2022-08-01I’m a worried mom. We brought our 2yo for a swim yesterday at RWS beach villas. The pool right outside the villa is not deep for him where he can even sit just like a baby pool. Their pool is connected to the adult pool with steps. We were sitting at the steps with our 2yo standing just beside us then he walked forward which led him to fall into the adult pool. We immediately picked him up and he coughed a bit. But I am worried if my 2yo swallowed a lot of water or if any water gets into his lungs. Any advice?

2022-08-01My lo is 3. since young she has been wary of people esp male. it takes a long time to warm up. ppl have been saying my child not greeting have no manners. and it reflects badly on me as i never teach. but no matter how i try to ask LO to greet she refuse and bury her face in my shirt. or just look away. but when she warm up liao she will make funny faces like stick tongue out blabla etc she is playing but ppl say she rude n no manners

2022-08-01Hi, I am at week7 day4 but my fetus is not developing well and not much rise in hcg level hence will be undergoing a surgery to do evacuation of the fetus. 2022-08-01Hi mommies, I want to find out about others’ experience post c-sect. My sis told me about her post c-sect experience. She told me that external wound healed in a week but internal part prolly took a month. And she is still feeling the pain around the area each time she lifts something heavy (after 7-8 years). 1. How long did it take to fully recover? Is it longer than 1 week? as in the healing of internal part. Or it all depends on individuals? 2. 2022-08-02Hello mommies, I'm currently 21 weeks and previously I had tailbone pain in my earlier weeks. Gynae said take paracetamol if too painful. But past few days it's been really bad. It's hard for me to stand on my feets in one position even for a few seconds. I feel a sharp and lightening sensation causing me to change position. Has anyone experienced this before? Should I go for a prenatal massage?

2022-08-03Hi mummies to be, i am just on my 6wk. I went to check up last week as i had brown spotting and felt sharp light pain on my right abdomen. Found that i had a polyp on my cervix and was given Duphaston pills. Im not sure if it is the side effect of the pills but it has been a week now and i have no appetite to eat. I do feel hungry now and then but i feel quesy and nauseous when i think of eating. Even the smell of food makes me nauseous. So i have not had a proper meal for a few days and i am quite worried as i am not giving enough nutrition to my body. Anyone else has went through the same?

2022-08-03Hi Mommies, anyone who went for a scheduled (public subsidised route) at KKH and did a scanning at week 5-6? The scanning lady "probed" abit hard on the left side of my pelvic until I feel slightly "bruised". The lady did reassure me that her action is okay and not harmful but still I am a first time mom and will just like to ask around to see if anybody experienced that? 2022-08-03Hi mummies, Have you ever felt hurt/ angry by discouraging comments that makes you feel that you didn’t do well or good enough for your baby? I’m meeting up with my friends. I told them that it is best to come over after my 9 mths baby’s lunch time because I’m worried that he might gets distracted by too many people. (Basically, my baby sometimes doesn’t want to open his mouth for solids. So it takes time to feed him.) One of my friend who works in an infant care commented this “just that you don’t know how to feed the correct way!! You lousy!!” I felt hurt instantly! It’s like being stab with a knife 😐 I know she didn’t mean it but I felt that it is too straightforward to say that to a First time mum who is learning everything from scratch in taking care of a baby. 😪 who doesn’t want to do it “right” and you don’t even know or understand my baby’s character. 2022-08-04Anyone encounter bleeding at 5+ weeks? Went to KKH yesterday, did vaginal ultrasound and can only see a black clot in the womb. Dr said maybe it is too early. I've been bleeding since the past few days, not so heavy to soak a pad but Im quite worried cause never experience this for my last 2 pregnancy. My HCG blood test was about 400+ yesterday and Dr gonna check again after 48hrs to see if it increase or not :(

2022-08-04Hi mummies, my baby is 3 months old and due to irregular pumping my supply is very Low which I yield about 20ml total or even less for each session. Basically My frequency from 6 times a day to 1-2 times a day. And I’ve stopped for few days now. Does any mummies here , have tried to start back pumping again? Is it too late? Any advise on increasing yield? I am still considering whether to stop pumping and just go with fully FM as starting work soon. But I keep having this thoughts running in my head like I feel bad for not able to give my LO breast milk and a part of me telling myself formula is good for baby too as long baby is healthy , happy and safe
2022-08-04Hi all… suddenly have a panic attack while showering. Was so so worried about my baby’s health and wondering how I should deal with if baby turned out to be unhealthy. I even linked to my cousin who have some mental disability which caused him to not have control of his limbs and mentality. His fingers are always cramped up and showing twist. Coincidentally, during my baby’s 16th week ultrasound, we also captured a shot of her showing a somewhat twist sign which I initially thought was so cute and rare but now, I’m just freaking out thinking what if she has the same condition as him. 2022-08-04Hi Super Mummies, How do you manage? I’m extremely sleep-deprived and can’t seem to find the time to rest. Need to pump every 4-6hrs otherwise I will feel engorged. Can’t do 2 hourly as time is restricted. Everytime I think I can rest, I need to pump or feed either toddler or newborn. It’s crazy hectic. I’m going bonkers and I’m a SAHM, my toddler is 1y 10m and is not in school yet. Living with my parents and in-laws while waiting for my BTO. I do have help but I try to do it myself as I want to get used to being alone with my kids when we get our house. I can’t seem to function everytime I wake up with 1-2hrs sleep. My 2 weeks old newborn is also colicky and is demanding for a feed every 1.5hrs - 2hrs. I really pity my firstborn as she doesn’t get as much attention as before. 😣 Care to share how’s your daily schedule like?

2022-08-05Hi mummies, anyone got greenish discharge but not uti? Doctor told me it's not uti but he prescribed me antibiotic for precautions. I've been taking it for about 2 weeks now but still having the greenish discharge. It looks like yeast infection but i got yeast infection before and it didn't take so long to go away..this time it's taking too long. Do i have to worry about it? I'm 28 weeks.

2022-08-05I'm on confinement now and supposedly hubby does my meals for me. But he doesn't cook on time though his meals are nutritious, and my dad wasn't satisfied. To solve the conflict, I ordered meals myself. Now that I ordered meals, my hubby decided to go fishing and only comes home late around dawn. Morning he's asleep cause he's so tired from fishing. He said just let my dad take care of bb since my dad enjoyed doing so. I feel very lonely at times cause midnight I am alone with bb crying. And my dad always ask me how come I allow my hubby to go fishing when I am on confinement. 😔 I feel like a single mum. #firstbaby #1stimemom #feelingalone
