I am worried that am having my dr apptmt on 23rd dec ,still 15 +days more ...do i need to visit urgent o&g centre for this i.mediately ?....please reply mommies...kindly help me with your suggestions

2022-12-05Hi mummies! Went for my second scan and doc mentioned that the growth of the baby is too slow and is not positive about it. This should be my 7th week. (During my prev scan on 5.5week, baby was 2.4mm. Today was only 3.9mm not able to find heartbeat through transv scan) - is this growth really too slow? Anyone has the same encounter with a good result in the end? #firsttimemom
2022-12-05Any mummies here went through natural birth with episiotomy? How was your experience like ?(if you don't know mind sharing) My first birth was a traumatic one because of the episiotomy 😭 I didn't expect them to literally just snip me whilst I was having contractions. Aren't they supposed to inject some sort of anaesthetic first to numb us??? Cause during stitching , resident Doc injected the area to numb me , but kinda shocked they don't do that during snipping 😮‍💨 I've heard so many mums sharing they don't feel a thing during episiotomy cause they were numbed due to the injection but not for my case. The midwife who handled me didn't even warn me about it. Now that I'm almost due with baby 2 , I can't help but feel anxious about labour because of my experience.. Is there any way to avoid having tears during birth? Does perineum massage helps? I read having sex helps alot but unfortunately, sex is so uncomfortable for me these days that I don't enjoy it at all. 😭😭😭 Do share with me your episiotomy stories if any and tips to reduce / avoid tears during birth. 2022-12-05I gave birth 5 days ago when my child was only 38 weeks few days. I have been keeping this to myself but feel i needed to let it out as i feel it eating me and slowly making me depressed. I am feeling really guilty for inducing labour. Reason why i did was due to baby size. I could have waited for the right time but didn’t want to go for c sectiondue to baby big size so decided to induce and have baby early. I don’t know why but i feel like I forced it out and now i am missing being pregnant at the same time guilty for forcing birth. If you get what i mean? Haven’t been myself lately. Just hope letting out will make me better

2022-12-06Supposedly 8 weeks based on first day of last period. First scan in supposedly 7th week showed sac only. After one week, report dates sac size 1.34cm at 6week 2 days. More brown spotting these 2 days. Should I be worried? Still no yolk sac. Doc said normal, next scan in 2 weeks. 🙇🏻‍♀️

I lifted up my dress to see if any movement in the belly , but I don't see any physical movement of baby kick. Is baby kick supposed to be intense or painful? Not sure why I don't see any physical movement in the belly. Does the bubble feel consider baby kick ? Gynae say if by week 24 no baby kick, have to go down to her. She couldn't be separated ever since and had to sleep with someone by her side at night. Having my second born I tried letting him sleep in his cot. But I had to make him cry to sleep. I was ok at first but After that i stopped cause i thought it's cause of the powder. Then now i'm using Cetaphil moisturizer for baby. I don't know if it's getting bad but definitely not getting better. What do i do? Also what do you use for baby's neck after shower? 2022-12-07My baby is 1 month and 5 days, and the past few days after her feeding (expressed breastmilk) she will show signs of sleepiness and we will carry her until she dozes off. But once we put her down in the cot, she will wake up. Or sometimes she doesn’t sleep at all after a feed. Any mommies have similar problem? We suspect she has gas but she burps after feeding. My daughter has been using the Joie Nitro LX stroller about 9 months but when she turned 1 years old, she refuse to sit in the stroller. I tried to put stroller toys, the interactive ones and rattles but nothing seems to make her sit still. My daughter is quite chubby hence I'd really like her to sit in the stroller instead of using the carriers. I thought of changing another stroller that suits her. She doesn't wants to lie down anymore and prefers to sit. The current stroller can sit but she feels uncomfortable. Any recommendations or advice?

