2023-07-10I used to take milk for pregnant/lactating mothers, but had been getting the runs + gas postpartum from consuming milk products. (Now at week 4 going to 5th) And had been producing less breastmilk recently as I am very lost on what alternatives I can take to increase my supply without drastically hurting my wallet. (I find the ones available in the market are a little on the pricey side.) Would like to seek advice on what alternatives that are safe for post C-section I can get in Singapore in order for me to be properly supplemented? 2023-07-10Im currently 30 weeks and now that im in 3rd trim i realised baby’s kicks gets lesser compared to 2nd trim, there is still kick every now and then, however baby moves most of the time, changing position, wriggling, etc. but when it kicks, the kick can be quite hard. But the kicks are not as often as during 2nd trim. If that makes sense. I honestly dont count the kicks cs i feel baby moving most of the time. Is this normal ? Anything i should be worried about ? #FTM

2023-07-10Hi mummies, seeking yr tghts on my concerns. Im on my 14th weeks and its has been close to 2weeks that ive choose to not take obimin. Typically bcoz i felt that every time i take tbe obimin, im experiencing with nausea, fatigue, morning sickness and its kind of bothering me. Ive highlighted to a gynae before and was adv to take it only at night to feel lesser side effects. Bt it proves me wrong coz the side effects kicks in d nxt morning. I am partially guilty for nt taking it coz im on a high risk pregnancy bt taking it is taking a big toll of me. I feel so down and tired. My mom is staying with us, and she is typical asian who prefer home cook foods. i was like one and off we can have outside foord or dabao foods so that she can rest. whenever she eta dabao food, her face like charcoal or like i force her to eat poison like that. whenever we ordered outside food, she next day want to challege and cook it as if her cook is nicer. i mean maybe is a good intention and efforts or save money, but occasionally, we wanted to have some msg in life…. is your mom like that too? i feel abit irritated tbh.. #Frustrated

2023-07-10Hello!! I’ve actually heard many mummies said that they could feel those early pregnancy symptoms even before they did their pregnancy test. Is that very common? I am 3 days late for my period, but i dont feel any symptoms as of now.. no breast tenderness, nausea or anything. 2023-07-12I am 29 weeks pregnant. Mummies, how do we know if we are experiencing Braxton hicks? when i walk a lil longer than usual or did not get sufficient rest. I get this really bad abdominal pain coming from the side of my tummy. N i cant walk for as long as the pain is there. N when i rest, i feel better. But when i start to walk again, it starts to hurt all over again. At times, i just cry in pain.

2023-07-12Hi moms I may need help? I have an 18 months toddler and basically, I’ve been solo parenting all my toddler’s life bcos my husband was incapable and refuse to be capable. I’ve been cheated on when I was pregnant, fell into ppd and now just surviving my days with my toddler making sure I don’t die before my toddler. ANW! Life has been so difficult since I got married to him bcos my mom didn’t liked him and I got forced into marrying him but it has happened and I’m way past that. Except that I find myself dreaming about my previous ex and read up old convos just to make myself feel better. Technically, in my head that’s cheating. But it’s so weird that I can relive the entire happiness with my ex and feel like I’m myself back then. I don’t know if motherhood changed me but idk how to get over this especially since my ex has recently been engaged. And my husband doesn’t treat both my child and I like family. Cause everything will focus on baby. And im scared itll grow us apart. 2023-07-13Sharing my own experience for SG mommies. During my initial pregnancy, I was put on bed rest. For peace of mind and wanting to have more nutritious food, I found this company online which advertised themselves as providing pregnancy meals catering. (Co. name is pregnancy meals catering pte ltd) I paid S$900+ for 14days lunch and dinner service. On the first day, wrong items (even though I checked and confirmed with them my dietary restrictions could be met before I placed order) arrived for both meals. On the 2nd day, meals arrived late. Lunch at 220pm and dinner at 830pm, despite telling me it will be on time after lunch came late. I had to order grab food as I was really hungry and not knowing will their meals even arrive. So these meals I rejected when they finally came. Having to deal with these additional stress(and hunger) while I’m already stressing abt my pregnancy. I told them I will like to terminate the remaining unused days and be refunded the same. It took me 2 days to finally get someone call me back. The person agreed to check and call me back with resolution soon. But after that, they ignored all my messages, stopped replying and no call back. I tried calling back the same number, my calls were ignored. I brought this up to CASE, they did not respond to CASE too and now I’ve filed a claim with Small Claims Tribunals. The money paid is secondary, but I can’t get over how unethical this company is, and especially preying on pregnant moms whom usually have many worries on our minds as it is, not to mention those of us going through some other worrying conditions. I hope this can prevent more mommies becoming potential victims of this company.

2023-07-13Ftm here. Ill be delivering at KKH in sept. Read alot of people went thru long hours of labour, especially if its their first pregnancy. Assuming ill be having a normal delivery. Since i have zero experience, Is there anything i should expect or take note of during labour ? Do we pee and poo as per normal in between ? As im the type that pees and poo very easily. Heard that by 8cm or something they wont allow us to use the bathroom, what if we need to pee/poo? Since labour is long hours, are we allowed to eat anything ? And how often will nurse check on us, our dilation etc. Is there instances where im already 10cm dilated but nurse or dr is not in the room? And how long do you usually need to push before baby is out and any tips for minimal tear? #FTM

2023-07-13I just went for my 28 week growth scan, so far all going well. My next appointment is on my 32nd week, under KKH. Usually whats the appointment about ? Is it just checking baby’s hearbeat using the doppler ? Or will there be scan too? As it only shows ill be going to consultation room instead of those ADC/AMC. 2023-07-1330 weeks now. Baby kicks so painfully, and so much.. I already nauseous without baby's kicks, and with the baby's activeness, I throw up at least 2 times a day... can't eat properly at all... By then, I would have delivered my baby for less than a month. Do you think its right that he goes? Its not impt at all, but he wants to go. 2023-07-14Hi all. Did my igene nipt at NUH on 3 July. Called igene lab and they told me that they had sent NUH my nipt results on 12 July. Haven't heard anything from the clinic. Very anxious because my FTS was high risk. Tried calling and emailing for the results but havent heard back. My follow up with the clinic is on 19 July but the wait is awful. I know KKH only calls if there's an issue. Anyone knows if this is the case with NUH? I would think NUH would also call if there was bad news. Hoping for some answers to calm my nerves. Thanks!
