2022-02-08Based on gestation calculation supposed to be 7wks, but encountered slight spotting and bleeding. Went for a scan but was dated 5wks++, can only see 3mm fetus no heartbeat. HCG on 2 days had slight increase but didn’t double. Also after the vaginal scan, bleeding becomes more, but still manageable using panty liner. But saw bloody jelly like substance this morning. Very worried, anybody had this issue?

2022-02-08I have gastric before pregnancy and usually need to eat but since pregnant i got no appetite and nausea but feel abit hungry. If i eat a bit depends what i eat(biscuit,bread)..i will tend to vomit. Sometimes is just vomit water with bit of blood. i lose weight more than 5kg since i got pregnant. Is this normal? 2022-02-08Hi everyone, may I ask your help to advice of letting baby sleep in electronic baby cradle (Yao lan) at 2 months old? My baby is born premature and keeps wanting to be carried day and night and we are all tired.. is it ok to let baby sleep in that cradle all day?
2022-02-08After our 1st born, our lives have greatly changed and our emotions as well. There are alot of ups and downs. Now my 1st born is 2 years old. My sex appetite seems to reduce greatly and often can't reach orgasm, just doing for the sake. We have been taking care of baby ourselves, my husband is a very hands on dad however our finance dipped greatly and I am the one paying for the house with cpf money that are from when I used to work. We both stopped paying insurance too. Husband pays for meals, utilities and his car. Groceries half half. I am living on money from my own savings but have since wiped out after I left my job to care for my boy 1 year ago..currently living on money from my parents. I am looking for a full time job again after disconnecting from the working society 1 year but honestly I am quite sian to go back to work as most of the companies and ppl i met are hypocrites and bad bosses. Few and far between will I meet good colleagues and boss. I am thinking of doing my own business but not sure where to start. Husband only do part time work now. He vented on me before by shouting say finance is the greatest problem however I already helped him by letting him use my cpf.. As a mom now I find the need to have to take care of a young toddler and hard to go back to full time job. My boy just started school 1 month ago and still resist school. Also my boy is sick and of course we did not let him go school for 1 week already. If I am working full time how do I take 1 week leave in this instance? Husband has always been a free lancer doing reno projects. However he does not have projects for 2 years already. Told him to do something else he only does part time work. Tired of talking already. I even keep dreaming of a new partner. I still love my husband, I want a 2nd kid too but I feel now when both of us are alone when kid is in school, we have nothing much to talk. We don't have dates anymore too after my 1st born. Also due to covid lockdown and restrictions, previously can't dine out much and also since covid can't travel. Wanted to do a family staycation but didn't happen in the end(as staycations also not cheap for our tight finance). We also can't leave our boy with our parents as he just only want to be with us. Recently I always can't reach orgasm when he foreplay and my clit hurts which makes me feel like crying inside as I can't reach orgasm. I always ended up says I don't want to have orgasm but actually I want just no mood and don't feel comfortable etc. What should I do?

2022-02-09Just curious…. My period has been very irregular. Could come 1 month after the last one or 2-4 months after. The longest was 4 months. I have never experienced menses cramps before so I’m not sure how it feels like. Are there anyone that is like me or am I just weird? Hahaha 😅 Am 38 weeks preggy now. 2022-02-09Hi everyone, im currently 23weeks 6 days today. Last night im feeling this pain in my lower abdomen and the left lower abdomen feels like have that pulling feeling until my vagina. I also have pain in my lower back pain. Is this still round ligament pain? The pulling feeling is okay okay when still early, but around 12mn the pulling feeling is with the lower back and lower abdomen pain already.

However, my concern is that if I was allowed to WFH 100%, other colleagues will start asking. But I don't intend to let them know about my pregnancy until the 2nd trimester. 2022-02-09I'm in my 1st trimester and recently, I've been feeling tired whenever I walk, even when I walk short distances. Hence, my walking speed has slowed down. I also tend to hunch my back when I walk. Climbing up just a few steps of stairs is also tiring for me. Not sure if it is partly due to the mask. Does anyone else feel the same? #1stimemom

2022-02-10Did anyone take their booster near their EDD? How was it? I'm week 38 now and baby is quite low already, my first 2 were Pfizer. My gynae suggested I take Pfizer so baby can get some antibodies over the remaining week(s), and said that transfer of antibodies is lower through breastmilk. Even when I say the stroller is too heavy for me, they went ahead and bought it. And when I ask if anyone is throwing a baby shower they just push it around and no one cares about the mummy. 2022-02-10Hi mummies, I don’t know what I seek out of this but I just need this space. My baby turned 1 month old today. It has been overwhelming. My first 2 weeks of pp was a bliss because my mom graciously ordered my confinement food and she came over to my home everyday after work. It all went downhill after she stopped coming over, and I don’t blame her, she works long hours. I was basically on my own although, I have a husband but perhaps, I’m just unlucky to have one who isn’t proactive. I had to cook meals for him, clean after the home and the mess he leaves while caring for a newborn. I’ve not gotten any sleep since I’ve given birth. I’d be lucky if I have my sleep longer than 3 hours. My baby is currently breastfeeding and she wakes up every 3 hours for feed. My husband does nothing but sleep thruout and snores- which irritates me cos imagine having a crying baby and a snoring husband. Of course I can go on and sleep in other rooms with my baby but that would mean us sleeping on the floors as we do not have beds in other rooms. My husband doesn’t help at all for the baby and insists that the child wants milk only. I’m so exhausted. 2022-02-11I am puzzled that why my 6 MO baby have been waking up frequently in middle of night asking for milk when he could sleep through the night when he’s 2 month old. I notice ever since I stopped giving him breast milk at his 5 MO, he has been waking up every 4 hourly for milk. I tried to increase his milk intake to 180ml, but he will always stop at 150ml and refused to drink more. What could be the cause? And how do I counter it? This is so tiring and we had managed to make him sleep through the night when he’s 2 months old.

