2022-10-31My LO is about 2 weeks old. He sleeps soundly in the day in his cot, no loud sounds can wake him in the day. However, when it comes to night between 2am - 6am, he becomes very alert. Sometimes he will fall asleep when carried, but the moment he is put in the cot, he starts screaming and no matter what I have tried, he doesn’t want to sleep. I tried swaddling him, turning on the lights, singing to him, giving him pacifier… #FTM #advicepls

I experience cramps and very light brown discharge 4-5 days before my period due date. *do take note that my period never came earlier than the actual date before, it is either on the dot or few days later*. And the next morning when I woke up, I experience sore throat and fatigue. I decided to take a pregnancy test but it was negative. I still have 2-5 more days before my period due date. Has any mummies experience such symptoms? Thanks!

2022-10-31Booked 10 sessions of postnatal massage and all of them were very nice. I felt less sleepy and fatigue after the session, and my muscles were less sore. Plus, the herbal hot compress and bathing herbs add great value as well.
2022-10-31We were new parents and had no idea what we were doing. PEM nanny is a lifesaver! She has a lot of experience in baby care, and she's great at helping new moms like me get started with postpartum life. Thanks to her, I was able to rest and recover very quickly after giving birth. She was responsible and patient, making sure both my baby and I were well taken care of at all times. All in all, confinement was a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend it to all new mothers!
2022-10-31Thank god there’s Tian Wei!! I don’t need to be stuck with only traditional chinese food during my confinement. No offense but, I cannot imagine my life with one whole month of it. I love the soup, the salmon and beef are fresh and yummy. Great service 👍🏻

2022-10-31Your nanny definitely saved my day, and my anxiety! I was so stressed out as a new mommy, having no idea how to take care of my baby. The nanny not only took good care of my baby, taught me how to care for baby, and even cared about my emotions. ❤️ Definitely the best decision.

2022-10-31We have been trying for a baby for 5 years now. Last year I conceived but I miscarried at 2 months but the fetus didn't grow.. This time I had to find out that I was pregnant in the worst way. After my bike accident. Drs kept asking if I was pregnant as they wanted to schedule me in for xray immediately after the accident. But my instincts told me not to xray and i told them my period was a few days late and I wasn't sure I was pregnant or not(though I always didn't wanna expect much as I don't wanna disappoint myself). So they did a bloodtest and found out that I was pregnant. Still early stage. Now..i worry because of the impact coz I got dragged for 3mtrs on the road. And I worry too that it might end up like my previous pregnancy.. I'm currently on my 4th week I guess. This pregnancy is so precious to us. How do I do this. I kept worrying and I feel traumatised. #advicepls #pleasehelp

2022-10-31I loved the aesthetics of the pump and bottles when I first saw it. Works well and love the massage function too. Size is good - doesn’t take up much space in the bag and is lightweight - great since I’m on the go alot and rely on pumping almost all of the time.

2022-11-01I'm so freaking pissed. My newborn is 28 days old. Me, my husband and my mum(who helping me with my confinement) is covid positive so i urged everyone to wear a mask when holding my newborn or whenever they're near her. My mum occasionally wears her mask around my newborn. Sometimes she wear sometimes she don't. Sometimes her mask is not worn properly. She keep playing with my newborn without wearing her mask properly at times. Like if you care for your grandchild you would've do anything to protect them right? Why is she taking things lightly? Like does she not care if my newborn got covid? (Well i suspect she might already contracted it from my mum being very irresponsible) I've not told her off because she is a very sensitive person and is helping me with my confinement and I don't want to make her feel like I'm micromanaging her when it comes to my baby but i know everyone is gonna tell me to just tell her off because at the end of the day I'm the mother. Yes thats true but I feel like I'm being put in a position whereby i don't wanna hurt her feelings its like so paralysing I don't know how to put it into words. I feel like I'm slowly going into depression because of this ontop of other things that has been going on. As I'm writing this, she's feeding my newborn milk without mask and she's still positive. I feel like banging my head against the wall.

2022-11-01My hubby was busy at work and he hired a PEM nanny for me. I was grateful for my nanny as she cooks my meals, washes my baby and the clothes, as well as preparing my confinement bath. I would talk to her and ask her questions about confinement as if she was my mother and we bonded well. The nanny was with us for day and night care so I could sleep well.

2022-11-01The postnatal massages really helped me to unclog and improve my breast milk supply. My back pain and swelling were very much relieved, and I slimmed down a lot. The therapist was really kind and professional. How I wish I can continue to enjoy the massages!

It's so terribly itchy and dark area start to form around the rash area (most probably due to abrasion with the bra also). I used cotton bra and ensures that my clothing are thin and cooling but still the same... Is there any lotion I can apply to better the itch? I read egocort cream is safe for pregnancy but apply under breasts safe?

