2022-11-14My stomach is rock hard at 36 weeks. Is that normal? I don't have anymore squishy parts to my stomach when I press on it and I can feel the baby whenever I press on my belly. It's not Braxton Hicks bcos there's no tightening. Just a rock hard belly.

2022-11-14Anyone has lobang where to buy like multipacks/Bundle of baby rompers? (Not those V cuts type but like the short types rompers). Hubby is fussy about baby clothings and prefers the short type rompers compared to the V cuts type. My sis bought those V cut type and hubs is adamant in not using them and asked to keep in storage or bless away 😭 help.

At first it was working, i tried to pump and manage to get about 90ml at most. I had alot of Braxton Hicks, Kick in my Pelvic and such but i do not know when is the green light to go Hospital. Seeing posts of pregnancy and baby toys when I have been TTC for awhile now. I have no children and been having baby fever for quite sometime now. 2022-11-14So i gave birth almost 2 years ago and my perineum still kind of hurt (eg, if i try to poop, i can feel it being sore and uncomfortable). To my knowledge, its only supposed to hurt for a few months. I’ve been to KKH and all they said was that the wound has healed nicely and there should be no problem. I’m not asking for it to be completely back to normal (no scar etc). I just wish it will stop hurting, if i poke some areas of the scar, it will hurt too. I am staying in a rented 1 room condo and we don't have enough space for baby cot and stuff, let alone space for confinement nanny to stay over esp we only have 1 toilet. 2022-11-16Hey mommies! I'm expecting number 2 in Jan and would like to try breastfeeding her. Didn't manage to fully breastfeed my boy back in 2020 as I was in a pretty depressed situation at that point of time , thus resorted to formula after 1 month. This time round now that we are living on our own , I'd like to try bf my princess if possible. Question is , how do I know baby is full from bf? Do they stop latching automatically? 2nd , how do I know they are receiving milk from boobies? 😅 (I mean boobies aren't like bottle that we can see how much baby drinks) How do I know I'm producing milk? 😅 Back with my firstborn , the nurses at labour ward helped expressed colustrum and told me to just latch. 2022-11-16Hi mummies, just wanna see some opinions. My due date is 2-3 weeks away from CNY which is Feb23. And becoz my husband is Msian, ever since covid lockdown he never go back for CNY celebration with family. I know this time he will be happy to go back to celebrate with his family. But becoz is very near to due date I not sure isit alright to travel back to JB. We also have a 1yo infant with us & too bad we not able to get train tix 1-2 days before CNY. 2022-11-17Why is formula milk so expensive? I mean there are just 2 or 3 brands that are cheaper like dulac and Grow. The rest are in 50s and 60s dollars range. 2022-11-17Hello mummies, i’m currently 38 weeks + 5 days. I had my cervical check two days ago and was only 1cm dilated. 30 mins after, i went to pee and there was blood, and then hours later when I got home, i was still bleeding (first pic). and on that same day at night, there’s this gooey brownish discharge (second pic) on my panty liner. Is this considered a bloody show? Today is the third day after my cervical check and i’m only seeing brown discharge now. I had contractions but i think its braxton hicks because it doesn’t come in regular intervals. I’m so sorry for the gross photo, i might delete this post when someone replies. Cos my last appt with the hospital was on 7th october and up to date there wasn’t any appt for me. So for over a month I have no updates of baby’s growth or well-being. 2022-11-18My LO is 5 weeks and a high need baby. He cries when being put down, changing clothes, changing nappies and taking a bath. He only stop crying when i feed him and held in my arms. Most of the time he's like that. It's so rare when he behaves. He's breastfeed, and his output is good also. I love him so much but can't help to envy other infant that are not too sensitive. 2022-11-18Is it concerning to see gestational sac with decidual sign but no fetal pole and yolk sac? The size suggests 5 weeks. Doctor suggested possibility of early scan or anembryonic pregnancy given im supposed to be 10 weeks based on LMP. 2 weeks wait for next scan is agonizing. Update: we saw the fetal pole and a flickering heartbeat :) painful 2 weeks but probably more uncertainties to come in this journey.

Some info for those who are considering this route! 1) FTS/ OSCAR; original fees $184 after govt subsidy it’s $92. 2) Antenatal blood test to check for a range of diseases; original fees $199 after govt subsidy it’s $99.50 These fees are before any Medisave deductions, cause I’ll be using company insurance first until I draw down to the limit, before using my Medisave! So I’m unsure if eligible for further deductions. Harmony is offered at $750+ with no subsidies at the 10 week appointment. If FTS comes back with high risk, I think Harmony will be offered with subsidies for further testing.

Our space is small I have no where to hide myself to vent my emotion. He took everything to himself. He always think my target is him when I'm angry or scolding. He expect me to be soft spoken all the time, well behaved and control temper. I'm a human. Can't I have own emotion? He said I like to give instructions but if I don't give instructions he won't move or don't know what to do. my child has learning disability. Post-partum depression hit me hard, so staying fit on top of taking care of my baby without helper or family's help just wasn't on top of my list. Just went to a wedding and the first thing my inconsiderate aunt and uncle who haven't seen me in years since covid was "wow you've put on weight", in front of other relatives. It was embarrassing and hurtful. It's not something that can just be ignored and then move on from. I was self conscious throughout the wedding dinner, and I am already dreading upcoming Christmas and Chinese New Year family gatherings where they may be more of such unnecessary comments from others. Realistically I will not be able to go back to pre-pregnancy weight in time. So...***Are there any sassy witty mums here with a good, helpful comeback?*** A response that lets them know it's not okay to shoot their mouths off this way?? I don't wish to just smile and nod and say "ya lor", then feel embarrassed and self-conscious throughout the gathering. If your advice is to ignore, no that's not practical. If a person says to you "Hey you've gained weight!", you can't just treat the person as invisible and pretend you didn't hear. You can't just stay silent, you also can't ignore and just walk off. To those advising to slim down by doing exercises or to face the truth, yeah sure don't worry, am in the process, but that's not the reply suggestion I'm seeking here. Thank you in advance for those with practical advice (instead of "just ignore")!!!!!🤗
