2023-04-10Im currently 17 weeks. From what i heard from alot of people, morning sickness will usually slow down or ease during 2nd tri but not for me 😭 Im still having it and always gagging and feel like vomiting. Esp when brushing teeth, always feel like vomiting. I have more or less zero energy, always tired. I cannot go out for long else ill get very tired easily and always need to sit down. And i still have food aversion and losing weight due to that. #advicepls #firsttiimemom #firstbaby
2023-04-10Im currently 17 weeks. I realised that i always get very tired easily when going out, and when i walk a distance, my baby bump (even when its very small) will feel heavy(?), hard(?), and sometimes slight pain, around below the baby bump. I always find it uncomfortable when going out, walking around. I will usually need to sit every now and then. Do note that i only have a small bump but it feels like i already feel the heaviness of the baby if that makes sense. Is it normal? Sometimes i miss my old self whereby i can walk around for hours. #advicepls #firstbaby #firstmom
2023-04-10Whenever my in law family wanted to close to my baby, i will be very pissed off. I dont like my mil close to her or whenever she come to our place. the kids in the family love my baby so much and always surrounded us as i am carrying my baby, i feel so suffocated. my Mil has the access to our house and she will just come over quietly without inform or even knock and she will just open door herself like that. I know i shouldnt feel so whenever ppl trying to occupied my baby, but i just dont like it. Not sure if this is consider one of the depression symptom.. and i am trying to overcome it and be open minded abit but 8months already i still feels the same. #pleasehelp sigh…

2023-04-10Hi, mummies can I check usually how long will there be spotting/bleeding during 1st trimester? I'm currently on dydrogesterone for 3 times a day have been taking it since 28 Mar, the 2 weeks of medication will be ending tomorrow and tomorrow is also my next gynaecologist appt... base on Lmp I'm suppose to be 8 weeks 6days pregnant but base on the scan I did on 5 Apr, I'm only 5weeks pregnant... back in Oct'22, I had a miscarriage... thus feeling very worried and anxious... as of now I still feel nausea and tenderness in breast. #firsttimemom #advicepls

2023-04-10Hello mummies, My baby has started to roll from back to tummy at 11 weeks. She just turned 12weeks today. Just wondering if this is normal? 😥She did roll over from tummy to back before she learned this but for now she seems to have forgotten how to roll back and excitedly keep rolling to her tummy. Yesterday she rolled to her tummy while asleep and it woke her up crying. I'm so worried if she does this at night and we don't roll her over back in time cause we are all asleep. Have any mummies experienced this? Did you buy the anti-roll pillows for baby cot? #worriedmummy
2023-04-10Wk 14, wearing loose dress and tummy nt obvious. The Mrt was very crowded in the morning with everyone gg to work. I cant even see who she wanted me to give the seat to. I told her im pregnant. She then said sorry but i said it's okay. I just glad she didn't react differently. Phew. After a few stations, many alighted then I saw an elderly man, i think the lady wanted me to give up seat to this elderly. So i felt bad but then i observed that there were empty seats then but he didn't sit too. But cause i felt bad then i started to think if i should have given up my seat in the first place? Any thoughts?

I had severe pre-eclampsia and an emergency c-sect, but when I tried to claim, found out that the insurance company is being very difficult with the claims definitions. Extremely disappointed, as when buy into such insurance, we want to be able to claim for such unforeseen and distressing circumstances :(

2023-04-11Hello mommies! I am at week 18 day 5 now, recently i am having nausea and vomitting on and off. At times i will eat diclectin but at times will not. But when i did not eat i tend to have neasea, at times not. Today is the worst, been vomitting and cant even eat anything 😭 been feeling bloated recently too! 2023-04-11Hi fellow mummies, this is my first pregnancy and I am currently estimated 5w as calculated from my prev menses first day. I have found out that I was pregnant last week by doing two times preg kit using Clearblue. I also called up KKH for an appt next week.. meanwhile I am constantly having dull cramps (mild) and often having huge appetite and constant hunger. What do you all usually do during this waiting period? And are my symptoms normal? TIA!
2023-04-11My baby is 2 months old and most of her bottle feeding has been a battle with her. She drinks 100ml in average however have to takes multiple burp breaks as she will suck cry kick halfway through and that will take an hour for her to finish her bottle. Any advice for me as ftm so that she can be less fussy during feeding? By the way she’s already on pigeon size 2 teat and unsure if it’s too much to let her try size 3 which is way beyond her age. #firstbaby #pleasehelp

2023-04-12Hi Mummies! Should i be worried? I had food poisoning last week and have diarrhoea for like 3 days non stop, each day went to the toilet 6-8 times, had fever as well. Even went to the A&E for drip as i was dehydrated but the hospital wasnt equip for a ultrascan in the a&e. My next gyne appoint is on the 27th Apr. My symptoms almost all gone after what happened last week. I had my first scan on 27th mar, ard 7 weeks 4 days. Today i should be 9 week 5 days. Should i go to see my gyne sooner? 2023-04-12My 7weeks old son sometimes drink 2oz, sometimes 4oz every 3 -3.5 hours interval, is this normal? We tried to let him finish the FM but he will push away and start crying if we try to put bottle teat into his mouth. We are worrying the inconsistent feeding :(

2023-04-12Currently on 2nd trimester suddenly have this pain under the rib all the way to the back!! 😩😩 it’s on the right side. Went to A&E KKH checked everything is normal, doc suspect either gallbladder or muscle ligament pain so need to stay a night to do further check in the morning. Found nothing from gallbladder result so likely is the muscle ligament pain. But it is so so so painful until cant sit and walk, any mummy experience the same??

