2022-01-31Anyone had Low risk for FTS results but then showed high risk for harmony test ? My FTS results showed Low risk but during detailed scanning at week 22 showed a marker for ds (hypo-plastic nasal bone) and was advised to do harmony test. Just wondering if anyone experienced this before ? :/
2022-01-31Hi mommies I'm new to this community and FTM:) I'm into Week 7 and have been experiencing quite constant cramp/stitch feeling especially from Week 6. Yet, I read online that such feelings should only last a few minutes. It's not painful, no bleeding. Is this a source of concern? 😢

2022-01-31Period came back at 4m though exclusively latching baby. Realised my milk supply started dropping a few days before it came and it was quite drastic. Baby constantly hungry but refuses to take bottle/ spoon/ cup. Now at 5m I'm taking legendairy, calcium/ magnesium supplements but the supply still dropped drastically and this time 2 weeks before period due to arrive. Anyone with similar experience? Want to give formula also cannot cos baby refuses to take a bottle. Now getting frustrated with the boob also cos flow is slow

2022-01-31Earlier today during check up,doc do this vaginal swab as currently i'm on 35 weeks pregnant.Right after the swab,i went to toilet and discover there's a blood.When i reach home,i went to toilet again n there still a blood after i urine.After 2 hrs seems like normal only thing when i urinate it feels pain. 2022-01-31My MIL says she wanted to stay in the vehicle car and to wait inside the car with the baby at the car park while we (the parents) go visit the temple. It is suffocating to stay in the car. I read about article adult accidentally leave baby in car and compromise the safety of infant. MIL says she could wind down the car windows & sit in the car with the baby. I really doubt it. She can take the stuffy air, but how can I as a parent allow my baby to subject to risk mths ? How can I enjoy a peace of mind and leave baby in her care ?!

The lady from the admission office was saying that husband is not allowed to sleepover, even for 1 bedder. And it's a 30mins visitation time limit per day even for husband. Duration of stay for mummy is 3D2N. It sounds very very depressing already. 😕 Hoping the admissions lady gave wrong info about it all. Has anyone recently delivered at PEH? 2022-02-02Hi mummies, this is my first time pregnancy. So a few days ago, while I was sitting down, I twisted my body slightly because someone was calling from behind. Since then, I had the on and off twinges on my left side lower abdominal (around above the vagina area? I am unsure too what to call it). The twinges lasted for 2 days. As for today seems no more already. I am gonna do my 8 week ultrasound scan next week, but sometimes I feel like can’t wait to do it, so that I know whether all is good or not. 2022-02-04Hi mummies, my baby is currently 15 weeks and loves putting his hands in his mouth. Even when there’s a pacifier inside, he’ll push it out to chew on his fists. Kinda worried that he’ll take in bacteria etc that could be on his hands. We try our best to wipe his hands every time he eats it, and have told the people around us not to hold and kiss his hands as well. 2022-02-04Hi all I am 6 wks 3 day preg today. My hcg levels were rising but not doubling previously. I did a scan at wk 5 and doc mention could see gestational sac but were smaller than expected. Another scan at wk 6 saw gestational sac(6mm) + yolk. The gestational sac measures 5wk 2 day old even though it was 6wk. Doc still say my gestational sac is too small. And is pessimistic about the situation saying I have less than 50 percent chance for a viable pregnancy. May I know if anyone has similar situation in the past with a sucessful pregnancy? 2022-02-04I'm delivering at TMC and this is my first pregnancy. I seldom deal with specialists/hospitals, only going to the GP when I have the flu, so I'm not sure if my experience with my gynae clinic is the norm and I just had high expectations, or if they are just unprofessional and uncoordinated. Most of the time the consultation is very mechanical - the doctor does the ultrasound, then says everything's ok, when he'll see me next, and bye. I've had to cut in after the Bye to ask him questions about symptoms that I have, and what to expect/look out for. I had expected much more handholding and guidance seeing this is my first pregnancy and honestly you won't know what questions to ask, or what symptoms are red flags unless you had been actively googling it - is this not what you pay a specialist to advise you for? I am aware I need to do 2 vaccinations, whooping cough and flu - but the doctor totally forgot about it. I was paying the bill when I queried the nurse and she realized that this is the week I was supposed to take the shot and ushered me back into the clinic. After I'm done with the consultation, it's almost a one hour wait for the nurses to process the bill and advise on the next steps. And even so, a lot of times this is messed up. Like today I overheard they forgot to bill another patient for something last visit. I waited 40 min for them to print out my hospital form... But only the name was correct and all the details were wrong (prices were 5x what were agreed I don't even know what happened there). And we now just found out that we have to register at the hospital online ourselves (because we happened to doubleconfirm this with the staff), the clinic won't be processing for us, which was different from what was advised initially. I'm in the banking sector, this type of professional advice and service will be negligence.... But my husband said this just may be the norm in the medical industry. I'm wondering if I should go back to this clinic for my next pregnancy, or if this is the same experience across the board. What has your experience been like? #firstbaby #advicepls #pregnancy