2022-11-01Hello mamas, My baby is 5 months old and his weight is only 5.5kg. He’s always been 3rd percentile or below since birth. He was initially breastfed , but due to lack of supply now mostly on formula. Initially I gave Lactogen and then started giving FairPrice Gold ( as it claims more probiotics)formula two months back. I’m bit worried if his weight will never improve. Doctors at KKH and polyclinic doesn’t give any recommendations for formula. They always check and say it’s Low. Last time, PD suggested I can try weaning at 5 months. So I only started giving rice cereal (1tbsp) per day for around 4 days now. If anyone in my situation, could pls share any tips for baby’s weight gain either formula or from weaning. #firsttimemom #infantformula #babyweight #weaning

She eats multiple times throughout the day and is very active, so I know it's a factor for her not gaining enough weight. Tian Wei also serve fusion meal beside than traditional meal it's make my confinment meal not boring. I was look forward to have their noodle meal weekly it's yummy ! Eg of things I only realized later that I shouldn’t be eating because I didn’t know I was pregnant or I didn’t know is risky include ginseng, sharks fin, peach gum, alcohol. But despite all the advice on Internet that says this or that cannot be eaten, I have not seen any pictures or solid evidence of bad outcomes in any articles or forums (I tried searching all over) . Most are just preemptive advice or inconclusive. But after so many women and years, there is not much real evidence. Do we worry for nothing? My detailed scan is coming up. I just hope that no issues will show up.

2022-11-04Hi mummies, I had a normal delivery and couldn’t pee within the 6hrs range afterwards so they inserted a catheter on for me to drain my urine and try to pee again the next day. Since then i’ve been seeing a urologist for it as when they remove it I still can’t pee but there is urge and sensation to do so. its been almost 3 weeks and every week i have to return back to the urologist to try and pee if fail have to insert a catheter and wait for 1 week to try again. i’m exhausted and depressed as i’ve a newborn with me and with this condition i feel like i cant give the nest to my NB too…. anyone have similar experience can you share with me? my urologist keep assuring me that i will definitely recover but its been almost 3 weeks already… :(#advicepls

2022-11-04I’m at 26 weeks today but I can’t really tell if baby is active or not. I do feel kicks and movement when I’m lying down at night. That’s all. Throughout the day, there’s lesser movements. Sometimes no movements at all. Should I be worried?

2022-11-05Muse Arts is one of the silver linings of Covid. When they offered online music lessons, it gave us the chance to expose our kids to music lessons without the hassle of shuttling them. As a musician myself, I have to commend the amazingly talented teachers for what they can do to engage the kids through the screen. I'm super impressed. Thank goodness it's on zoom cos they can have their lesson anywhere, even in the car while I ran last minute errands 😆! What a blessing for busy parents. I really hope they continue the online classes cos it really makes music classes a lot more accessible to a wider audience. 2022-11-05He cries and throw tantrums most of the times when I carry him. whenever grandma or his father carries him he is calmer. Especially now when he is sick I don't want him to cry too much and I keep worrying that he is not breathing. Most of the time my mother handles him so I understand. They keep telling me it's because they handle him most of the time that is why but no matter how I try it doesn't seem to work.

2022-11-05We were looking for music school for our 4 y.o. child to learn piano 2 years ago and found Muse Arts on Facebook, and decided to give a try. Now, we are happy to choose Muse Arts as it provides effective piano teaching syllabus and programs to the child. Our child has been demonstrated interest in piano. We would also want to thank Teacher Ryn for her patience and dedication to our child in learning piano. Usually, kids at this age easily give up when the piano song progress towards more complicated song. Teacher Ryn shows her care and encouragement to our child and holding the hands to go through the challenges. Our child now not only progress towards level 1 also show interest and self initiatives in learning piano. We are glad to have her as our child's piano teacher!

2022-11-05My LO is about 2 months old now and he's my first baby. Currently my mil helps taking care of my LO, after my confinement. She will look after my LO during day time so that I can get some sleep as I would stay up all night to care for my LO. There were many instances where I witnessed her carrying LO the wrong way and almost got a heart attack (carrying by the armpits/with one hand on LO's neck and leaving buttocks unsupported as she would be doing tasks like feeding and grabbing towel with another hand/pressing LO's head down when he's struggling and crying out of discomfort and etc). Despite reminding her of the danger and consequences of such actions to a young baby she would still forget and do it sometimes. Nothing seems to be going right especially when she is not able to put my LO to sleep and cant comfort him when he cries out loud, misread his hunger cues and etc. My LO is also a light sleeper and gets startled easily and she doesn't seem to be considerate enough to be quiet during his sleep time by talking and doing things loudly. I have no peace - can't help thinking that my LO is in lousy hands. I'm extremely worried about the safety and well being of my LO. I'm mentally exhausted, sleep deprived, physically in pain, stressed out and frustrated with my MIL. My husband is well aware of what's happening and he's as worried and stressed out as me. He tries to help whenever he's able or back from work. He communicates with my MIL everyday to remind her of the Dos and Donts. I'm lost here and don't know what to do. Most of the days I would be awake to tend to my LO during day time because my MIL can't seem to settle my LO when he cries. I sleep only 1-2 hrs per day although she's "supposed" to help out during the day time. I'm grateful for her wilingness to help but at the same time I am extremely worried. If i could i would tc of my LO all day and night but due to my extreme back and hip pain, I'm not able to. My husband is suggesting to hire a day time nanny to help with the situation. Not sure if it is worth the money and is it a wise move (do not want to hurt my MIL's feelings)? Any advice please. Greatly appreciate it.
2022-11-05Anyone get pregnant while breastfeeding? Post delivery I had bleeding for 2 weeks which is normal..however another 2 weeks later I think my menses came..but not alot though. I thought that there will be no menses during breastfeeding. If there are menses that means that I will have ovaluation and thus have chance to get pregnant again?
