- 2023-04-24Has anyone kept getting flu during pregnancy?
This is my second time getting a flu and fever. I have seen a GP for medication.
I am currently in the 15th week.
I was reading online about the fever and its effect on the baby. It kind of worries me.
Such as fever can result in a baby having autism.
Has anyone had fever and flu and gone on to have a healthy baby?

- 2023-04-24Hello mummies, i realised my lo bcg vaccination scar is on the right buttock not on the left. The hospital had made a mistake by giving the vaccine on the wrong buttock (we agreed for it to be on the left buttock). They even documented the location to be on the left buttock in the health booklet. What should i do? I am quite annoyed at the number of mistakes they are making.
Upon discharge i also realised that the information entered into healthhub is wrong. In the discharge summary, the info stated caeserean birth when it is supposed to be normal delivery and the gestation date was wrong. I emailed in and called in several times before they got to it and amended it. Even after amending, the gestation date was still wrong and i had to call in again. I am quite concerned with the amount of mistakes they are making and i am not sure if i want to bring this (wrong bcg vaccination location) up to the hospital.

- 2023-04-24Hello all, anyone has itch during pregnancy? It gets so unbearable and tempting to scratch but i try not to. So i wash more often, uses feminine wash but it gets so dry after due to frequent washing. And when i do scratch, sometimes it bleeds cause accidentally scratches too much on the skin and it hurts so bad to pee and wash after that 😭and it could be and feel fine today then suddenly it itches like hell in the evening. It gets so frustratingg!
I have yet to ask for medication from my gynae but i have tried moisturizing, using cooling pantyliner to divert the pain and itch. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt..
And im so shy to let gynae check me below cause i cant shave properly due to my big bump (due in june) 🥲
Anyone has the same too?
- 2023-04-24I've tried to contact my Medishield Life provider to get an eLOG sent to Thomson Medical to waive the hospital deposit at admission for an elective c-section but they refuse to issue me one because it's a non-complicated and pregnancy-related procedure. Does anyone have had this issue? I don't know why I'm paying so much every year for their premiums plus a rider and they can't even issue me a letter of guarantee.
Please advise. Thanks!

- 2023-04-25hi mums
i'm now 37 weeks
past few 2-3 weeks i found myself to be veryyyy constipated so i decided to increase my water intake, eat more fruits esp papaya and also drank yakult.
only around 3 days ago till now i managed to pass motion with ease (not dry stool/ constipated/ passed a bit only)
like the stool really comes out easily without me having to use much pressure/ muscle. i also poop
at least 3 times a day now.....
but now i'm wondering is it bcos of my increase water& fruit intake or my body is just detoxing to prepare myself for labour? is this a sign that labour is really near??
what is the diarrhoea that mums talk about nearing labour?
thank you for reading
- 2023-04-25Hi Mummies,
My baby is 37 days old now but I still need to swaddle him so that he can sleep properly. Otherwise within 10 mins he will get scared and won’t sleep.
Hence I have to swaddle him for his day time naps as well as at night.
Is that okay ? What do other mummies do ?

Im in my late 20s and a few of my friends have had their miscarriages and it made me very cautious. - 2023-04-27Hi mummies,
Anyone encounter similar situation?
LO is 6.5 months old and somehow this past week has been super clingy to me. If anyone other than myself carries her, she will cry uncontrollably. Is it separation anxiety? She had her immunisation jab last week too and had a fever for 1 day. Appreciate if any mummy can share similar experience of what you did to alleviate this. I worry she’d lose her voice from crying too much.
Thank you in advance!

And also i think my hormones i get annoyed and pissed off v easily …. Which im very disappointed @ myself bc im not like that before im very patient towards her . But right now i really cant handle my emotions. Sometimes i just feel stressed up when she start throwing tantrums out of sudden without any reasons and almost EVERYDAY * not alternate days or long long 1 time . Is literally every single day i have to handle .. And while my in law want to help me sometimes she doesn’t want my in law bc she just want me and not anyone else…..
While i trying my best to console her & trying to understand what she wants , talk to her nicely without being angry at her … things just gets worse …
Till now even when feeling all this emotions i never once scold her or anything i still talks to her nicely hoping that she would understand… But NO … talking to her nicely doesnt work & i also dk what else can be done too…
Can anyone give me solutions/ suggestions what should do to handle my emotions and help my daughter to feel better as well? encounter the same problem as me ?
