2022-02-21Hi mummies, just to check. When comes to night time, it is a struggle for us. We have a hard time putting our LO to bed. He is 11 mths. We try to pat him on his backside, he will move and climb. When we put him on a rocker, he will struggle and climb out. In the end, we put him in a stroller. Move and he finally sleep. But this is not a long term solution. Pls help.

2022-02-22After my last post, went in for an ultrasound (did both intra n external scan) at week 5 and 2 days as advised due to my last Blighted Ovum. My gynae couldnt see any clear sac. Only pointed to a small possible sac. He did draw some blood for HCG test, gave me proluton injection and duphaston tab. HCG result was 1171 so he is saying it matches with the size of the sac that we saw. My test dye stealer is still getting darker though. Going back in a few days. He mentioned 90% not ectopic. Anyone in similar situation or experienced similar? Edit: 5 weeks may be early but usually at least a small sac can be seen. My hcg still rises alot everyday (test line on 1st response still gets darker). I have regular menses and i track my ovulation closely. I went back on 6th week nth could be seen, small sac was probably just some water in the womb. Ectopic was confirmed after going to KKH for detailed scan. #sharing #ectopicPregnancy

2022-02-23Hi! My baby is 4 months coming 5 months in 2 weeks. I've read so many articles and posts from mummies saying that by 4 months, their babies will sleep long hours and even through the night! However, my baby still wakes up at night. She will sleep usually around 6.30-7.30pm. Wakes up at a 3 hour interval. She has difficulty in taking naps in the morning as well. Her naps are usually rather short, 30 min to an hour. She takes about 3 to 4 of those naps in the day. She is also quite a fussy baby. She either needs people to entertain her or carry her and sometimes she just cries. Help pls!

My husband before we got married moved in to the master bedroom of my in law house cause no one wants to sleep in there as its hot so it became my husband room and now that we got married,it became our room and most of the stuff we bought it with our own money including our bed and now we have portable aircon in our room so its abit more cooling now. Now,we are in the process of moving out just that i have to live here until my confinement days are over then i will be moving to our new place and for the meantime before my baby popped out i had been busy packing stuff and leaving them in our new house. Yesterday,we went to our new place to put some stuff there and we left our one year old son at home cause he was asleep. See my son is afraid of aeroplane sound,loud noises etc so i told my MIL to look after him which she did,she went in and lay down beside him and we went about our day moving some stuff to our new house. Imagine the horror of coming home,seeing my son sitting on the table while no adult is monitoring him only my youngest brother in law is in sight so we asked him where my in law are and he told us that they are in our room so without thinking much we went there and tried to open the door but it was locked so its a confirm case that they had been doing the deeds in our room. We do our deeds all the time but heres why i'm "mad" 1)you left my son outside with no adult supervision for you to enjoy having sex in our room. You couldve done it when all three of us is not home but you choose to do it when we left our son in your care. 2)its disgusting knowing someone else body fluid is on your bed,not only your bed that you bought but also the flooring. I STEPPED ON MY FIL FLUID! 3)theres a monitoring camera in our room for us to check on our son,so doesn't it like registered in your brain that we might be looking at the camera to see what our son is doing but thank god we never did cause it will be a sight of horror. 4)we've only been gone for an hour atleast and then we went out again till like 12 am with our son so there ample time for you by then to have sex all you want while we're not home for those 3-4 hours For those asking why not other room,both my brother in law conquered the other two rooms. One locks his door when he goes to work and the other one's room is a mess so the only clean room is ours and because my son is in there we never lock the door furthermore some of their stuff is inside the room hence why its not locked.

2022-02-24Yesterday we took cab back home. The taxi uncle was driving too fast, despite us telling him to slow down for a few times in different languages. I'm 7 wks pregnant and I have a 1 year old baby in the car too. I was feeling uncomfortable throughout the ride. I felt pain in my womb from alighting the car till this morning. It was so painful that I did not sleep well. From what I understand from my recent check up, the doctor said lower abdomen pain once awhile is normal. This is my first time having pain in the womb. The pain has stopped since 10am and I did not see any bleeding or anything. Has this happen to anyone before?

2022-02-25So nightmare started when my elder two year old son kena COVID from his school. Soon after, most of us started to have flu symptoms too, high fever, chills, running nose and cough. My two month old started to have high fever too from 37.8 all the way to 39 degrees. We rushed to KK A&e immediately and went to this temporary A&E set up for covid patients in a tentage. Arriving at 10am, I finished seeing the doctor and had him admitted by 11am, the efficiency was excellent and I was really pleased with how empathetic the staff was with my emotions since I was really worried about my son. I started crying and throughout the whole process more than four nurses told me to not worry and take care which was really reassuring. Kudos to the nurses and health care workers! Part 2 to be continued tomorrow

As a first time mommy to-be, I heard contractions is not only the pain that we have to go through but some need to go through episiotomy if there's a cut. Now the question is does it hurt alot to feel the cut from the doctor throughout the delivery process? Or we will not feel it? It's not that I don't believe my mum but I thought she probably might just want to calm me down by assuring that it's not painful and we will not feel the pain when the doctor gave us the cut while the delivery process as we will focus more with the pain of delivering and pushing. Is that true???? And also before the doctor even stitch up the cut, do they gave any anesthesia or a cream that makes our skin numb on our vagina??? Really hope any mommies that have gone through this experience could help me to get the answer so I won't be too nervous. 2022-02-25My LO were tested positive and my hubby said its pointless for me to wear a mask while attending to her since we alr had closed contact. So 2 days later I was tested positive also and my hubby refused to put down his work so I can self isolate while he handle our LO at home for 72 hours at least. So right now 3 of us still sleeping in the same room on the same bed without a mask. Now my LO's high fever have subside after 4 days, but its my turn having high fever and I feel like total crap because part of me fear of passing it to my LO again and my hubby as its at my peak now of symptoms while LO is recovering. My hubby insists that he will not have it as he alr has immunity before and if he does he already has it now. What should I do? Part of me have to take care of my LO hands on with a high fever from morning to night before he is back, part of me really doesn't want to spread it back to my LO or hubby. I'm really torn in between. Ps: during day time I'm alr wearing a mask but during bedtime I can't as I'm having stuffy nose and congested chest which I can't breathe well with it. #advicepls #pleasehelp
