2022-01-24Hi mummies and mummies to be! I’ve had two miscarriage past two years. This year, i am missing my period for the very first time (it has always been regular). It has been 6 days since the projected day of my period and I am only getting brown discharge, ranging from light to stringy dark brown on and off. Have taken PT and it is showing negative results. Anyone else went through the same thing? Care to share outcome? Symptoms wise, frequent urination and lethargic past 12nn onwards. Hope to hear from you ladies 🥰

2022-01-24Hi Mommies, when i start my 9weeks of pregnancy till now (14weeks), i noticed that my underarms' smell is strong. I shower twice daily, scrub my underarms and even with deodorant i can still smell it after few hours. I never have this problem before and eventhough my husband told me it doesn't stink, i honestly think he is just nice. I cannot stand my own body odour and veey insecure about it. 2022-01-24Hi all, my 22mo has been sleeping independently since birth, transitioned to toddler bed since 19mo n had no issues until recently. She constantly asks to be patted to sleep every night or in the day for naps, if we don't, she throws a fit n cries till we do or she vomits or falls asleep. We've almost never patted her to sleep since birth as we didn't want her to become reliant on being coaxed to sleep, she started childcare at 18mo n i believe the teachers do pat them to sleep in school n that's where she picked this up from. Any suggestions on what we should do? Tried reasoning with her but doesn't really work, mostly we just ignore her tantrums or sit on her bed for awhile but not touch her, sometimes we'll pat her if it's already way past bedtime just so she can go to sleep. Night routine is usually, change of diaper n clothes, put her in her own bed, give her a bottle of milk n leave the room n do some chores or whatever. She has comfort objects, blanket n pacifier all of which she uses mostly Just quite tired of the almost nightly tantrums especially with a newborn on the way in a few weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️ Should be cave in or let her be?

2022-01-25Just did my Oscar scan at 12 wks and my baby's nuchal translucency (NT) reading is at 4.7mm. Doc say that there is a 50% chance of chromosomal abnormalities and/or heart defect. Have any mummy experience this? What is your gynae's advice on the next course of action? Appreciate your help!

2022-01-25Hi mummies, this is my 1st pregnancy and currently I am 6 weeks pregnant. Did my first ultrasound today and had a consultation with my gynae. Before that I consulted with my TCM doctor and she prescribed me the powder for my early pregnancy. My gynae prescribed me Duphaston due to my MC histories. When I asked whether safe to consume both TCM and western medicine, she didn’t give me 100% yes about my TCM. Just wondering, is there any of you who consume both TCM and western medicine? 2022-01-25I will be delivering soon. Brought up episiotomy to my nuh gynae, told her i am not against it but if possible not to do (as i get keloids easily which dont go away). However she is insistent that she will do it for ALL FTM to prevent 3rd deg tear although i mentioned my concern. What should i do? And how long does it take for the episiotomy wound to heal (close up)?

2022-01-25Halo mom, saya telat haid 10 Hari, harusnya haid ditanggal 15 januari kemarin lalu saya testpack di tanggal 23 pagi hasil Garis dua samar. Saya langsung ke dokter dan dia blg belum terlihat kantung janin dan saya diminta untuk bedrest karena sejak sabtu malamnya saya flek hbs jalan ke ragunan. Dikasih vitamin dan penguat janin. Jg hasil usg tsb dinding rahim saya masih tebal lebih bbrp. Namun Dokter bilang saya positif hamil dan disuruh kembali cek usg 2-/3 minggu kedepan. Lalu esok harinya, saya pendarahan, gumpalan darah keluar sedikit2 tiap 3-5 jam sekali jadi dlm sehari ada 3 kali pendarahan keluar hanya saja jumlah darah sedikit berwarna kecoklatan. Sehingga malamnya saya cek lagi ke dokter yg lain dan hasilnya menyatakan saya tidak hamil tidak terlihat ada kantung janin. Dan dokter tsb blg iji hanya haid biasa dan tidak ada indikasi keguguran ataupun kehamilan. Sampai saat ini jika ini adalah haid, apakah mungkin ? Krna jumlah darah yg keluar sedikit tidak sebanyak saat haid dan jadwal haid saya selalu teratur. Yg ingin saya tanyakan adalah, apakah testpack yg saya gunakan tidak berpengaruh terhadap diagnosa dokter tsb? Apakah haid ini bisa jadi adalah implantasi? Jika memang implantasi, apakah mgkn tidak terlihat di usg transvaginal? Terimakasih

2022-01-25My 2yo has been attending sch for 4 months. He has been cryingat drop off. Initially he was slightly better after 2 weeks and there were days he didnt cry. However things too a turn after 2 months when he fall sick and miss school plus there was a change in family dynamic . Ever since he has been crying at drop off and im at my wit end. Any parents has kids that cried for many days at drop off. How long in the end did your child take to know that sch is fun and no longer cry daily at drop off.

