She has start solid food but I did add vegetable in it, but she still having very dry hard stool and cry during poo. 2022-02-28Hi mummies. Just want to check if you go poly for referral, they will not do pregnancy urine test for you if you have done it on your own? I went to bt batok poly and informed the doc that I did my own test. He said no further test needed and only give me referral letter and folic acid.

2022-02-28Hi mummies, any TCM or home remedy to recommend for pregnant women? Currently 32 weeks and coughing very badly for about one month already. consulted 3 doctors (2GP & 1polyclinic), drank 3 different types of cough syrup and was on antibiotic + pro-antibiotic. Even got inhaler + lozenges from polyclinic but still not getting better. Not sure if gonna affect baby if i were to take somemore cough syrup hence turning to tcm instead 😣 *Definitely not covid as I have just recovered from covid on 8 Feb 😂

2022-02-28hello everyone. i notice most of the mummies here have been prescribed obimin or other vitamins by gynae for 12 weeks onwards. however for 12 weeks i’ve only been prescribed prenavit(since week 4) and fish oil (just started). is it sufficient ? or do i need to self purchase other vitamin supplements separately? I’m on my first pregnancy and planning to resign in few months, as I go to my native & I have no intention to work after giving birth. But my friends are telling me to take maternity leave & give resignation letter during my leave.But I feel it’s not right & so guilty about it . What can I do ? Anyone have done like this ? I've been consuming this for about 2wks & I don't know if my body just can't adapt to the dosage or what else. I always take this with/after food. Dr said was ok to consume this when I consulted her. 2022-02-28Sharing my recent ectopic pregnancy experience. I went back to my private gynae a week later for a followup. Sac still cannot be seen at week 6 via ultrasound with some masses found in right tube area. I had no bleeding, no sharp pain, just slight aches in lower back. I was referred immediately to A&E at kkh, sgh, mt E. Chose Kkh, went to the A&E, checked and found right tube seems swollen. Got referred to radiologist for further detailed check. Finally to find the sac to be in my right fallopian tube. Yolk sac found, no fetal pole, 2.4cm. Things suddenly escalated with no explanation, nurse with wheel chair came, pushed to nurses office, then nurses with a bed came to fetch me back to A&E waiting room while waiting for my beta and radiologist report which can take an hour or 2. I guess the news can only be shared via the doctor's mouth. Nurse did an ART test for me suddenly. Within 30 mins Doctor called for me and shared the news, ectopic confirmed on the right, my Hcg lvl was over 10 000, too high to be considered for medicine treatment. I need to go for the surgery right away on the same day. Laparoscopic salpingectomy, i was shocked when the doctor told me my tube will be removed with the ectopic pregnancy to avoid complications and future recurrence. Everything felt like a dream, from a blighted ovum few months ago and now ectopic. Surgeon said my uterus and left fallopian tube looks fine from the inside. Theres no specifc reason or link between the ectopic and blighted ovum. The fact that i can get pregnant twice it means the sperm and the egg are fine. I dont smoke and im below 35 with no history in the family with such issue. I just wonder what can i do or eat to prevent or reduce such risk further next time. Probably nt meant to have a Tiger year baby 🤔 #advicepls #ectopicPregnancy

What if the staff still positive even after 7 days, children immune system still so weak ): ! Children really will be fine? Me and my husband need to work, I can don't send for 1 or 2 days but not always.
2022-02-28Halfway thru first tri and I'm alr sick of it. This pregnancy is worse than my first preg. Super bad nauseous, vomitting, stomachache, no appetite. Feeling weak and tired. Don't want to do anything at all. Yet need to do mummy duties. Hubby has been helping me a lot. I just wish I can stop feeling unwell, so i can do more. Hope second tri will be btr. 2022-02-28Hi I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and recently the pain in my symphysis pubis area has been getting worse. I'm still able to walk and climb stairs without pain but turning in bed has become a challenge. Turning in bed brings about pain, so now I have to turn very slowly and carefully. I try to wear a belly support if I know I'm going to be walking / standing alot. Like to know if any mummies have found any exercise or stretching that helps with SPD. TIA! #advicepls #pregnancy
2022-02-28im tested c19 +ve , 11 weeks preg and have a 2yo girl. no one is able to help me takecare of my 2yo, not even her daddy bc no knowledge at all, other than change diapers and feed meals and make milk. howhowhow!!??? currently isolated far from her sleep area and im wearing face mask all the time. (we're living in 1room flat) dont tell me ask daddy to learn how to take care of her bc i never let her shower her or other things. i do SA prevention for my girl as i myself was a SA victim to my own dad.

2022-03-01Hi I'm at 7 weeks currently. Just wondering, has any mummies ever felt "disconnected" from their baby during these early weeks? I felt the stretch, tingle, pull, cramps at 4 & 5 weeks, and when my 1st born son tap on my tummy, I could feel the hard bump. But from 6 weeks up till today, I feel like my tummy is "empty"? I am VERY worried as we don't plan to see any gynaes until at least 10 weeks. Also, at night I do still feel a bit of that pulling sensation in my tummy, and totally NO BLEEDING up till today with 2 lines still on any test kits used. Should I be very worried or is this extremely normal?

