night I will wear a pad and sleep. But I'm also experiencing severe itching throughout the day. I'm trying my best not to scratch but sometimes it's so hard not to. I don't think I have any infection and I have recently changed to a feminine wash so the itching had reduced significantly but it's still there. How do I get rid of it?#firstbaby #firsttimemom #pleasehelp

- 2023-11-02Hi, im on my first trimester. Very early stage of my pregnancy at 4-5 weeks. Already had my flight booked before knowing i was preganant. But it will be a short flight est at 3 hours. Will it be ok?
- 2023-11-02Hi... just wanted to ask what are your thoughts of going to a concert (Eric Chou) at 24 weeks pregnant. I did ask my Gynae and her nurse told me to avoid as she's afraid of people pushing. However my seat is seated and she said the main concern is physical. Bought the very ex tickets earlier and thinking if I could just go earlier and leave earlier to avoid the crowd. Anyone has any thoughts? Much appreciated... thanks :)
- 2023-11-02Hi any mummies can share at what age do you send your LO for phonics class?
- 2023-11-02Hi mummies, I’d like to get your opinions on the pros and cons of vaginal birth and c-sect for mummies who have experienced either or both. I’m currently 34 weeks and my baby is still breeched. I’ve always imagined having a vaginal birth but now my gynae seems to be mentally preparing me for a c-sect (he’s not keen on ECV). I’d like to experience a vaginal delivery but now may not be possible :(

- 2023-11-02First time mum here. Currently 33 weeks. Can already feel baby pushing down on cervix and pelvis, increased braxton hicks contraction, and having loose stool for a few days now. Should this be of any concern that an early labour might be happening? Should I go to the hospital?

- 2023-11-02How do you deal with husbands who need constant reminding to do anything at all?
For example, you ask them to do something and you've been asking for months but it never gets done. When you remind, he constantly tries to close the topic and says he will do it, but STILL it never gets done!
Of course I'm able to do it myself but that is hardly the solution.
Is the only solution me doing everything instead of asking him? Is there any other solution? This has been the theme of our arguments and I've been telling him nicely to please not let me beg multiple times for everything. He says he will try his best but still it happens. And the worst part, when I finally reach my limit (after reminding for a gazillion times), he tries to shut me off and cannot comprehend why I am upset. Instead he starts getting angry cos I'm upset and this goes into full blown argument. It's a vicious cycle and I'm so tired of this.
I'm at my wits end. I've tried everything. Speaking nicely, reminding nicely, putting notes.. even doing the things I ask him myself, thinking that he will feel the guilt and won't repeat his behaviour. But still nothing changes! Sometimes (only sometimes) things get done after I get really really upset at him. But I don't want that to be the solution. I don't want arguments to be the solution of him finally doing things. Sigh.
If you've experienced this, what have you done that made changes in your partner's behaviour.
P/s: I'm due in a month and I'm stressed out cos there's so many things pending and he has not been helping me out, taking the stress away from me. I feel like I'm in charge of everything and my head is going to explode, otherwise nothing gets done. I genuinely want to sit back and just focus on my upcoming birth.

- 2023-11-03#firstmom Hello, anyone’s had experience dealing with silent reflux in babies? My LO is 7 week old and she is constantly in pain especially at night. I’m currently DL her so I’m not sure if it’s smth I ate or the position (I have fast letdowns altho bb seems to be handling that quite well).
I’ve tried propping up her bed, keeping her up for 15mins before putting her down etc but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Does AR formula works? If yes I’ll give up latching/bf entirely just for her to be comfortable

- 2023-11-03I sought help from Rejoice Pregnancy for my breastfeeding difficulties recently. As a first time mom, naturally I requested a lactation consultation with them first before deciding to sign on any package.
However, not only did I not receive the proper support I needed (painful latching, sore nipples and milk supply), I came out of the session in tears, feeling extremely disrespected and insulted.
During the one hour of consult, the consultant made hurtful and unfriendly remarks about my readiness to be a mom, my weight/belly, and unnecessary comments about the support system I have at home. Never once did she try to observe my baby at all and how our latching experience is.
These were unhelpful and painful to hear. She also made me make an absolute decision if I wanted to breastfeed directly or do exclusive pumping - this is not true or right as plenty of moms do a combination of both.
I feel responsible to share my experience so that other moms can be aware and make an informed choice before engaging help for lactation. No other moms should be subjected to such treatment (even as a one-time customer and not a package buyer). It is dangerous and damaging to our mental well-being during such a stressful period.
I earnestly encourage all mummies to seek PROFESSIONAL and PROPERLY CERTIFIED help (eg. IBCLC) to assist you in your lactation challenges. I did engage a private IBCLC for a one-time consult and that has drastically improved my situation.
P.S. I have written a feedback directly to the company. Their response was disappointing and did not indicate specific actions they will take to rectify this.

- 2023-11-03Hi I'm due in a month.
For context, I'm separating with my husband. It has been a toxic and abusive marriage and its only gotten worse since I got pregnant. I do not want him in labour room.
I only have my in laws here. My family is overseas.
Of course having in law in the labour room is out of the question given that we are separating.
I was intending to have natural delivery (with no epidural) and initially thought my husband would be the emotional support during labour.
Now it looks like I'll be doing it alone.
Is this possible? I know kkh nurses only check dilation every 4 hours. Does that mean within that 4 hours, I'll be alone?
Another option was doula but its pricey (1.5k ++)
To mummies who delivered alone (with or without epidural), how was your experience? I just need to know whether I can do it.
P/s: my pain tolerance is terrible but I'm more afraid of epidurals side effect. I need to have natural delivery to take care of my child since I won't have any help during confinement too.

It’s been a day I could barely walk without feeling pain. Can only sit or lay down. No spotting or abnormal discharge. Is the pain supposed to last so long? Should self medicate with pain relief med?

- 2023-11-04Hi Mummies,
Just wanted to find out more on what’s normal and what’s a red flag that I’ve to consult my gynae- after sex there’s vaginal pain and kinda burns when peeing. Not sure if it’s due to the changes in hormones or cuz there’s an infection(?) but also been feeling quite swollen below during this period but no peeing issue till after sex.
Thanks for answering in advance!

- 2023-11-04Has anyone ever got pregnant with condom on?
- 2023-11-04Did not have any breastmilk for first 4 days and baby was at risk of jaudice coz no intake. So we started giving formula milk. Now that BM has kicked in, we wanted feed baby BM together with FM (coz BM amount still very low) but baby is rejecting the BM (cries when we feed BM), so we mixed BM and FM. After an hour of feeding, baby kept crying... how to get baby to go back to BM and away from FM? Would like to exclusively feed BM after amount is huge enough to support full BF.
