For some reason sometimes i feel some kind of pain in my vagina or feel like my pubic area is “bloated” whenever my bladder is full or i need to pee. But no pain when peeing.

2023-10-23Hi mummies~ anyone’s hubby dun put in as much or worry as much for your LO? During my maternity, my hubby hardly feeds baby, come back from work also hardly play with baby. Even though I know he loves our baby very very much. Now I’m just back to work from maternity, I kept checking security cameras (only my maid n baby at home. knowing my maid is a phone addict, I will check Incase), but my hubby seems to be so relax.. he doesn’t checks. 2023-10-23Hi parents! Just out of curiosity, is there anyone that has an experience of your kid being afraid of shoes? Like to see them and then put the shoes near their feet, the toddler will be crying? I have a 14 month old girl who is currently behaving this way. She's only starting to learn to walk at home and at infant care, bare feet. So I would like to prepare her to be able to walk out in the public in future. So she definitely need some footwear. Kotex maternity pads is only 30cm and I think it would be really uncomfortable putting two on to increase the length. What worked best for you? 2023-10-23I was prescribed cabergoline to stop breast milk production as I’m returning to work after maternity leave. Have anyone tried this method before? Was told not to stimulate the breast after taking the medication, but both my breast are so sore and full. Is this normal? If yes, how long does it take for the soreness and fullness to go away? Possible to use cold compress? Would this lead to mastitis?

2023-10-25Hi parents! Teacher from IFC just feedback to me that baby doesn’t want to socialise in school. It took her some time to go towards the toys whereas other babies immediately went over to the toys when placed in front of them. My baby will cry when the teacher starts to leave her sight. My baby will also cry the kids there starts to play with her sometimes. She is currently almost 9 months and has been in ifc for almost 2 months but not able to adapt yet :( Any tips or any mummies experiencing the same thing? Everytime when i wanna fetch my baby, there will always be negative feedback from the teachers sigh.

2023-10-25My baby is 1 month 1 week and full FM. He’s feeding on 60-80ml every 2-3 hours (usually by the 2nd hour he’s already crying for milk) during the day, but at night, he would usually only wake up every 3+ or 4 hours. So usually at night (after 12am) we would only feed him when he’s crying for milk which usually is like every 4hours. Is that ok? Recently we went to polyclinic and he’s still gaining quite a good number of weight, which doc said he’s gaining a good weight and also his height and head circumference is good. 3kg at birth, 4.4kg @ 1 month old. Can i still continue to feed him every 4 hrs at night? #firsttimemom

Im so worried im at week 5 almost 6, and i still have pain every now and then at incision and also lower abdomen/tummy. My lower tummy is also still hard? Not sure is the muscle or what I went to gynae last week and she said my incision healing well and scanned my internal looks fine. 2023-10-27Hi MTBs/Mummies Gynae prescribed 150mg of aspirin, was told to take 1.5 pill and discard the 0.5 pill. I’m confused on why is there a need to throw the half pill away as it’s wasted. Also, why am I prescribed 150mg instead of 100mg? I’m worried about the dosage not being right if I cut the pill, as there is no line indication on where to cut. Anyone had similar experience?

2023-10-27since yesterday, my 1 month old baby 4.5kg keep crying after every feeding. He’s on full formula drinking 80ml every 2 hours. Before this he would either sleep or be full after feed but i dont know why, since yesterday everytime after feed he would cry. Like wanting more milk? I try not to give more as even for 80ml theres constant spit ups, even paediatrician asks to try reduce to 60ml, if he really ask for more milk then we can topup another 10-20ml. Even after burp he would continue crying. Diaper is not soiled. Stomach is not hard. Everytime he cries he would kick and arc his back.
2023-10-27I feel useless. I went thru csect on sept and still in pain. Altho i can still get up, walk etc, my lower tummy is still very much sore. Since the start most of the time, my husband is the one that would need to handle baby, especially when he cry. Or my mum or in law would help. 2023-10-27I went to kkh o&g this morning. Bcos i found what tat call spotting on my pantyliner yesterday night brownish on pantyliner when wipe with tissue i saw red accompanied with white discharge. This morning my first pee i see nothing on my pantyliner but wipe with tissue theres blood. Today doctor scan my vagina he say he can’t find what caused the bleeding. All he see is an empty sac. Say i gave wrong calculation. By right I should be 6 week base on doc is 5 week. Doctor not prescribed any medication just continue with my folic acid n come bck after 2 weeks.. now i still see brown discharge. Im starting to worried im starting to feel sad but I don’t wana spoil my day n mood.
2023-10-27Hi Mummies, I accidentally clipped my 1mth old baby skin while trimming his nails. I feel so bad right now cause it's bleeding I'm not sure how deep it is but definitely like a cut. I feel extremely low right now cause I wasn't careful. I'm feeling pain from his pain I have a nail buffer but this is one of the days I never thought well and went ahead to use a clipper because the nail were quite long. I put pressure on the cut and plastered it. Is there anything else I have to take note? I'm so upset with myself for this accident! 😥😓🥺