2022-12-07Hi mummies, so basically i just put my 2 YO toddler to N1 on last Thursday & i was there for 3 days to accompany her so from Tuesday onwards i cant be there anymore. Today is the 2nd day of me not being there. Shes was traumatised this two days bc shes always very cling onto me and suddenly left her there. So at night she cant sleep well , keep having nightmares calling mummy in her dream and crying …. Seeing all this i feel so heart pain.. Anyone encounter things like this? And also how long does it takes for ur toddler to get used to going to school without crying ? :) Lastly , for this two days the teacher has been telling me that shes not eating much on her lunch & tea break. It really worries me as usually before she enters preschool she can eat alot at home and not fussy & the water she also didnt drink much in school too. I usually fill her waterbottle full so easier to monitor if she got drink water in school and i always get almost full back ….. any mummies here has the same situation as me.?:(
2022-12-07At 38 weeks + 1 and still struggling daily with acid reflux. Medicine to tame it barely works these days to ease the reflux. Anyone else going through the same thing? What do you do about it?
2022-12-08No proper sleep at all !!!! So I feel tired always. Energy reduced...! I may die during delivery😒 I can't sleep on any sides...neither left nor right ,not even straight .....every 5 mins I change my sleeping position...too much sleep disturbance😔 So, sometimes I sit and sleep but that also causes low back pain, as the baby weight pressure goes down during sleep. I sit and sleep for half an hour, again wake up.😓 What is the solution? Sleep is extremely important for energy. Please suggest what to do......

If normal how long does it last? If let it froze how long does it last? - after defroze or normal, warm up the milk for how long? If baby is back to sleep dont want to drink. Kindly help as im scared my baby drink expiry breastmilk

During the scan, i asked if i can hear the foetus' heartbeat but the sonographer said the KKH protocol is that no listening to fetal heartbeat during first trimester. 2022-12-08Hi mummies! I’m currently at W39D3 today. Went for my appt for a cervix check but gynae said that i’m not dilated (0cm) and baby is still high up. Therefore, given the option to induce/ elective csect or wait it out till my EDD next week and decide again. Felt a little disappointed tho because bb was head down since W24 & I’ve been having pelvic pains for the past few weeks… but end up still not engaged yet. 1. Any mummies able to share their experience of successful induction even when baby is not engaged? I was told of the risk too if induction fails might lead to emergency csect. 2. Also, gynae says placenta and amniotic fluid levels are okay. Bb is currently 3.3kg now, should I wait it out till past my EDD? 2022-12-09My baby is going to be 1 month old in 2 days. Lately she has been very fussy, kept crying non stop and making it difficult to soothe her. We tried all ways (eg: feed her, changed her diapers, burp her, carry her and walk around etc) but it doesn’t stop the wailing immediately. She can cry halfway through feeding. She is for sure getting enough milk as we bottle feed her. I’m extremely reluctant to start her on pacifier because of several reasons. 2022-12-09Hi mummies who gave birth at TMC (asking cause it’s easier since we have the same report). My baby is 11mo and I was just looking at her health booklet yesterday and came across this paper which was inside. The results was G6PD screening - Present. Does that mean my baby has G6PD? No one mentioned anything to me during my stay nor did any PD or polyclinic staffs mentioned anything for the entire 11m. Baby’s jaundice was pretty normal at 150 and cleared by the first week, pee’s color have been good, pale yellow. Asking the above because I’m afraid i need to watch the things I feed her. 2022-12-09My baby boy is turning 5 months in few days time and he's my firstborn, so was unsure if this(photo of his gum - the 2 white spots) is a sign of his teeth coming out soon? So far he has been showing sign of teething from what I know was excess drooling, extra fussiness and irritability, crying, loss appetite and having a slight fever. 2022-12-10Hi, I'm in about 7 weeks of pregnancy. The fatigue seems to have gone down. The issue is I'm always hungry but has no appetite due to weird taste in mouth and feeling nauseous. When I do eat something I like I will eat a bit before feeling nauseous and wants to lie down again. Is this normal? And any tips to eat more despite the discomfort? This is my first pregnancy.

2022-12-10I am most probably in my 4th week ( my first kkh appt is next week). Lately for the past week, I have this disgustingly full feeling, even thinking of what to eat kinda repulses me and I feel like vomiting but I can't. It's a really uncomfortable feeling and that feeling last the entire day to the point where I have not eaten anything for the entire day and at dinnertime, I still feel immensly full and don't feel like eating anything. Is this normal and what do I do to alleviate this uncomfortable feeling? Please advise. Thanks!