2022-03-01I need help. Emotional support help. I'm pregnant for 4-5 weeks(according to my period calculator tracker). This is my first baby. I was diagnosis with hyperthyroidism(grave disease) since 2015. Been following up well with my endocrinology at NUH, so far everything when good before I got pregnant. Now, I starting to feel depressed about this pregnancy. I got nausea all day. I cried many times during working hours and even at night to the point my anixety rises up. I begin to start blaming my husband for putting me in this position. I'm scared what if my baby will not born like a normal healthy baby. I know, I shouldn't be overthinking but mummies, I can't help it feeling this way. It's gotten so bad that I can't eat and even if I do, it will taste nothing. 2022-03-01I'm in my 1st Tri now & in need of some feedbacks. 1. Anyone else have hyper sensitive sense of smell that literally the sniff of anything makes you feel like vomitting? What & how do you control it? 😭 2. My lower leg/calf aches everyday. I thought this will happen in later stage like end of 2nd Tri or 3rd Tri. Why do I feel the aches so soon? 😭 3. Do you ever feel like eating something but when the food or meal is in front of you, you lost your appetite? This is just so sad! 😭 4. When the plain water that I drink daily before being pregnant, now tastes one kind of weird & now I can't even take a single gulp. I have tried lemon infused water, juices but end up drinking only a little as everything will taste too sweet/too sour/too bitter. I'm really disheartened as I know my body needs fluids. 2022-03-02My LO is 9 weeks, used to drink 90ML every 2 hourly.. Now after 90ML, I have to top up 20ML by 20ML and she can take 130ml & still be asking for more in the day time. (But if I give her 100ml in one serving, she cannot finish.. only if I start with 90 & keep topping up immediately after her first 90 ML 😓) Bottle fed full EBM. 2022-03-03Hi mummies. I returned to work this Tuesday after my 4 months maternity leave. I was really down and sad not able to be there for my baby. I’m sure all mummies will feel the same. I thought it will get better after a few days but these feelings still remain. I felt emotional whenever I received my baby’s photos from my mum and when I think about my fear of missing out. Work was busy and it’s difficult to catch a time to pump milk. Always with sudden meetings and duties. I can never leave my work place on time due to the workload and only to reach home at 6+ to 7pm which only left me with 2-3hrs of time with baby. The covid situation in my workplace is getting worst. I know it’s a new normal now. There’s at least one person get contacted with covid each day. I’m worried I might get it and pass it to baby and the thought of not able to see and touch baby for 7 days is painful. Babies are young and they are unable to express their pain if contacted by covid and we aren’t sure about the long term effects. I’m planning to resign soon but notice is 3 months long. 2022-03-05My 7month old baby doesn’t finish her milk at one go. She needs to be coaxed to take her milk with frequent breaks and sometimes can leave like half a bottle. Dread her milk or meal time cos really need alot of patience. When it comes to having her solids, she will just open her mouth for that few times. And she opens her mouth so narrowly that the food gets pushed out while sending it into her mouth. Then after, dun wan to open the mouth when she sees the spoon. More effective feeding her by hand. But i dun wan her to reject the spoon in future… most of the time feed until super frustrated. Gain weight very slowly falls in the 10-25th percentile i think she is dropping lower. Any mummy experience similar situation too?

2022-03-05My baby is 2-3months old and she can sleep all the way from 11pm to 6 or 7am without waking up or crying for milk. Would like to ask if any mum encounter the same thing? If yes, do you (1) wake ur baby up to latch or (2) pump ur milk and store in fridge first? I have tried (1) but she is very difficult to be waken up and even if she barely wakes up to latch, she will fall asleep halfway and even if keep waking her up, she will just suckle on 1 or 2 times for show and falls asleep and this will take too long that you will rather pump and save time...

After giving birth i will be in confinement at their house while my husband prepares for our new rental flat for us to move in after confinement ended. The thing is i'm having some conflicts with my mother in law,here's some example of whats been happening just this week: 1)my husband aunt came all the way from australia to visit my in laws.My first son is out of wedlock so i don't really know if they knew my son exist,just that we got married but funny thing is my mother in law posted pictures of my son on her facebook plus my husband posted pictures of my son on his instagram and her daughter follows him so automatically she may be made aware of the "situation" but the thing is,my mother in law asked me to go to my parents house or our house to avoid his aunt from seeing my son. My husband works shift,i can't be alone in my house while i'm pregnant and handling my toddler all by myself.Mind you,i'm in my 39 weeks already so being alone is not ideal for me. 2)my siblings wanted to see our new house and growing up with them,i know what to expect from them,meaning i have to be at my parents house within 5 minutes asap!so me being pregnant,i have to rush to shower,get ready and be out and arrive by 5 mins. My husband gave me a call before asking me to take our house key from my mother in law and right after that my sister gave me a call demanding to know where is my location etc,so while on the phone,irritated and literally arguing with my sister. I showed my mother in law signs that i want my husband house key which she gave and she hears me being annoyed with my sister,i took the keys and immediately went out of the house cause like i said i have to be there in 5 mins and my parents and in law house is a 5 mins walking distance. That same time she called my husband saying that she felt disheartened that i never talk to her and she doesn't wanna go to our house anymore because of me. So the thing is,what do i want to say to her while i'm leaving the house?i got nothing to say,no time for small talks. She felt disheartened?i do too cause she indirectly chase us out of the house cause of my son. She never apologise for making me feel that way,why should i apologise to her?seriously can't wait to leave this house and stay on our own. Too much negativity and its affecting my pregnancy not to mention my in law argue everyday without fail,cursing each other out and i don't want my son to grow up in that environment thinking that its okay to curse at your own parents or seeing them argue and shouting at each other.