2023-10-27She would hardly sleep. She sleeps less than an hour at one go, drinks milk inconsistently - sometimes a lot, sometimes a little bit, at very different timings, would cry and fuss a lot, even when I pick her up. Not sure what to do... Any advice?
2023-10-27Received our OSCAR test results and results show high risk more than 1:50 for fetal Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21)😢 Doc suggested to do either CVS or amniocentesis to confirm the diagnosis. (Or none if we chose to keep baby regardless.) But both are invasive and will have some risk of miscarriage. Hub and I thinking if NIPT (Harmony or Panorama) is an option instead of invasive methods. Anyone experienced someth similar? Should we go for invasive directly or NIPT? #advicepls #firsttimemom
2023-10-27Hi mummies My baby is 2.5 months old This week she never ask for milk when she is awake, but when it’s time (3-4hours interval) i try to feed her but she cry murder and refuse milk!! The only way i can feed her now is let her sleep then i dream feed her even in the day - this way she finish the milk🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I tried not to dream feed her in the day, result is she can dont drink for 6 hours straight and never ask for milk Plus she is entering ifc soon, what if they dont know how to handle her and in the end never feed her properly? Anyone experience the same? If it’s a phase how long will it last? Or is there any tips on how to handle this? It is definitely not the teat issue cos the moment the milk drop from its teat she cry and angry, refuse milk. But when i put pacifier she is ok
2023-10-27I was told we should change diaper every 2-3 hours up to baby 3 months old. What if baby turn older? Can i change it every 5-6 hours then? Currently using offspring and rascal n friends. Offspring has better absorption

2023-10-28My baby was born with neck tightness so it may caused delay along the way. But now her neck and head is way better but she still doesn’t crawl or pull to stand. Keep going therapy and treatment but the doc say is not necessary to crawl but if don’t pull to stand by 11-12 month it shows developmental delay. I don’t know what to do. Each baby have their own milestone isn’t it?
2023-10-28Hello! I have gotten fever along with flu and cough passed from my husband. As i know myself, my cough tend to take some time to recover. Sometimes up to 1 month or 2. If i wasnt pregnant, i would have consumed all kind of meds and lozenges to help ease the sore throat and cough. But since i am 10 weeks pregnant now, what are the remedies to help me recover fast from my potentially another series of prolonged cough? Ive been trying my bes to hold on to my cough, drink lots of lukewarm water and such. Any reccomendations on lozenges and cough syrups? #pleasehelp

2023-10-28This is my first time exceeding and Im currently at 38weeks 2days with no sign. My first was born at 37weeks 6days naturally waterbroke at home & pushed out within 45mins when in SGH. My second born at 37weeks 4days cause upon checkup, doc said im already dialated 4cm hence laboured early and pushed out after 4hr of contraction started. (Total in labour 12hrs cause no sign for the first 9hrs). Both experienced no inducing and normal V delivery. I am very worried. Last week I was only 37weeks 2days and doc said Im only 1cm stretch. Baby is good and normal. Waterbag lvl too seems normal. This 31st will be my checkup and I really hope my cervix dilated at least 4cm-5cm or more. Any mommy facing the similarity and what adv did your doc share? What options etc that we will be given? Do share your experience.
2023-10-28Our daughter has never been a good drinker, always refusing the bottle, pursing lips, turning head or body away. She’s 6months and on good days she manages 700ml. But she seems to drink at infant care based on the daily reports! We started sleep training and are trying to move to eat - play - sleep but she’s refusing the bottle even more now and with a whole lot more energy (accumulated from sleep). It’s the first few days and the consultant says it’ll take a while for the feeding to adjust, but it’s day 3 and she’s had less than 500ml each day. We’re just worried she’s not getting enough and this might not settle - any insights or past similar experiences to share and remedies? Adding on that we have started solids but it’s just a few teaspoons of purée a day. #firsttimemom