2023-04-12Hi mummies, I do not have gestational diabetes and my normal weight is about 48kg and I'm now 55kg. Today's scan shows that my baby weighs 2.5kg at 30 week of my pregnancy. 2023-04-12I’m 9 days postpartum with my first child and I generally have an easy baby. He wakes up for feeds every 2/3 hours which is normal. It’s just that everytime he wakes up for his 2am/3am feeds, he cannot go back to sleep and is fussy. My husband and I tried carrying him and soothing him to sleep, using his pacifier, taking him out of the room for some fresh air but nothing works so far. He usually will only fall back asleep after his next feed which is the next 2/3 hours. Is this normal and what can my husband and I do?

However in the day/noon timing, my room tends to get very hot and it’s not possible for us to on aircon 24/7. 2023-04-13Hi.. Need help.. My child infant having Diarrhea for more than 3days with swollen butt.. Went to kkh A&E this morning and was treated like as if its my fault that my baby sick.. The doc was abit cold towards us the whole time.. And was told that no medication for my baby and to just give probiotic and cream for the swollen rash.. I went to the emergency rather than kids clinic as I know emergency is way advance and will have a way to stop the Diarrhea.. 2023-04-13Hey mommies! FTWM here. My son is now in playgroup and his teacher’s feedback was when he was doing a classroom activity, he doesn’t seem to have eye contact. His name has to be called, then he will respond. She also suggested to see a pd as she’s concerned with my boy’s milestones. 🫤 My boy can’t talk yet, babbles a lot. Says a few words but randomly. I’m concerned if this may be a sign of ADHD? My husband kept assuring me that every child is different and that we need to give him time before seeing a specialist but I’m worried. I guess he is a bit slower than his peers as he only started walking at 16 months old. He eats well plays well and responds to his name and has good eye contact. I guess I’m now feeling guilty about all the screen time that he was given when I’m doing my chores. Please share your experience, mommies. Thanks!

2023-04-13Hiii Have any of you met such cases your 5months old baby having red spot ALL OVER BODY EXCEPT MOUTH? I can’t tell she’s itchy cause she dont know how to scratch but she keep should bending her body. 2 days ago i when GP clinic PROhealth and the doc have cream starts with letter ‘H’ . I cant remember the name. The cream doesn’t soothe her but spreads more and today it’s even more so i when to Nu medical centre at junction 10 and doc gave her oral medication for her ‘allergic, itchy and runny nose’ . So far she has only consume 1ml and i put cethaphil lotion on her. Still no sign of reduce spot. So the question is here… i dont know is the sign of allergic reaction? If yes dunno what the cause and to prevent. Poor baby:( help please

2023-04-13I’m a mother of a 16 months old. I’m in my current role for half a year but it’s a culture misfit and I dread to go to work with all the pointless meetings and unfulfilling work. So i had another job offer that came which provides me with opportunity and work life balance as well and something I want to move into. It’s scary but I decided to take up the role as I feel that it’s hard to come by and I’m not happy in my current role. I will be starting the role soon and my son will be transiting to play group in about 2 months time. I’m having anxiety, am I selfish to move roles at this point in time? I feel so guilty. I don’t know what to do. It just feels so hard being a working mom. #firsttimemom

2023-04-13Hey everyone. Looking for some advice here... my 1 month old was born 2.4kg and now at 3.8kg, which dr at polyclinic said its okay. She is drinking 120ml FM every 2 hours which dr said is okay too.. bc dr said babies cannot overfed. but recently she been vomiting her milk out and has been very fussy and has trouble sleeping (which wasnt an issue before) dr said keep a look out for dehydration if she keeps vomiting but so far she her urine and stool output has been normal. I am trying to lessen her feeds by giving her 60ml hourly instead of 120ml every 2 hours but other than that, im not too sure what am i doing wrong? does it sound like my baby is overfed thats why she keep vomiting her milk out (almost half of her milk, soaking her bib every 1-2 hours) Please help :(((#worriedmummy

2023-04-13Hello mummies, anyone experiencing low milk supply and how to increase it? 7 weeks postpartum but my milk supply for one day can only last for one feed and I’ve been giving formula milk for the rest of the feed. This has caused me tremendous stress as I really want to give breast milk for my child but with the low supply it’s impossible. So worries that my child might not revived the right nutrition with FM as compared to BM. Please help :(

2023-04-14I am at Week 19 and only managed to eat 2 meals per day as I slept longer than usual and always missed my breakfast. I tend to endure hunger due to work and probably I only able to have 1 or 2 small snacks per day. Will it pose any health risk to my baby? My weight goes up and down by 1kg every 1-2 days and now it seems to go back to my weight 2 weeks before. Not sure how should I manage so I am eating enough yet not eating too much.

Doctor said there's nothing to worry about. But before my routine check i had a cup of milo with soda crackers 1.5hrs ago. So i wanna ask is the glucose found in the milo? However, I have not had the first cycle of my menstruation. My tummy too hasn’t subside a single bit, everyone thinks I’m still pregnant. It is confirmed I am not pregnant now. I did my tests & on top of that, I had Implanon Insertion done from the third day after I gave birth. Does this contribute to the missed periods throughout? 2023-04-14Been having brown mucus and contraction always come thru midnight every 5mins with intense pain, went to the hospital at 3am to check and the nurse said no dilation yet n wait till morning for doc, doc also say no dilation and ask me to go home after 8hrs of monitoring, i went home as i also already feeling better but again tonight the contraction come and go every 5mins-10mins for about 1 mins from midnight till morning. The pain is still so intense. What should i do? Is it just Braxton hicks?

I would pick him up and comfort him until he calms down and breathing slows down again. This only started yesterday and can occur in both day naps and night time sleep.
