2022-07-11I love it when my baby kicks. Love the sensations and flutters. But sometimes the kicks catch me off guard and my whole body jerks when he kicks! At times I also feel a teeny bit uncomfortable. Any mummies feel the same? I’m currently 25 weeks 😍

2022-07-12Hello all, currently on 20 weeks just want to check with all of you for some help and direction,do any of you have very very frequent(it’s almost every night now) leg cramps in the middle of the night from 2nd trimester onwards. The frequency has increased so much from week 17 onwards, and it’s happening almost every night! Is this normal or an indication of something wrong? 2022-07-12Was having sore throat and feeling warm on Sat (no fever) but was ART negative. Went to see a dr the following day (Mon) and was prescribed preg-safe medicine. Don’t see a need to eat them as I feel that I have become better? And I’m tested positive today. Although symptoms are mild and almost gone, I can’t help but to worry when I googled online about the possible effects COVID has on 3rd-tri pregnancy - e.g. preterm labour, etc. 😩 Anyone has similar experience?

2022-07-12I’m stuck at a marriage where I can’t move forward being his wife. I’m done. There’s no love, no kinship, no friendship, feeling suffocated. I want full custody of my 3.5yo and 9mo, since I’ve been the one taking care since born till now. Had enough of unreasonable tantrums and behaviour, disrespectful, lies. Felt that separation will be better for mental health, otherwise it’s so stressful to stay with someone who will lose his craziness at any one time when I have to deal with kids tantrums. Scolding vulgar language in front of the kids umpteen times… no matter how much I tried to protect or educate…. He’s there to destroy everything…. I really wish that he can leave us alone…. We don’t kiss or have sex since pregnant till now, we don’t communicate anymore, whatever he’s doing outside I don’t know, where he goes I don’t know, what time he will be home I don’t know…. Our house is like a hotel….? Whenever he wants he just play with the kids, whenever he don’t want he just heck care or scold the kids? I’m so stuck…

2022-07-13I’m under subsidised route at kkh, I’ve had about 3 scans now, week 6, week 12, and week 20 which is recently. The week 20 scan hurt so much as the nurse was trying to get all the arms, legs and kidney and heart measurements. And she also poke too rough to my stomach and shake/slap my belly a few times to make my baby move. Is that normal? She seems like middle age lady from China. Now I’m scheduled to have another scan after 4 weeks, but I’m scared it will be too rough again.

2022-07-13My baby is 6.5 months old and currently at an ifc 10 mins walk away from our house. Got a call recently and was informed an ifc nearer to our house has a slot. However I am not sure if I should change centres now as my baby is used to the current ifc as she has been attending there almost 2 months. 2022-07-13My lo is 2y4m old n has been attending school since last year oct(18mo), things are pretty great with her current school, the teachers are friendly n nice, centre is responsive to our queries, not too far away even though there are nearer schools. However, she has been falling sick weekly/biweekly ever since n longest she didn't fall sick was 3weeks n only once. She would attend school for a week or 2 then be home sick for 2-3 weeks 😵‍💫 n has already passed her illness to her baby brother(4mo) 5times already. This week she's home sick due to HFMD again, this is the second time, previous time was just in april. We were wondering if changing school would be a good option for her? 2022-07-13hi mommies! today at 16 weeks pregnancy, i took the usual bus ride to work. i was standing for 15 mins as the peak hour did not allow me to sit. suddenly, my hearing became muffled and my vision was blurry (spinning at slow speed). this occured for a good 1 minute. i was so scared i would faint in the bus but thankfully it got better. has anyone experienced this before? is it due to low bp/ sugar? i did have my usual breakfast (maternal milk and 1 slice of bread) before leaving the house. #pregnancy #health

However realised that lately my right boob is yielding 10-20ml per pumping session compared to the first few days while the other is yielding 80-100ml, is this normal? Last time before ttc I used to run and work out occasionally when I can, but now that I found out I'm pregnant I don't dare to do any impactful exercises - trying to just take walks and yoga stretches. 2022-07-15I'm really grateful for my dad. He's retired but is always there to help me physically, emotionally and financially. I feel bad to be taking his money for these 2 crucial months and isn't able to give him allowance. My husband is unemployed so I am the only one working throughout my pregnancy. God bless my dad and I hope the following months I can support him financially as well. I just had my 20 week detailed scan yesterday and the doctor informed me that they detected a cyst in my baby's brain and the umbilical cord has only 1 vein (normally it should have 3 veins that are connected). 2022-07-15What do you do when you are exhausted. Like no one can ever understand and help you. Even your own hubby. You just want to get away from everyone everybody to have a peaceful mind. It’s like you only have your baby and hubby. You already giving up with your in law as they don’t really help much and out of respect you don’t want to really speak out your words as they can be mean. 2022-07-15My close friends are either single or without kids so they don’t understand how mentally and physically tired I am during this period. Before pregnancy, they are constantly asking when I am going to have a baby and they are so excited to be godma. Once I am pregnant, most of them turned into ghost. Even for the baby shower, which “godma” gives 1 bottle of baby lotion as present? Am I expecting too much from my friends to be supportive? I won’t even do that to an acquaintance.

2022-07-15You know how usually baby boy’s diapers only gets wet on the front part… but my baby girl (6.5m) is the same 🥲 I often end up with a full front and 3/4 of the diapers is yellow and dry even after 12 hours…….. I usually change 3-4 hourly in the day, so seeing 3/4 of the diapers dried but yet cannot don’t change since the front is wet and heavy…. Bless my heart and pocket. A part of my really wants to flip the diapers sometimes 🥹

2022-07-16I am 21 weeks and a ftm. Based on my detailed scan, I am having a fairly big baby. I feel so self conscious about my pregnant belly because at 3months I was already starting to show. Now at 5 months, my belly is huge! People have been commenting about how I look like I'm about to give birth or asking if I'm sure I'm not having twins. These comments make me feel so self conscious. Especially when they compare my belly to other pregnant mothers around me who are further along in their pregnancy.