2022-02-04Hi Mummies, I just found out I’m 9 weeks pregnant and going to start a new job in 2 weeks. I wasn’t pregnant during interviews and accepting the offer back in late December hence I’ve tendered and been serving notice while waiting to join new company in mid Feb. *I have married 2.5 yrs and this is not a plan pregnancy so somehow it’s still a happy thing but kinda stuck due to the current situation where I’ll be switching to new job soon. 2022-02-04Ive known my husband for years but only got married 2 years ago. That being said, I somewhat know what he likes and doesnt like to eat. So I tend to ask him what he wants to eat rather than wasting time and effort cooking something he would end up not eating. He is the ultimate picky eater and its been hard to cook something and have my dish be finished. I always end up throwing it away a day after because 1. He ends up not eating because of the way its been cooked. 2. He ends up only taking the soupy part. 3. Say will eat it next day but doesnt eat them at all. I got frustrated and basically stopped cooking unless he says what he feels like having. Honestly cooking for myself and eating it on my own is lonely and i've tried incorporating certain ways to cook food that will end up him eating but end up him not liking. I cant stand it anymore. It hurts when he doesnt touch the food I make because of how picky he is, he doesnt even want to try. Just by looking, he wont touch it.
2022-02-04Went to gynae ytd and doc did a pelvic scan and did not see any gestational sac. I am currently at week 5 day 5. Gynae say could be too small or might ectopic pregnancy. Anyone similar circumstances but sees a gestational sac afterwards. I am kinda worried. 2022-02-05At 20w+, doctor told us his professional guess is that we’re having a girl. Now at 25 weeks, he said it’s a boy! Hahaha and we already had our gender reveal. Can I just check, if possible, any of you had ultrasounds that looked like mine? To confirm that it’s a boy? The gender doesnt matter at all of course but it’s just so funny to us 😂 what do you think?

Would like to seek advice on a concern I have - read online that sleeping on the back is not good during pregnancy and that it is best to sleep on the right side however I sleep best on my left side curled up, but I am worried and wondering if it is okay for me to sleep curled up (not squeezing just thighs touching belly!) because baby would usually give strong kicks when I do so #advicepls

She’s been having regular and full pee, been letting out gas, smelly ones but just haven’t poop. I’m quite worried and not sure if this is normal/part of her growing up phase. She’s fully breastfed and I’m also currently having blocked ducts. Could my blocked ducts be the issue of her not pooping? She latched on every 2-3hours for 15-20 mins. 2022-02-05Hi Parents! I have a 3 years old and a 10 month old baby. My second child hates me for no reason. I can't comfort her, I can't feed her. She only prefers her mommy. As a father, I feel very lost and distant from my child. I know work has been rather busy and I did not spend much time with my second child. Work does not permit extra time spent with her. I try my very best to comfort her during her night time feed and night time scares... I want to ask if this is normal, where she prefers the mother over me. How can I work towards she liking me? A very lost and sad father here....
