2023-05-22Went for appointment just to check baby's heart beat. The doctor was trying to find the location of the baby and she couldnt find it 😐but managed to locate and heard the fast heart beating. The baby is at the lower side of my uterus all these while. The 1st time she located, I thought she knew coz i heard the heart beat actually. As subsidized patient, this is what you get for getting different doctor for every appointment 🙃
2023-05-22I will be sending my baby to infant care in Aug (4months old by then) and idk how much BM i should pack. I realised what I pump is not equivalant to what baby can drink. 2023-05-22This is my first pregnancy, expecting a boy and currently 23 weeks coming to 6 months. Im petite, like a poly student 😅 but my baby bump is starting to grow big and im insecure about it. I look like a whale whenever i wear dress or skirt 😣 im insecure about my body. 2023-05-22Hi Mummies, My 2 months old baby boy used to sleep atleast 3 hours a stretch at night but yesterday suddenly he didn’t sleep even for 1 hour continuously. He didn’t cry but whenever we put him to bed, he will get up in like 40 mins or so. I want to ask if this is normal ? Not sure why this sudden change. 2023-05-22Baby is 5 months old now. She’s very used to breastfeeding. However in the past 2 weeks, she would latch on for 3-6minutes and stop wanting milk even after trying a while later. She has up to 8 wet diapers a day. Is she getting enough nutrients? Anyone has the same experience?

2023-05-22Hi mamas, I’m a FTM and I’m going back to work next month. Of course if I have a choice I would rather stay at home and care for my own baby. The arrangement when I start work is that my own mum will care for my baby during the weekdays. But then my MIL suddenly insist that she wants to take care of my baby as well during her off days. (She’s still working btw). I do not have any issues with her previously but then she does not have any experience taking care of a baby. I’m staying with my MIL btw and so far she doesn’t even do the basic routine care like changing of diapers/showering or making milk for my baby. How can I entrust my baby with her if she does not even know the basic routine care? Likewise she’s in her 60s and I’m afraid she’s not strong enough to handle my baby and if anything were to happen, who’s going to be responsible? Can you see my dilemma? I’m trying not to be stressed out about this matter but then how could I? If you’re in my shoes, what would to do, any advice 😭

2023-05-22I feel so lonely during my pregnancy so far (16 weeks) because my hubby’s lifestyle is still the same as pre-pregnancy e.g. goes out drinking almost daily, travels often for work. He’s great when we meet over the weekends (still waiting for bto) but I feel so selfish and clingy when I bring this up to him because I’m not sure what is the solution that would make us better. I know he’s trying to cope mentally with being a new dad too but I don’t want to look back at this pregnancy and only remember feeling sad and lonely. Did anyone experience this too and how did you deal with this?

2023-05-22i'm a young mom w c&c of my kid (4yo). ive been feeling down n suicidal recently. theres no specific reason, but rather an accumulation of everything that has happened to me. honestly, the only reason im still here is because of my kid. and its a vicious cycle, i think about how if i'm gone its gonna affect my LO, then i get more depressed then i think of LO then it repeats. my current relationship is of no help too, my partner only makes me feel worse about myself and constantly put me down. My parents don't know whats going on and they will never understand. honestly i dont think my depression ever went away during my pregnancy up till today. Im really struggling everyday, i cant afford to see a counsellor or therapist. i'm earning a 1k job for myself n my kid. im rly at wits end.

2023-05-23Hi mums, I’m currently 8wks 5 days according to my tracker but when I went gynae last week, she said it was 6wks according to size of the sac. 1 week later today, went back again and increase size of sac but still empty no heart beat. She told me it’s a 50% chance of silent miscarriage…. To see another gynae at NUH for second opinion another week later …. Anyone experience this before?

2023-05-23Hi mummies! My LO is currently 3.5months old now and i notice she’s getting really fussier especially in the late afternoon onwards and she takes very short afternoon naps. Also, as for night routine, usually she’ll be able to sleep right after her milk, but now we will have to soothe her to sleep (rock, walk, you name it) or even use pacifier. However, she’ll still be able to sleep for about 6-8 hours every night. Is this sleep regression?

However, gynae did not do any blood tests before prescribing the pills. Haha my choice of food depends on how I’m feeling every day, but on bad days I just survive on pregnancy milk powder and bread. Some of the more unusual cravings I have are: fried beansprouts and Soon Kueh! I’ve always eaten these before I got preggers, but I’m surprised I can crave for fried beansprouts this much! Separately - does anyone experience digestive system upsets during their first tri? I read that it’s common to get constipation but I seem to be on the opposite end of the spectrum (in quite a bad way).

I am alr quite big pre-pregnancy (ard 68kg) and I’m absolutely terrified of being huge from the pregnancy because I know it’ll be hard to shed the weight. I read up on google that my 2 going 3 weeks old in 3 days time should be drinking 120ml per feed however when I gradually increased to 90ml at 2 weeks, he will only drink 60ml. Every feed I’ll do 90ml but he will always drink exactly at 60ml every 2 hours up to this date. What should I do? What is worst when your spouse doesn't give a fling and think it is just a small matter. All he does is to tell you "loose your f*ckin weight" calling you fat & ugly. 2023-05-24I just started my new job and the job has been flexible. The initial first 2 weeks are return to office fully to get to know the colleagues, subsequently is return 3 days a week to office, and i get to start early end early too as long i got my work done. However, my 16 months old son recently fell sick and has been coughing, he usually goes to infant care. So yesterday i have to leave early from work at like 2pm to pick him up from school. I feel guilty both side at work and as a mom, and feel so conflicted. But my baby is definitely my priority no matter what. I’m always the one that fly back home whenever there’s any thing yet my husband can take it easy which I’m upset as well. I just needed his support these 2 weeks. 2023-05-25I read online and by other mothers that at this point it only feels like flutters and gas bubbles, and will feel like real kicks after 26 weeks. Is it normal for my baby to be very active, kicking and moving very strongly at this point (22 weeks) already? Baby weight is also at 3.2kg right now.. i dont know i should do.. should i wait till my EDD which is in 4 days or break my waterbag tmr.. i dont want to be induced and im hoping for everything to happen naturally but i am also trying to avoid csect if my baby gets to big. I have a trip planned for end of next week which involves long plane ride and 2 hour car ride (I will most likely have to drive).