2022-02-11Hi today is my 3rd day post c section delivery. Went home and was surprised that i did not lose any weight at all. Was the same as a week ago when i was admitted to the hospital. My doctor suggested for me to get induce labour at 37 weeks as my baby is bigger than normal range, they're afraid that the baby will get too big for me to go through normal labour, which I want to. 2022-02-11As a first time mom, i'm always so anxious and worry about my baby. Especially when I'm already 17weeks with no baby bumps or cannot feel any baby movement, i always wonder if my baby is "still there". GYNAE appointments seems like ages to arrive and the wait makes me so nervous. My husband bought this ultrasound device to give me a little peace of mind. Now I can see my baby's heart rate and listen to its beating whenever i want. Each time i feel stress i will listen to baby's heartbeat and it makes me feel all better. Worth every penny! #pregnancy

2022-02-11I am currently at 15 weeks. My morning sickness started at my 6th week and is still on going (but it isn't as bad now). However, ever since the morning sickness started, I have been having a build up of saliva. It could be when I am sleeping or whenever (except when eating). To a point that I have to keep spitting. It makes it inconvenient to even have a decent conversation without being "interrupted" by the saliva build up. My sleep gets broken as i have to get up to spit. Has anyone experienced this before? Will it stop eventually? 😵‍💫

I just have few questions hope anyone can share similar experience with me 🥺 So I am married to Singaporean currently holding LTVP and planning to give birth at NUH (due date June 2022) however, I am unsure about the fees. Tried calling the hospital and some other people for information but I wasn’t given clear instructions. Since I am a foreigner, I am charged as Private Patient at NUH, but since my husband is local, we can claim financial help from Medisave. 1. Antenatal package with Prof Su is $1100 at 21 weeks. How do we claim antenatal expenses from medisave? Do we consolidate or automatically deducted from the package? 2. How much was your total bill with normal delivery? Planning to take A1 ward as I am a light sleeper. Total bill for LTVP (foreigner) minus the medisave claims? 3. My baby is automatically Singaporean to follow my husband. Is the baby’s fees fully paid, partially paid or not paid at all by his medisave grant upon giving birth? Apologies if I am asking wrong questions or if I assumed something wrongly as its my first time and I have no idea how these things work. 2022-02-12Hi all I am in my first trimester and gynae has issued me a letter of medical ineligibility for booster jab until 2nd tri (March 22) as I am on heavy preg support medications due to spotting earlier on. So I showed this to my workplace but no exemptions was given and was put on no pay leave (w.e.f 14 feb 22 until I get my booster. anyone facing this issue as well? is it a standard policy with other workplaces? With no pay leave, how am I going to pay my monthly HDB loan and my first born's school fees? I am not a frontliner so definitely am able to work from home and fulfil my duties since I have been doing that ever since I joined the workplace. Does any mummy have any experience? do you think MOM will step in or will it be futile? I am not anti-vaxxer apparently I was the first batch to get my first 2 doses of Pfizer in Feb 21. (have explained all of these to HR but was still ignored).

2022-02-12Hi All, I am currently in my first trimester and was given a medical ineligibility memo to take my booster jab after first trim (early March 22) as I am on heavy preg support medications due to spotting earlier on. my HR not only did not recognise the Dr's memo, they issued me no pay leave w.e.f 14 Feb 22 until I take my booster jab. So essentially if I choose to take in third trim or after I deliver, I will be on no pay leave for almost a year. Is anyone else experiencing this difficult decision? having no pay leave means I am unable to pay for hdb house loan and first born's school fees. Do you think MOM will step in or will the efforts be futile? I am in an admin position so wfh definitely workable since I have been doing that since 2021.

2022-02-12Hello mummies , i would like to know if anyone else is going though this or have been in this situation before .. I just birth my 2nd child ( Babyboy ) Its been 9 days since i gave birth and things haven changed . My first born is a baby girl and it was so easy to take care of her . I formula fed her after 1 week of giving birth as breastfeeding was overwhelming and i was really tired to keep up with breastfeeding and in the end decided formula feeding would be good for my baby girl and myself . I initially thought i could now breastfeeed but no it wasnt happening as my boy is a light sleeper , he wakes up all the time and difficult to make him sleep . Its been 9 days since i slept well and have only been sleeping 2hours at night .. It is pretty tiring for me and i told my husband i cant do it , so we change from breastfeeding to formula milk and have been giving him to drink since nothin has changed and he has been crying for everything . I have checked his diapers constantly , his been passing motion and peeing normally .. But has been crying all the time . He doesnt want to be swaddle and he doesnt like to be placed down to sleep he wants to be constantly hand carried and i am really tired . I have my mother and my husband as well as my brother helping me out but its not easy as i thought it would be . My first one was really easy , once she drink milk , change diapers will automatically knock out . I even tried giving pacifier but its not working . I am really tired and i dont know what to do . I need some tips . I even used a rocker , electric swing and all but nothing is working . I am currently working from home and taking care of newborn as well as schooling and i need him to be easily managed that is the actual reason why i even stop breastfeeding as i need enough rest to do my other things too . Any mummies able to give me advise as to what i can do ? Some even advice me to have him to be showered in the evening and all but i believe its not good for the baby as baby will be cold and best is to bath in the morning when its a really hot day .. PLS HELP .