2022-01-26Hey mummies! I'm currently 20 weeks 5 days already! But, my heartburn has been from bad to worse i must say. Wanting to eat but i get scared. Doctor gave me antacids, but made my tummy super gassy and at times, spicy feeling to it. Yes got it from KKH. I'm so stressed out. I don't know who i can talk to, feel so lonely.. my husband is around when i need him, but speaking to him regarding this is abit impossible cause he doesn't feel what i feel. Went for my antenatal checkup yesterday. Baby is developing so healthily. Everything was super. I was happy no doubt. But, i have so many endless worries every since i got pregnant. And now entering 21 weeks soon, i feel so challenged. My liver enzymes was increasing last time, due to indigestion, cause i had to call an ambulance but they sent me to CGH instead during my 14 weeks pregnancy, so took some bloodtest and such. Then againanother worries. They referred me to see liver doctor in CGH when i saw my doctor at KKH. But i don't trust CGH hospital. I don't know what to do. Feel so clueless

2022-01-27Hi mummies. How do you open formula milk foil? I know it’s easy but I’m using Mamil Gold and it’s bad. I have to use a knife to open it and it doesn’t fully come off. It’s not like nan optipro where the seal comes off with a simple peel. It’s like those foil like the old milo cans used to have and it’s very frustrating.

2022-01-27Hi Mummies, Would you wake your LO up for a feeding when LO sleeps from 9pm to 3am? LO currently drinks way lesser than "recommended" daily intake for weight (500ml-600ml VS 700ml-800ml). Concern about trying dreamfeeding also as worried LO might choke. LO weight at 25th percentile. PD did not express concern about her growth, but did mention daily intake should be minimum 600ml. #pleasehelp

2022-01-27Hi mummies! I have been exclusively pumping since my LO’s birth as he doesn’t latch well 🥲 can any mummies share their experiences when they’re going out for long hours? So far, what i did is to express right before i go out as the expressed milk can only last up to 4 hours. That means, i can only go out for a shortwhile. Do you ladies also bring your pump to pump outside? Cause as you know, we need to pump every 3-4hours or our milk supply will deplete.. so when i pump outside, can give to LO directly. I just find that it’s rather tiring but i would love to continue giving breastmilk to LO. 🥲#advicepls #firstbaby

2022-01-27I am 32 this year. My spouse to be gambles. Take care of me less than 2 days a week. We don’t stay together. He comes over to my parents place to stay with me 2 days a week. Sometimes he’s non existence . Sleep for the 2 whole day when he’s with me as he gambles till 6am. But when I bring him to the polyclinic doctor, they said his chest is clear. He doesn't have phlegm. Only his nose is stuffy. And they gave me saline solution to clean his nose. 2022-01-28I went for my appointment today , I am 38 weeks 3 days and I thought KKH will induce me but no they mention to come back once more , they didn't even check my cervix just hear the fetal heartbeat .. And measure the belly size and that's all .. They told me they would talk to me about induction next wee during my 39 weeks .. I am already really tired .. they said that unless medically there is any complications then they will induce else best is to wait till 40 weeks . I didn't know they changed this as I gave birth to my daughter while she was 38 weeks 2 days induced labour and it was fine . Nothing else can be done other than waiting .. I can't wait for this to end I am pretty overwhelmed as my sleeping schedule and body has been pretty exhausted . #pleasehelp #advicepls #pregnancy

These are my hcg readings 12DP5ET 289 14DP5ET 449 16DP5ET 716 21DP5ET 1401 I had a ultrasound scan today (week 5 day 5) and doctor initially could not find my gestational sac but eventually found it but said it was smaller than expected. And was asked to monitor and come back again for the scan next week. Anyone have similar situations before? 2022-01-29I have been having heartburn everytime after a light meal. I'm no longer able to have a heavy meal like 3 times a day based on my doctor's advise I should split it to 5 smaller meals. I'm currently 8mth pregnant and my heart burn has been giving difficulty breathing and consuming meals like meat or rice. I had to puke everytime my heartburn cant settle down after 30mins. I'm losing weight as well. I used to have hyperemesis during my 1st and 2nd trimester but was treated previously with steroid.
